Love the tour as always🌱🌸🪴 Like you I enjoy the roses, I’m coming to the end of feeding them all at the moment all 30+ of them! I have been so lucky as every birthday/christmas/ anniversaries etc I have a DA rose and agree with you Emily Brontë is one of my favourites too, I also have the Geoff Hamilton rose …. stunning and a Beatrix Potter rose also beautiful 🌸which I highly recommend especially for a cottage garden. Hope you’re feeling better and keep doing the videos … so lovely to see your beautiful home and garden. Take care Alison xx
It’s just such a joy to see all your wonderful plants. I can only imagine how beautiful it’s going to be even in a months time. Happy gardening. Love and blessings ❤️❤️❤️
I always enjoy your garden tours Heidi. Good to see that you have Gentle Hermione as I have one in my garden and you don't often see it on RUclips videos. My Honesty that I moved after it had self seeded has taken well. I wondered if it would survive but I made sure that I dug a huge clump of soil with it so that I didn't damage the roots too much. Hope you are okay. x
Hi, new sub. It's lovely to find UK based gardeners. I love to see what ideas I can possibly pinch 😊, though I am in the north. Saying that, my ladybirds are awake. 👍👍👍
Lady birds slowly waking up , most are currently in the house around the windows being relocated to warm green house . Thank you for comment it means a lot x x
Coffee grounds work very well to keep snails and slugs off my plants here in Maryland, USA. I do it every morning! Also, Starbucks here are giving free bags of grounds for gardens 😊😊
I don’t drink enough coffee, I grab a bag from our local tea rooms when they have it to take I also find my hair trimmings work really well chopped up and added to the ground soil
Please would you let us know what washing up liquid with wter you use to spray your roses, as I know that "normal" washing up liquid is not good for the insects, but what you are using is obviously fine? I too spray my roses, as we have very few ladybirds around, if any, here in West Devon, England, in my tiny front garden. xxx
Hello I use Smol products, you can get lots of free samples from them, I have been using for around 5years and love everything they do ,washing up is around a year old and is pink and smells delicious , I have a dishwasher and use the smol tablets the washing up is great but you need a lot on really souled items .
@@Thetudorcottagediaries Thank you for this information, and I have signed up for their washing up liquid, as we are on a filtration system here, so I have to be very careful what I put down the loo and plug holes! xxx
