- The Airport Express Train (Norwegian: Flytoget) is a Norwegian high-speed airport railway service connecting Oslo Airport to Oslo Central Station in nineteen minutes. Run by Flytoget AS , it operates on the high-speed Gardermoen Line using sixteen GMB Class 71 electric trains. Normal service frequency is once every ten minutes, with five of the services each hour continuing westwards beyond Oslo Central. The extended services serve nine stops within Greater Oslo and take up to 60 minutes. As airport rail services go, this is one of the best we have seen. It is very fast, efficient, and comfortable.

That is a good looking train
Agreed!
@@DJHammersTrains Thanks for your understanding
Norways nicest train
Kinda reminds me of the EMUs (E259 series I think?) used on the Narita Express in Japan
Nice system. 👌💚
When are they going to use the new one ?
If the new acela look that way instead of the dolphin front end that doesn't fit the rest of the coach cars, I'd ride every chance I got, especially during traveling to different states.
Does anyone notice that this train sounds like the R211 or I'm incorrect?
Barely
Nah remains me on the m7
It does have a very interesting propulsion sound!
That’s what a train oughtta look like.
BTW, these people are dressed awfully lightly for January in Scandinavia.
The video was taken in July 😀
@@DJHammersTrains Oh…well that ‘splains it Lucy.
