    First off, congrats on fatherhood!
I enjoyed and appreciated the video! I enjoy playing Criminal Syndicate (I got there through Spider Foes) and it is nice to glean some wisdom from someone who mains them.
If you are doing more like this, I would like to see how you might build a Klaw-led Criminal roster. I've been enjoying him as both a leader and under Kingpin, but could always use pointers.
I did have a question, though - why not Demons Downtown? I get that incinerate would lead to losing your Kingpin leadership benefits earlier, but can't you just cycle characters around the points? Or is it more about a low number of secures? Something else that I'm not thinking about?

Thank you for always watching and commenting! I really appreciate it. People like you make this worth doing!
As for Demons Downtown, the main issue is that it’s only a total of 3 victory points. So realistically we are scoring 2 VP a turn and getting our characters incinerated. If you plan on playing Klaw, Demons is much better because he’s immune to the incinerate. Demons isn’t awful for kingpin, but there’s better options.
I definitely plan on doing a Klaw breakdown! I’m still experimenting with him, so I’m not an expert. But I can share my thoughts and we can brainstorm together.

Good video, I definitely reconsidered a few of my extracts after watching this.
I think Ulik being affiliated and having access to stagger gives him the edge over juggernaut.
Have you tried crimson dynamo? Especially with researcher I have found him to be crazy good. Not someone you take all the time but definitely worth taking on many occasions
The other character I like instead of lizard is Luke Cage. He gives you taunt, access to stagger, and a great tactics card. Not as universal as lizard but I think he brings more utility for what you are trying to do with a king pin list.

Definitely some good thoughts here! Everything about Ulik seems like he would be great in this team, but I personally just don’t like him. I would never fault somebody for taking him! Especially because anybody that owns Bill also own Ulik!
Dynamo is a character that I’ve considered but never tried. I think my main issue with him is that he doesn’t have any direct control and that he’s another 4 threat when we already have so many.
Luke Cage is great! I usually give the edge to Lizard because of his speed, but Luke is right there behind him. He even ignores bleed from Hood heal!
The last 3 spots in the roster are definitely flexible. I encourage you to try these characters out and see how they work for you, and let me know how it goes! I’m always looking to improve.
Thank you for watching and commenting, I really appreciate it!

A good combo I've discovered is if you bring Scientist Supreme MODOK into the field you should keep him close to Mysterio. Using his Science Requires Sacrifice skill you can redirect any attack to Mysterio. And since they can't pay the two energy to remove his defensive skill that's basically a free five defense on everything coming your way.

Good call! This trick used to work until recently. There was a rule change somewhat recently that now allows the opponent to pay the 2 power. I think it’s still a great combo, just not as crazy as it was!

What should I search to find that ruling? Came up at a qualifier over here recently! (Sacrifice onto Maw, but same idea).

@@djanatpour Go to the MCP rules forum and search “Enchanting vs Bodyguard” the forum will discuss how the rule was changed.
      Hope that helps!

    Great video, really useful!
Interested in why you didn't get along with ulik? On paper seems like an eyes play, damage reduction and power generation for all according to plan would be a good fit in this team?

Awesome video, going to play my first CS game tomorrow. With the new CGR hype, how would you deal with a character like this?

    • @SyndicateGamingNerds
      @SyndicateGamingNerds  Год назад +1

Good luck with your game! Let me know how it goes.
For CGR I’d recommend killing him. He’s pretty squishy for a 6-threat and will go down if you focus him. If you can’t kill him, stagger him with kingpin and black cat and limit his power gain so he can’t chains of cyttorak too many characters. Stunning can work well on CGR.
Alternatively, going wide and bringing more characters can work against him. CGR can only daze 2 characters a turn if he’s lucky.
Klaw is surprisingly effective against CGR. He has high energy defense and can’t be incinerated by chains of cyttorak.

I have been playing CS for a long time and recently I have put Thanos with the mind and space gem and it seems more than mandatory to take it as well as crimson dynamo to shock and repeat 2 dice, my roster right now is bullseye, taskmaster, hood lizard, rhino, kingpin, shadowland daredevil, crimson dynamo, juggernaut and thanos and I don't see it changing to any of them. and hulk immortal or hulk classic too because only have healthy face.

Can confirm that guaranteed damage from Bullseye is so clutch. Chip damage is king
