Former McDonald's employee here: my fave was the homestyle quarter pounder with half homestyle mustard, half mayonnaise, cheese, and replace regular pickles with crinkle cut pickles... and no tomatoe. 10/10!

Oat milk is better than real milk and I’ll die on that hill 😂 as someone who used to chug real milk until I realised milk is what made my stomach hate me and had to switch to milk alternatives I can hand on heart say oat milk is the BEST to have in hot and iced drinks 😍

I’ve never related to anything more than the root beer segment. Dr. Pepper is my beverage of choice and nothing drives me crazier than when waiters/waitresses/fast food workers offer root beer as an alternative if they don’t have DP.
Well that is the closest substitute considering they both have anise in it. It would be weird if they're like "we don't have dr pepper, would sprite be okay?" Lol
@@Sammvoy I don't drink soda anymore but growing up, I only drank diet dr pepper. As a server, the drinks are kinda in categories. So coke/Pepsi are regular sodas, there's lemon-lime, dr pepper/root beer. If one is not available, you offer the next in that category. Root beer would be the closest because most places (by me) don't offer cherry anything. As far as flavoring goes, if places didn't have dp my second choices were root beer and cherry coke or whatever they had available that was diet (diabetic, my options were limited). Pepsi is way too sweet to compare to dp which is another reason most people offer root beer instead.

another food option from a starbucks barista is either the double smoked bacon sandwich and ask for a packet of honey, add the honey to the sandwich and oh my god. but also one that you would have to buy two sandwiches and assemble yourself is to put the bacon from the double smoked bacon sandwich and add it to the grilled cheese, that also hits. and for the drink, get a grande iced matcha latte with oatmilk and 2 or 3 pumps of chai
I don’t remember if you liked the chestnut praline latte but try that with almond milk this winter, it gives it a little something extra. The only drink I get with “not milk”

Hah! I was going to suggest you do a video of subscriber menu items next... and then I read the video description! We don't have as many restaurant options where I live, so I usually only have BK or McD's as an option. Most other places are an hour's drive. I heard there's a Chik-fil-a about 90 minutes west of here on the interstate... Due to that, my go-to for the drive-thru window is usually a Burger King fish sandwich (add cheese, no pickle), and onion rings (with the tangy sauce). (It's much better than McD's fish sammich btw! I got that once... never again) If I'm really treating myself, I'll add a chocolate shake. It doesn't go with the fish at all, but I absolutely love it because shakes are for the inner child.

I'm not a coffee drinker but back when I worked nights there was a Starbucks right next door and sometimes I really needed it to get me through that last half of my shift so I would ALWAYS just ask the employees at Starbucks what THEY usually get cause I didn't care, I just needed coffee

I'm not a coffee drinker but back when I worked nights there was a Starbucks right next door and sometimes I really needed it to get me through that last half of my shift so I would ALWAYS just ask the employees at Starbucks what THEY usually get cause I didn't care, I just needed coffee

@@ErinRobinson I liked them well enough, but to be honest coffee drinks to me range on a scale of "this tastes like straight coffee" and "this tastes slightly less like coffee" haha so I'm not the best judge on them taste wise but it's always fun to see how other people like their coffee
