  • This is a tutorial to show you how I make my black metal business card collages using my two xTool lasers, an F1 and an S1 40w.
    After following this tutorial you should be able to let your imagination run free and make your own great wall art.

    Thank you for this video. I will be trying to do it this weekend. I am just starting out in my laser journey, and learning something new everyday. I have a 2wIR/20w S1 and a P2 so a little bit of tweaking. But your video is perfect for getting me started. Thank you

    Fantastic,this is amazing and a really good workflow
    I have the S1 40w looks like I now need to buy an f1 😂

      You can engrave using the S1 40w, but won't be as fast as the F1 .... And you would need to test your settings 👍

    Amazing!! 🌟What setting would you use for vector engraving on the F1 ???

      The key is to test because every material is different, environmental conditions are different even the machine is different.
      I didn't create these collages with a setting supplied by others, I had to run tests.
      Trust me, you will learn your machine faster if you spare some time for testing 👍👍

    Great video but im use tv as monitor and gimp UI is so tiny I cant use it. i trie preferences changed ta few things but still the sam e un usable wich si a shame wished tit worked on tv as a monitor. if you know of anyway to get it to a normal size screen that would be really helpful thanks

      it wont install the plugin either having right issues here lol must be an easier way than this lol

      ok so i got it to work in a fashion the UI is nothing like yours though must of been an update. even the split rows and the export is different its all in the file tab and looks totally different .. UI is still tiny but got it to import into XCS ok and build t together now to test print it

      @@magic1ndscan only comment on my own setup as all computers are different, but I have found I had to play around with GIMP to display ok on my laptop

      @@Piginhatwoodcrafts yeah i made it came out ok but was so tiny I could hardly see also the UI was so different none n the same menues etc but I did find in other menu sections odd that the UI is so different though that's why use photoshop mainly but yeah all good just painful program lol
