The fake one was an actual reenactment of an actual stolen valor video. The one they are making fun of was this dude in a mall wearing that uniform with his 9 neck rolls coming over the collar.
I noticed that right away too. Was pretty easy to tell.
I'm an army veteran and I would completely feel the same way. I wanted to say that I do wear my uniform when I do funeral details. I am a part of the veterans association from Apache nation. I'm proud to continue to wearing the uniform. But sad to wear it when a fallen comrad goes home
you can legally wear anything you want
im in the navy and even i know san diego are the "hollywood" marines lol
Did the one guy say Parris Island is in California?? LOL
I am a true Hollywood Marine. I did my basic at MCRD San Diego followed by My MOS at 29 Palms. Can't get more Hollywood then that.
I loved this. Y’all make great content ngl
thank you 🙏
Y’all are so iconic love when y’all make videos ❤️
The real service person should have called the police instead of engaging with these idiots. It is a crime offence to wear a full miiitary uniform if you are not active duty and you are using the uniform to make a profit. Ask the 14 year old child what a cover is. And the 3rd guy, ask him if he's hiding a semi truck under his shirt. His pants leg is ripped and he has something on the front of his shirt and is not wearing boots. His American flag is on incorrectly if he had been deployed.
That Ranger script sounds like the one where the far guy was in the mall
The truth is that people should not wear institutional uniforms and pretend to be the military from any country. It is disrespect and abuse. It is my opinion with all due respect.
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I am a retired CSM and I wear my BDUs when I am in parades and memorial services
If they did serve, i dont think anyone should have a problem with them wearing the uniform they fought in.
Hey I have a question. I have old BDU's even though im not in the military I just wear them for airsoft. Is that okay? or is that classified as stolen valor?
yes that is okay. I did it all of the time lol
As long as you don't have a unit patch or rank your fine you can wear the full kit...
Wearing BDUs with no service insignia, ribbons, or making representations of being in, or having been in the military is OK. BDUs are sold to civilians through multiple outlets. It's legal to own and wear them. During hunting season, lots of folks wear BDUs, particularly woodland pattern.
Stolen Valor under the Supreme Court Decision only applies if you are making a financial gain from wearing a uniform.
Other than that it's a Constitutional Right and Free speech and expression.
Vets Do not like it because they strive to stay relevant and they violate their own Valor and UCMJ by thinking they are self entitled.
Truth is they work under the public not over them.
our oath protects these people.
Further , alot of these people are very noticably mentally ill. It's illegal to exploit them and very sueable .
Personally any vet that confronts people is stupid and weak minded to begin with.
Only certain times you can wear the uniform and only if you are retired. And the unform usually is a formal uniform
Wrong lol
That woman is kinda.... slow.
your ignorant for stating a veteran cannot use a uniform 🥋 ever again. this is not a case of stolen valor if you have earned the valor. the law states that if you are using the image or idea of earning a form of valor to gain a financial profit is illegal only if you have NOT Earned THAT VALOR.
5:00 is a parody from the guy in the mall who was shopping with his staff sergeant on black friday lol hahaha
Stolen valor is so despicable. I have not served but I have friends that gave all and lost people in action... so I totally understand and I call mofo's out on this
I've had people pretending on Facebook recently to be in Army and milatary and secret missions trying to get me to send them a photo. It's wild because if I don't they get mad and I used to sale make-up. I'm like dude not on I'm in a relationship but there is a thousand u can copy and paste if u wanted that bad. I think they are fake too trying to hack
That Army Ranger had no command presence, 😂 😆 😝
I was Navy, went to great lakes. My grandad went to Paris island never once did he say anything about Hollywood maybe hell.
Fundraising or any type of trying to get money for false service is against the law.
Sara is best nurse in the world
The guy with the neck collar is clearly a spoof of the phony fat boy Staff Sgt from the mall video, word for word. it's actually well done and hysterical. Well done guys.
