I love the R7. Tested it at the Canon booth during a frisbee event and the AF was very quick! It locks on to the eye without hassle and the burst aumsss so satisfying.
Simply cannot wait to get this. I think I will pair it with the 100-400(?) like in this video. Will be a nearly perfect all-purpose hiking/birding lens for me
@@TaiwanisMoving I am thinking about this lens, the camera and a tough tripod to carry all that because shooting at 400 from your hand will be more of a miss than a hit. So, hiking and biking is out of the question with this gear but you can try or get much more compact MFT gear for a better price.
Wait, which lenses are compatible with this? I have an EOS 90D, and I don’t think I see the hassle of upgrading. I was always told that “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it.”
@@robertpaws Ha, you know something. The money I earn daily from my work I can hardly spend on food, and there is nothing left of it for the next day. 🙂💔
I've used the 150-600 with the R5, and it didn't perform well. Lots of pulsing and hunting AF. I've found only the Sigma 60-600 Sports to work well with the RF system, out of the 150-600 class of lenses.
Why, can't you carry extra battery's? They are too heavy? For switchinv them is too difficult for you? Also canon has just launched them have they said that they will not launch a bg ever?
@@souptikmukhopadhyay6531 when you're outside taking photos in heat or rain, or high humidity, or covered in dirt and leaves... swapping batteries every 300 photos or so is a pain in the a$$. Also it's a cute little 1.6 crop sensor but the lenses look huge in this presentation. You can get a 2x crop MFT sensor with far smaller and lighter lenses for travel, hiking and bird photos.
@@KamenKunchev last time I checked R7 is cipa rated at 700+ shots... Which means real usage will be even more... Second of all most people don't really shoot in even medium rain or mud splashing situations.... True professionals who will work under such conditions would anyway go for a 1 dx mark iii Or R3 level weather sealing.... Thirdly which lens do you find huge over here... Even the f2.8 lenses are pretty small and light in RF .... Only the RF 100-500 is a bit bigger on this body but also those lenses are very expensive... People who can afford the f2.8 or 100-500 will anyway want a better body like R5 / R6

Don’t expect a battery grip for it. Canon have confirmed they have no plans to make one.
@@stubones I've never actually owned a camera that could use a battery grip. It always felt like a pro thing
Hiking and biking with a huge lens like 100-400mm :) good luck, mate! You won't be hiking and biking too far with this lens.

I would love to own this camera just for its AF and IBIS.
А шо делать с оптикой Canon M ?
I like this one. Send this to me.
Waiting for a miracle.
Why can't my EOS R recieve a firmware update that allows for vehicle and animal priority AF?
Even this video is only in full HD on RUclips.

EF lenses can be adapted to RF with almost no issues.
R7 uses 90D sensor so hold on a while longer.
90D has way more buttons, I dont know why they are taking away buttons on mirrorless cameras

1.6 crop with huge lenses. Get MFT if you want great quality and compact lenses.
