I got the 55" version when it first came out & my unit had a lot of screen uniformity issues, some edge bleed, decent brightness and mid contrast. I returned it for the Roku made tv that blew it OUT OF THE WATER in every aspect. Your 85" unit looks incredible though and you got an awesome deal.
Not the TCL Roku version, I'm talking about the Roku Select series. Roku is making their own tv's now & they're great. That what I ended up getting. :) @LosoBanks
Wish people would give some scale to these TVs. When you just see an image of a TV with things around it that you can't gauge their size then it doesn't really give you a good estimate of how big it will actually be/look in your own room.

Great price! A steal at that size and size does matter. Better to have an entry level TV than an OLED 55". Size will also give you more brightness. Enjoy!

Same! Did you figure out the brightness? It seems kind of low brightness, but it doesn't matter how much i tweak the settings. It keeps looking low brightness to me

@@Korenstein1 you know I've been having a real hard time trying to get a TV I had two TVs and they just had real bad experience with both of them one came defective and then another one was came cracked of the same TV I'm looking at this one I know it's not $120 hurts but my question is does this play good for movies for like a movie theater like feel?

Edit: I just went to Best Buy to check it out, and was disappointed. The picture was not as clear as I thought it would be and the there was a lot of returns according to the TV guy in that department. He let me connect my phone and it also looked pixelated more than I was comfortable with. We even put on Oppenheimer on 4k and it didn’t look as clear either.
I saw the 85 inch Samsung next to it and it looked way sharper and smoother so I went with that instead.
I mean there is obviously a subtle difference but nothing can beat that quality in that price and size for sure! and for 95% of the people its ideal option.

Just got 85inch at Walmart for $750 (Roku version)
Might well get 100 inch.
Why not a 101 inch? Shoot if you're gonna go 101 inches you might as well look into the 110 incher. But at that point you might wanna consider a 115 inch, but really who wants just 115 inches? get the 120 inch. Actually why ONLY 120 inches? might as well....

It's a TV and 85 inch nobody is gonna play call of duty or anything that needs high refresh rate, racing games will be fine on it but anyone that games now days plays on 24-32 inch monitors

Are you using the original legs/stands or are they aftermarket. I did noticed that the stands are in the middle
With this tv you have a choice to install them in the middle or side by side left corner of the TV and right side corner of the tv.😊
