    Flipside of:
[6 of the 7 from medley, ‘Decca Revivals No.8’ as re-arranged/performed (PS: in presumably circa mid & late April 1950 for 78rpm DECCA export F.4001)] The Bonnie Banks of Loch Lomond; Comin' Thro' the Rye; Annie Laurie; Auld Lang Syne; Vilia; Smoke Gets in Your Eyes; [from medley, ‘Decca Revivals No.10’] Charmaine; Sally; Diane; Sleepy Time Gal; Chloe; Margie; [from side A of medley D.92] Let Me Remember; Salut St. Marie; How Can I Prove That I Love You - DECCA LF 1026, side 1 - matrix DRL 463-3A

[NB: using 10” vinyl “microgroove” LP containing 1949 through to presumably some 1950 material (mainly of reissues from 1949 to circa early 1950 (based on the matrix nos for the original releases); and with renewed material (from probably 1950 too) for the 1st 6 songs. This pressing is from the mid-1950s, but of a long-running identical manufacture running to circa 1960 from 1950 with different sleeves, e.g. issued in 1950 for the US as LONDON LPS.269.
I guess the promotion of quality like “full frequency” etc. came from the freedom that recording with tape was to bring, but in a way it was a euphemism in replacing the older purer standard of production albeit being a great improvement (and revolutionary tool) of reproduction.
The clarity of these later pressings is indeed substantial for reissues I presume due to being taken from original master tape as opposed to first-hand acetates in different rpm settings (or dubs from such), which I think would be hardly convenient. So, again as per my previous postscript for the preceding 45 rpm upload, is it really worth it: to regenerate the crackle-free condition for hearing that albeit ‘full-frequency’ master tape rather than the actual first-hand sound that earlier record production had brought us?
A single side gives 2.5x (5x in total) more than a conventional shellac disc of the same size. Again, like previous upload with the DECCA 45 rpm discs, there’s a detailed waveform repair for the first half minute or more then onto a purely broad visual sift for the rest this morning (phew! Therefore I imagine that a detailed repair on this entire record (both sides) would take 48hrs continuous or basically 1 week’s work. This volume is widely available in multiple formats remastered, so there’s maybe not much point in making the effort for a crackle-free copy unless there’s merit in providing a digitized rendition of this medium/format for comparisons. I will leave the next side entirely raw to allow for an immediate comparison without any degree of waveform repair.
    Uploaded 10 Sep 2021 between 1.21pm and 1.27pm]

I had a look at the back sleeve, which prints JU. 54/9 - adjacent to "Printed in England". I presume this was then printed in either Sep or Jul of 1954, and for a presumable '54* pressing (9 being either the date or month; & JU. being either a reference to July or an abbreviation regarding the printer source). [*ps: Tax Code N on the label also signifies (depending on what the previous sleeve print was) that this particular pressing could've began from 15 Apr 1953 onwards according to the "taxing issues" forum thread that I read on discogs.com; there are many other sources too that list these dates or expand on the abbreviations!]

Can you get this on remastered CD or tape
It is good he can play his own style as well as playing like Winifred Attwell

Spotify has these divided in a couple of separate compilations, but both sound like vinyl transfers, so I'm not alone - ha. Discogs shows earlier official LP reissues at www.discogs.com/search/?q=marta+hop+scotch+polka&type=all&type=all

Charlie Kunz was in a class of his own - Magical. But he was lucky in that in his day there were lots of great Songwriters and great songs which we have allowed to slip into oblivion and be replaced by primitive sounds. Were it not for the wonder of RUclips and Uploaders we wouldn't have this, but when we go, that will be the end of music. It is a long time since it disappeared from Radio Airwaves.

were the tunes actually re - recorded for these LPs , I cannot work out what were recorded by the 1950s actually with LPs in mind, then placed onto the 78 format, then finally as 45s ( earlier for issues exported to the US) in EP and Single format.

I imagine it was a very transitional time, going into the tape mastering era. Not to re-record (unless maybe if mx nos vary, which would be rare), but actually engineer; and later are even remasters in stereo-only from the EMI 3 vol set circa 1970, which I would like to add soon here to compare!

@@micksayers1 you can read them off the label. I have not looked at the LPs as I am working through the issue of the EPs in UK and USA and UK 78s of "D" numbered Medleys
