I am pretty good with small engines. I'm right down the road from you, and I will look at it for you.

Lol wish I had known sooner I tore the whole saw apart and have some new parts on the way if that doesn't fix it I'll hit you up

Really? You got this. Its always the air fuel ratio. Either old gas changing the burn or the mixture from the main jet. It doesn't matter how many circuits the cab has. High rpm is always the main jet & no matter how they try to limit what we can adjust. Engines change & so dose the elements. So all you need to do is search how to adjust the main jet & tune it while running. You'll need a carb adjustment screwdriver. pretty much every two stroke ive owned needed adjustment at some point. Just search how to adjust a 435.

      It's lean. Not enough fuel.

So you would turn the top screw out. Out for more fuel. Opening up the main port by pulling the needle out.

Think of it this way. The trigger is directly connected to the butterfly to control the air. That vacuum pulls the fuel. So we dont adjust the air. Other then those carbs will optional slots for the pull rod. We adjust the fuel. By the sound of it you dont have enough fuel. So it cant climb in rpm. If you have to much fuel it will still run while trying to burn it. You said you just replaced the carb. Well ive never seen a carb come adjusted. Odds are it pretty much has to be out of adjustment. soon youll be tuning every two stroke you have & a lot happier.

trust me im no stranger to carb tuning that's why i ended up replacing the carb on this saw, ive tried the full range of adjustment both the high and low jet, other than changing how it idles with the low jet it acts the same way when i hit the trigger, its not lean that would cause it to over rev not bog down. i tried a compression test but my gauge isn't working correctly but it has less with the same gauge than my 350 so i tore the whole saw down and am going to replace the piston and after discussing the issue on a forum im going to go ahead and replace the coil i think it may be missing the spark some of the time but by the time im done it will all be new so it better work lol

The main jet should make a big difference. When hou say it doesn't. That reminds me of issues I've had where the fuel line swelled up another where the pick up in the tank was bad. I know i sound like Captain obvious. I dont mean to. As you say about lean is true to a point. But lean can act like it is if its extremely lean. Like a restriction. Dont shoot me. But the gas isnt over a month is it?
