The redstone fields. One place I was sure I lost to time. And yet, one I still remembered in my search for me and my friend's legacy. It truly was spectacular. The TNT cannons, the glitched dispenser guns, the music boxes. Everything was still there. As I near the end, I spot a lone sign. And then my heart stops for a moment. The answer I've been looking for. A discord my friend Red left behind. Would she even remember who I am? Would Angel and Neon be there too? As I type in the numbers and letters, I can feel the anticipation rise, until it is finished. I take a moment, and send the friend request, and now I wait. It seems I'll finally have that final walk through the garden after all.
you've mined quite deep underground. you found ravines and found the ore youve been looking for. it seems that the ore leads you to another ore, oh hey that one too, and that one also! and is that a mine shaft? you lost track of your primary goal. your inventory is full and cant afford to lose the items by potential lava and poisonous cave spiders. so you trail your way back home, following the torches youve left behind.
and then you get lost no, you aren't lost! there are torches right there! have i been here before? huh. i better leave something, but i have 12 diamonds, i can't lose them!
I got griefed on multiplayer and it auto-saved, I spent 3 years working on that world. One day I got a friend who found the guy, I asked my friend for revenge, and made a plan. I pretended I was my friend's cousin and went into the griefer's world, he didn't remember me, but I did. I took all his chest stuff and threw it into the lava, then I blew up his buildings. I was feeling really angry, so I hung all his pets above a pit of lava while they were mining. Needless to say, he screeched.
I have had a lot of memories of this spectacular game, but one strikes me from my past with this song. I remember when I was young I wanted to have a world I could build on day by day, but I had no idea where to start. So I asked the wisest person I know, my father. I popped the question “What should I build Dad? It can be anything in a city.” He replied “A football field.” I wasn’t much of a builder back then, and I was only a child, but you can bet that football field was built. But this was only merely the beginning to one of my dreams that actually got caught by reality. Sure enough, day by day, for three years I added, managed, and loved this world. I had let a plethora of characters enter this world, and I let the ones I trusted build a house on a plot of their chose, then one day, one final day in the third year of my worlds life. I had started to work on a whole new sector of my city, which now stretched across four large chunks. There sprouted large, tall, and what I thought sturdy buildings. I could see the world of lights from the new desert sector, at this point I had gotten pretty good at building, and to see this living image of mine, and my friends progression through this game was magical. I felt so happy building my eleven house in the new sector, occasionally looking over, then a familiar group of characters joined my xbox world, which was open to all. So I kept building, and building, then I heard a noise that struck me through my skin and bones straight to my heart. Explosions, burning, water, and everything that spelt G R I E F in between. I ran from the new sector through the highway, past the prison, past the jail, past the courthouse, and past my good friends house, but as I turned the corner the calamity was already set in place. Two of them left the game, but the other three decides to stay and fight, I fought them, and with my far greater experience with this game, I won. They left one by one after death. But the war was just beginning. I ran into the city putting out as much as I could, stopping clocks from setting off blobs of TNT, I had also seen someone had a hidden chest in one of their plots under the carpet. It was filled to the brim with everything that causes destruction, I left in anger, and finally I realized everything was burning down, I climbed the tallest building (The Great Office.) and looked down at the dismay and carnage. It was all gone and auto saved. But just as I was filled with hurt, something caught my eye. It was where it all started, the football stadium. It had been untouched thankfully. Also thanks to my past self I went down to the field and went into the middle, and just pondered with my thoughts until I collected them. It was one of the saddest days I have ever experienced in Minecraft, but also just in any game, and just I was about to log off, Aria Math, by C418 started to play. Something in the song compelled me to stop myself and cherish what truly mattered. The stadium, the stadium my wisest man suggested I built. This game is truly benevolent, and I still play it today, only difference now is on PC. I hope to post videos on my channel soon. Hope any readers enjoyed this story, thank you if you made it to the end. :)

“Alright my wolfs, see you during tomorrows adventure!” I remember this day forever, its no memory, its the legend of my wolves. My ipad mini ceased working this day. I wonder if they miss me, sitting in my houses main room. Whining in lament, wondering if their owner will ever return. Im sorry, will you ever forgive me?
