Where are those giant people singer, musicians, poets , actors who are sitting in this PTV's mehfil of the century. We missed them everyday coz without their artistry fans are left with crap of music and poetry , iqbal bano was one of the Towering figure in ghazal singing creating musical magic here and will be remembered. God bless the souls of all who are not with us anymore . Thanks for posting

Nasir kazmi is one the modern urdu poets ... simple words , fresh metaphors and arresting meanings...Really enjoying reading his poetry.
what a beautiful rendition of one of my fave ghazals of Nasir sb....
Yousuf Kamran a well known poet (Kishwar Naheed's husband) is also there. They both were Sufi Ghulam Mustafa's Tabasum AKA Sufi sb's shagird. I met them along with Sufi sb number of times in my house because they were good friends with my father Anwar Ali (creator of NANNA of Pakistan Times). Yousuf sb died of heart attack at the age of just 52. Sweet memories.

an exquisitely sung ghazal by the matchless singer. alaaps are very long and complex but each one is flawless. i have not heard many purely classical singers render them with such finesse. and the element of charm is never lost in those alaaps. this is a rare phenomenon. her use and control of the bedar-ang is superb. i can't stop swaying and shaking my head in bliss and admiration throughout. wish that i had heard her singing live like these very fortunate people in the video.

Amzaing amazing amazing., dont wana say anything about the poetry and the singer, as they are master class in themselves. I am captivated by the audience , Hamed Fraz, Nayyara Noor, Shehryar Zaidi and if i m not wrong, the one and only Ihsan Danish, may be some more legends are present there which i have not been able to recognize or shown by the camera angle.It asll reminds me the era when greats used to have such programs and used to participate in them, what a thriving and open and developing society we had!!!! destroyed by few zombies .
