- When in Texas you gotta go big! And when that breakfast hunger kicks in there is truly no better place to find yourself than in a drive-thru at a Whataburger! Special thanks to my husbands family for letting me spread all of my Whataburger snacks all over their house and film this for you all. I did make sure NOT to shoot this in Matt's mom's car because you know my fast food endeavors find their way into my seats crevices lol!
The last time I was in town, I tried everything on the Whataburger menu for the VERY FIRST TIME and it was so good that I truly have been craving it for YEARS. So, naturally, I had to shoot everything on the Whataburger breakfast menu because Matt has been talking about this Honey Butter Chicken Biscuit since we first started dating over 10 years ago! I have to say, I understand the hype now.

As a former Whataburger employee, Biscuits and gravy & the honey butter were my 2 favorite items on their entire menu.
The biscuits and gravy are my fave. I usually order a side of gravy to eat with my fries when I’m there for lunch or dinner. 🤤 There’s one right down the street from me in Frisco, Tx.
Also the taquitos taste best at 1am. 😂

My husband and I share a jalapeno biscuit breakfast sandwich. The biscuit is tender and flavorful. The egg is always well cooked. I don't even like egg...but it is so good from Whataburger! Glad to see you trying the menu!

I was only introduced to Whataburger in May when my boyfriend moved to KC and I am such a big fan! We love the breakfast burger and their spicy ketchup (it’s not very spicy but it’s with jalapeño and sooo good)! It’s been my go to for a hangover breakfast or a quick last breakfast before I head out of KC… this was so fun to watch!

I just watched this, so I'm late in commenting. I live/work in South Austin and pick up Whataburger most every Thursday morning when I get off work at 230 am on my way home. Most of the time I get the #2 meal with HEAVY tomatoes, pickles and grilled onions with a regular amount of sweet bbq sauce. For my drink, I get Coke Zero, no ice. Sometimes I get the Cobb salad, which is really good. I've had their Whatawings with bbq sauce and buffalo sauce (not together) and their fried fish platter. Both are good, but I like my #2 meal with the free onion rings I get with the points I get using the app. Gotta have the fries and onion rings with their spicy ketchup. I live for their white label limited batch extra spicy ketchup! 😊

When you go to Whataburger, any topping that you can order for your burger, they will put on a toquito for you. I love the raw chopped onions, but they will get picante sauce for you. You can get between 36,000 and 40,000 different combinations on your burger, depending on the location.
Honey butter is the way to go!!!

Hey y’all from Dallas Tx -Honey butter chicken biscuit is sooo addictive. My husband will get the craving and go buy a bag full and eat them for a week. The biscuits and gravy is one of my favorite comfort foods. I used to love their pies but they changed years ago. The Cinnamon roll is not really popular but if you get it fresh early in the morning it’s fantastic.

Hi! There is a museum tour of the Dr pepper in waco texas. If your can sign up early you can make a dr pepper. After the tour you get a free drink. The gift shop is nice.you can get a dr pepper candle and other merch.
Out where I am in NY, we don't have Whataburger, and i"ve never felt compelled to look it up, and now i'm obsessed with wanting to try it! If I do vidsummit next year, I think i might figure out a way to spend a little extra time to be able to dedicate a breakfast to this. Even the pancakes look amazing!

As a lifelong Oregonian who just moved to the Florida panhandle a year ago, I also pronounce it "Whut-a-burger" and not "Waterburger" like the locals! I was super excited to try it for the first time, but I was kind of underwhelmed after all the hype (don't tell my neighbors I said so, it's heresy around here).
The breakfast burger is actually a hamburger patty, not a sausage patty! 😍 I’m not a big fan of sausage, so that’s why I love the breakfast burger so much 🍔
I lived in Austin for nine years and I never understood why my Texan friends pronounced it “wot” because I’m pretty sure it’s supposed to be like… What a burger! But I’m from the Midwest where my people say warsh instead of wash and you betcha… So who am I?😂 I have evolved into more of a sausage girl too Erin! Loved the video 🤍

Whataburger sold out to a Chicago company. So sadly they are not Texan anymore and the flavors have definitely changed. However you can buy their spicy ketchup at HEB and that is a staple in my house.

Yes BUT you have to get them warm and fresh and you have to think of them as a biscuit and not a cinnamon roll, otherwise you'll be disappointed, because they're more of a cinnamon roll biscuit

I haven't had a Whataburger in well a looong time I loved the green chili burgers when I lived in NM. The breakfast food didn't look that grea.
It's a hash brown for breakfast (even the rounds) and a tater tot for lunch/dinner.

Born and raised in Texas here, and I've never referred to them as hash rounds. They're just hash browns, regardless of shape. Fried potato shreds = hash browns. You really don't need to get more specific than that. :D
Technically - most fast food places call them "hash rounds" and it's a trademark usage of the word. I only know because after this debate we went to carls jr and they denote them as "hash rounds!"
