Hello my friends!
No, I am not dead yet :)
It’s been the longest time ever without uploading any videos - more than 3 months.
I was totally disconnected from RUclips, I did not read any comments (in case you were asking where was I)
I was thinking to make a video to explain the reason for my absence, but I thought there was no point to waste your time.
So I am back with a video.
I have more videos ready to upload, so keep those notifications on :)
Sorry to all who waited!
Good news, I have more time to spend on RUclips….Oh Yeah!
Shake the Future I am glad to hear from you again I was starting to get a little bit conserned. If i were to make a survival phone I would add a small solar panel. This way my phone would be always ready (solar panels were quite slow phone chargers in my experiments so it wouldn't really be good for much else) .
Welcome back m8
Thank You I.G Noreme! I agree about the solar panel. It would be a nice addition and it does not take a lot of space.
Thank You Amir! I am glad you like it.
You've been away because you were testing this phone, weren't you
Glad to see you back, I'd love to see more cool projects
Thank You!
Great video but u should show the blueprint and leave a link for exact instruction to make the 3D printed piece so people can recreate what you did
Exactly, I want to build one.
Finally a shake the future video
Yes, it's been a long time. Cheers!
Pink Guy I love your music
Hello. Really nice work your doing. Can I the STL file, so I can 3d print one myself. Cheers from Denmark. / Michael
I have a Nokia 106.1, battery lasts for a week. It would be interesting to see how long the battery would last with this modification.
It would last very long, that's for sure. The new Nokia 3310 would last even more. It's a beast even with the original battery.
I'm sure it would last an eternity
If you use lipo cells, you could've easily doubled the capacity
bro really extended the already good battery that can last around 3 months
Ah good old Nokia 3310, first phone i ever had and also the best one. lots of hours wastes on the worm game including school hours hehe.
Very nice video, would def have this in my survival kit ( if i had a survival kit) :D
Thank You! I also don't have a survival kit. I talk like I do, but I don't 😀
3:39 mini roll filament is always needed in a survival situation
It's a roll of thread from sewing machine.
Welcome back!!! Cool video 😊
Thank You Ana!
Nice ,you should add an hidden USB port so you may charge your smartphone , you could turn this Nokia into a lot of tings , I remember when it came out.
That's a great idea. I also remember when it came out, but I never owned one...now 17 years later, I do. My first phone was Siemens A35
@@ShakeTheFuture Mine was Siemens C25. Did you have a completely ridiculous pleather holster with a terrible soft-PVC window?
Hello, I tried to connect 3AAA recheargeable (3,6v) to the battery controller but the phone did't work. How can connect a custom battery to the phone please?
I'm subscribed to so many people so whenever someone who doesn't upload often uploads I'm like "WOAH I FORGOT I WAS EVEN SUBBED TO YOU" lol
I know the feeling :)
Very nice indeed (and yes: it's good to see you back)
Thank You very much Grizzly!
Genuine batteries have a safety circuit (DW01-eqiuvalent control IC and a dual MOSFET) to prevent battery overdischarge and other electrical accidents (such as external short circuit or overvoltage from charge IC failure) integrated into the battery terminal board. It may perhaps be ideal to integrate that into the battery, you can buy a variety of battery protection boards with equivalent components. But with a couple 18650 cells connected in parallel, i can't say that i'm too concerned that something is going to go wrong - they aren't ever going to get reverse biased, which would indeed be very bad if it were to happen, and they have an internal pressure safety system with electrical disconnect to prevent explosion, though that may activate by venting with flame so it's best to avoid it getting to that.
Welcome back my friend!
Thank You! It's a nice feeling to be back.
Good to have you back amigo! 😎👍
Thank You Calo! I am glad to finally be back.
nice project!
Brilliant! 🤗
A good idea .
Cool but looks like a massive fire hazard
Nice video. But next time try to add a heatsink to the led. That kind of led's will get extremely hot
Thank You for the tip. I would have done it, but.....I removed the L.E.D from another flashlight and it did not have an additional heatsink. The back of it is made from aluminium, I guess it acts as a small heatsink?! It does not get that hot. If I'll use something more powerful in the future, I'll remember about the heatsink. Cheers!
I like it and we miss you
Your fan from Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦
Thank You Uthman Ahmad!
Welcome back. What a brilliant idea thank you for sharing with us.
Thank You Opa!
Please can you share the STL files so we can make our own survival Nokia? BIG THANKS!!!
file for 3d print please? i want to do it
Damn I just bought an "original" Nokia battery for my 3310 on ebay. I hope it is really original and not fake...
Can I have the files for the case please?
WOW! Please let me 3d print one
Finally your new video was heartly awaited by me
Sorry that it took so long.
Is that classified as a weapon? 🤣🤣
Can I buy one of this
you are a genius
Thank You!
The legend
Thank You!
Add FM radio and GPS
Nice !!
(Tem algum BR aqui ?)
Pessoal faço projetos relacionados a eletrônica ,dentre outros .
Cant you share diagram wirimg
I need this phone
Nice, even though it wouldn't be useful in countries/carriers that have shut down their 2G network.
Yes, that's true. I should make one with another phone.
One of reasons why 2G is better than 3G.
Захотел себе такой апгрейд батарейки с возможностью заряжать от нее основной телефон через usb😅
You are the best
Thank You The Wild Ryu!
oh yeah
Oh Yeah!
Put some C4 then...
This isn't the _best_ idea, but, okay...?
EDIT: I now have the Nokia 3310.
and you can use it as weapon in a survival situation
if u know what i mean
Ahmed zain hit them over the head with a Nokia
You can even hit an animal with that big boy :))
Absolutely :)
If you drop that phone, it'll create a black hole
no only if you drop an iphone 11 pro max then a black hole would appear
How big is your son now? The last time we saw him was in the self rocking stroller video.
Thanks for asking. He is a 2 year old toddler. Let's see if he can make another appearance in one of the videos.
if you have shop here in the philippines i'll be your first customer, awesome i have nokia 3310 classic but i lost the battery and back cover
Laxus Dreyar you can still buy the Classic Nokia 3310 its basically the same model. Battery included, the back will fit ( no guarantee )

Hi from Ukraine. 🇺🇦👍
meh.. overdone...
I agree! 😊
Soldered the led.? Its not pronounced lead... you pronounce it by spelling it out.. L.E.D.
Thanks for the tip. I usually (in other videos) do pronounce it L.E.D, this time I made a mistake.
