Oh yessssss, could you come over and paint a wall at my home in indigo with that pearl gold glazing ... the pearl gold makes everything look shiny and sexy indeed 🤩🥰🤩! And some ginko stenciling on top ... drop-dead gorgeous! Thank you, Jackie, for this visual ASMR video from your magic studio. It was soooo tingly ☺! Looking forward to what you're about to create with the gold paste paper! Aloha from Berlin ❤🧡💛💚💙💜
Experimental Sunday with Jackie! Heart, what more do you want?! I can really understand, that your heart is attached to the beautiful papers you harvested. Bravo Jackie! 💥💖🥳
Thank you LN - I appreciate you're kind words. I've been adding in some of my pieces here an there, and will show more in the coming year. Thanks for your interest. 🥰
Thank you Jackie 🙏🏻 These are beautiful and love seeing the play of light with metallics, stunning as always 🤩 Please share how you may use the textured ginkgo/geometric piece and the other pieces for later art work 🙏🏻, it would be a wonderful follow up to this glimmering inspirational video 😍🤩😍 🙏🏻💖🙏🏻
Yes, I love the 'bumper sticker' idea... or since everyone wears T-shirts, you could do a 'painterly' shirt with swipes of Metalic with that signage. 🙂@@PaintedPaperStudio
These are gorgeous. I ran to my craft room straight after watching your metallic video last time and had so much fun creating metallic pages in my sketch book. Now I want to go do it all again. :) There is something luxurious about the finished piece when you work with metallics. Thasnk you for the inspiration. :)
Beautiful papers! I’ve been wanting to try the interference paint & now I’m inspired. Have u tried Goldens fluid copper? I think u would love it. Almost as good as gold. Thanks for ur videos. I appreciate & enjoy them.
Hi Kathleen, I've used them in several videos. If you go into the playlist section of my channel and click on the "What to do with Your Painted Papers," and the "Mixed Media Collage" playlists, you'll see the papers being used. 🥰
Hi Charlotte! The pearl gold is so special. Nova Color paints (and mediums) are available worldwide via international shipping. They are a very interesting company as they only have one store location, and they do not sell through any external retailers. This keeps their prices incredibly low, even when shipping across the pond. I am not affiliated with Nova Colors at this point, but if they ever wanted to partner with me, I'd do it in a heart beat 😂 🥰
Thank you, Robin - you're right it was not in there. The paste is called Lunar Paste (here's a link to it amzn.to/3VoUvwr). You definitely can make your own texture paste, but it would be really hard to get the same level of reflective gold as you do with lunar paste. 🥰
Jackie, would you mind sharing the source for the stencils storage book that was shown at the beginning of the video? I have tried so many different storage methods and still haven't found the right one! Might as well try another! I have several hundred stencils but return to some more often than others so a "stencil album" or 2 might work for those and the rest can remain in file boxes.
Jackie, what's your experience with newsprint in collage longterm? Someone was saying to me that it might yellow and disintegrate over time. Would paint/medium stabilize it?
Ute - you ask a great question! The oldest newsprint I have that I painted on is 7 years old. It is intact, but it's so covered in acrylic paint I don't know if the paper itself has yellowed. I assume that it would have yellowed if any of the paper was exposed. Your friend is right - newsprint is not archival, it will (most likely) yellow and fall apart over time. I would never use it in an "important" piece, or if selling an original. No amount of paint or medium will stabilize newsprint, but it could hold up for a very long time if embedded in medium - just not centuries. If you wonder why I use it all, it's because it's cheap and I can experiment to my heart's content without worrying that I'm "wasting" money. I hope this answers your questions, and thank you for being here! 🥰
Hi Sharon! Did I not explain that in the video? I apologize. Interference paints are acrylic paints that are translucent, and completely change the color of what they go over. For example, if you paint Violet interference paint over a dark background, it will change the background to a dark shimmery purple. They are very cool to use. I'll do another video that features interference paints in the future. Thank you for watching 😀

Thank you very much, Sue - I'm glad you enjoyed it. 😀
I love your painted paper. I have made tons of paper but would love to see the art you make from them.

I love playing with paper. I was wondering if you had any videos of you creating with these papers. I would love to see what you make with them.
Hi Helen, I do have a few videos of me using the paper, and a bunch more coming up in 2024. Thank you so much for watching 🥰
So beautiful!!

Absolutely STUNNING! I work a lot with metalics... they just class up everything! 🙂
I agree 100% - metallics make a difference! (That would be an awesome bumper sticker! 😂)

You have made my day. I have to make my own gel mat and get paper. I’m a convert.
That makes me so happy to hear! Now go and play 🥰

Thank you, Mary. I haven't tried the fluid copper yet, but you can bet it just went on my list! 😍
I would love to see what you actually do with these papers. Do you have a demo using them that I could watch?
Hi Kathleen, I've used them in several videos. If you go into the playlist section of my channel and click on the "What to do with Your Painted Papers," and the "Mixed Media Collage" playlists, you'll see the papers being used. 🥰
Link for the stencils? Great papers!
Dian, thank you so much for letting me know that I forgot to link to the stencils. They are at the very top of the supply list now. 🥰
Hi Jackie, can you tell me what that binder is that you have the stencils in? I really need a better way of organizing my stencils.
Wow! I love that Pearl Gold. Does anyone know if Nova Colors will ever be available in the UK? Thank you for another wonderful video ❤

Oh thanks Jackie, I would love to try them. Will check out their shipping. Come on Nova Color, sign Jackie up now! 😁❤
Love these metallics! I don’t see the Gold Texture paste in the description…did you make it yourself?