Austen, I need some help some help man. I’ve just been cooling and basic snuck up on me. I’m at 194 I have to get down to 181 leave March 09 . You have any workout advice, my diet is good clean I don’t eat much junk. Chicken, salmon, haddock with rice and some color greens. Rice cakes for snacks. Thanks man I would appreciate it
Make a two thousand calorie diet and run at least 4 miles on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Weight train on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday. Do not eat anything more than two calories a day. You’ll lose weight.
Hi 🙋♀️! Sarah. How’s your COVID injection? And stay safe and love you both so much ❤️❤️🥰🥰🥰.
Hello! I'm doing great already 2 weeks post 2nd shot!
@@SaraOlson Sooo glad to hear that. ❤️❤️❤️❤️☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️
Hi to you Austen and Sara hope ya both have a great day
Hollywood Marines come from MCRD San Diego.
Im not in the military but I have huge respect to the veterans and those who served in the British and American military. As a runner I did my second virtual running challenge called for the fallen where I had to run 11k for a month, so after 13 weeks of running and 3 park runs I did it in 2 days and I got my ebib and the money I paid for the challenge goes to the veterans who needs help from PTSD and other mental health issues.
For those who are veterans and in the military god bless you guys and much love from the UK 🇬🇧 ❤
I really don't get why people do this what's so special about being a soldier most of my military service was boring to say the least so I really don't get it. Also the money some of them must spend must run into thousands buying medals and patches and all that you would need a lot of veterans discount to get your money back.
How did you know you wanted to go into the military
Actually you can wear your uniform minus your unit patch and rank nothing against it unfortunately as long as your not benefiting financially
you can wear anything
She is so loud
Better than boring
How is Civilian swat viewed when wearing Military uniforms..?? Is that considered Stolen Valor too..??
This Stolen Valor crap rubs me the wrong way. 1. You can't steal someone's valor.... valor is a quality and potential that some have and some don't. It's like a person has intelligence and others not so much. In neither case can someone steal that part of you character from you? Nor can you borrow it or have it given to you. 2. Yes, it's sad that some folks have nothing of their own to feel proud of, I pity them. If wearing a uniform wrong, makes them feel better. It doesn't bother me and frankly I don't see why it should bother anyone. If you think that kid wearing a uniform dishonors some hero that you know... think about it, how did that change that hero's deeds, sacrifices, honor? Not that it matters but yes I'm a vet. I wasn't a hero. I volunteered. I did my duty. I got paid. I'd rather you don't thank me. Save it for those who were wounded in body and/or mind. Honor the heros and save a pinch of good will for those who have nothing to be proud of.
Austin is it ok to wear a uniform if they are celebrating veterans day and I wear it to my church or kids school. Im not military im just wondering
No man you’re not military and didn’t earn it. Wear a shirt or hat saying Marines Navy Army Chair Force whatever.
They’re so right for each other !!!
11:10 💀😂
I don't think it's stolen valor to simply wear the uniform IF you were actually in the military. It's the pretenders that's the problem.
Austen is awesome so is sara she the best hi hows it going
How do I mute her?
How didn’t Sara know that people who currently is not in the military services you can’t wear uniforms it’s literally common sense 🤦🏻♀️😂 that’s messed up they’re going that I would go off on them too 😂😂
Great .
5:03 is actually a parody of a stolen valor video. Heres the actual video.
ruclips.net/video/1PbcNzzqfqs/видео.html
Hi
The one ranger video was fake it’s a play on another stolen valor video
😘😘😘😊😊
Jesus christ, they will give anybody a podcast these days
lmfao right ...
Your not a real vet reason 1 you’re still in the navy reason 2 you haven’t seen combat and when I hear of a vet I don’t think abt u I think abt ppl who’ve been in combat and have seen ppl die and have killed enemy soldiers
Not sure about the US but in Australia if someone signs up to serve their country and d wear the uniform, regardless if they have deployed and or seen combat, they are still considered veterans. My uncle was Australian Navy and did 8 years, never saw combat and is considered a vet here.