I think one of the saddest things that ever happened to me is when I got a new iPad and a few of my worlds didn’t transfer...I’m sorry my 3 dogs and cats that are waiting in my cabin by the lake...I’ll never see you again :(
This is basically like an advent calendar with these beautiful pieces pretty much every day. What do we get from it? Past memories and lots of tears. Quick edit: every 3 days but oh well it feels like everyday because I can't stop listening to them
This one this one hits hard I remember my ps3 world i had a subway a hotel and 3 mansions built and a few other things i left a friend on the world while i went to get dinner and when i came back the world was flooded, blown up and lava everywhere the game autosaved so everything is gone when i saw that my world had been griefed this song played and i was very angry. And sad as all was lost those were my final days of ps3 minecraft
I miss my ps3. I'm sry for your loss. Betrayal is horrible. Losing a world that u spent so much time on...thats the worst and only minecrafters will understand the pain. This song is very sad too. I remember this song always played during night-time while I was building a wood house....the good old days when Minecraft was simple. We're all here together 😔✊
I remember building a world with my brother. We were on creative and we built houses and statues. We lived in a desert biome and we had everything. That was 2 years ago. My brother asks me to play sometimes. Sometimes I say yes other times I say no. This song makes me wanna play with him again. I miss that old world, but at least I still have the memories
God I remember this song coming on in my best friends world on his 360. Id go to his house after school every day. We had 2 dogs. Max and gracie. We had this huge wooden house that we thought was really cool at the time, even tho it was just a giant box. I even had a pet pig I'd ride around on and he thought it was hilarious. Wed raid dungeons together and die and lose all our stuff. Ahh good times. I havent talked to him in probably 5 years. We should really hang out again some time...
@@wowowypher my mom said shes seen him working at the publix down the road from my house. Ima try and see him there so I can get his number or something.
These songs are a treasure, bringing us back to when times were simple. Everything has an end, but don’t be sad about that. Everyone places their last block one day
The only reason why I believe I’m still a good person is because I protect the villagers and I actually get sad when one of my cats dies. RIP Donut. Gone but never forgotten
You first spawn in near a village by a green pasture. You decide to build your house there and live among the villagers, swearing to protect them. You begin to build torches to keep monsters away from the village, and then it is time to start building protective barriers. Your wall is under construction, your torches are being placed, but it is too late. Zombies and skeletons have overrun the village you are staying in, slaughtering the villagers one by one, converting them into zombie villagers. Your iron golem is killed, and you start to sob, “I have failed them.” You are alone in your village in the wake of it’s destruction. After mourning the losses and constructing gravesites for the fallen. You take a glance towards the pasture, cows and pigs roaming with a magnificent sunrise covering the land. You feel something, you feel hope. Hope that you can carry on the legacy of your villagers.
@@tobari wow, that other guy just flipping made you feel bad. But, he does have a point though, I mean, you did use "lol," which is pretty cringe, ngl.
This one in particular broke me. This song holds so many memories and emotions that hearing it like this really puts me in a different place. Thanks for your work, and for allowing me a chance to relive some of my happier moments.
Isn't it weird how we all are united by a fragment of our memory when we really don't even know each other. It feels like a strange connection between all our childhood memories and somehow we all are linked together but exist as strangers. Minecraft isn't just a game; Thanks you Notch!

Your Name... It reminds me of.. Me and my friend talking on "Skype" Creating our first world.. Not knowing how to craft... All of these... Are just memories... *You* bringed back to *us*
This is exactly what I’ve been looking for as one of those nostalgic Minecraft sound track videos. Although this song in the sound track isn’t as old as the alpha sound track, it still has so many memories of when I played creative with friends, on servers that are now gone, with people that I’ll never see again. This theme goes through different stages, it seems very chill at first and slow, then reminds me of Africa and jungles, then I hear some kind of old Japanese. I think this song is a masterpiece by C418. I’m sure there’ve been people who miss this song but can’t remember the name, having good memories of plain old Minecraft. And even though creative is still fun, the memories I’ve created in it years ago will never be the same as memories I create today. Thanks for uploading this, I obviously felt nostalgia.
Coming home from school on Friday. I survived another day of bullying and judgmentality. I am lonely. I am alone. All I have for companionship: cubic wolves and villagers. Maybe I can't control the real world, but I can live the life I want in here. In Minecraft. The first game to ever truly understand. To ever truly give. To ever take the internal torment away.
i had an old minecraft world once, i made it in 2013 i only played in creative mode so i knew this song too well one day my laptop got a virus and i had to get a new one i never saw that world again
i listen to aria math AT LEAST once per day, usually being when i sleep or wake up. it brings me a sense of peace, reminds me of either the day to come or the journey that has been had that day. i usually think of a sunrise or sunset as this plays, much alike when this song would play in minecraft. it just brings me an odd sense of “journey” in a way if that makes any sense. whatever you are aria math, you inspire me. i feel a sort of purpose when i hear you.
Even though this song never played while being in survival mode or was even included until 1.7, this song had its way of making me feel compelled to build and remember the things I have built in the past. Just by listening to all the creative mode songs, it can inspire a lot of creativity.
One night, she sat with Steve on the grass of a small hill nestled in the gardens. "Do you see that planet up there?" Steve asked, pointing up into the star-filled sky. _Jupiter_ , she thought wistfully. She had seen it nearly every night when no other planets or stars were visible. She could almost always see Jupiter shining through. "When I was up in the city," he said, "I couldn't see most of the stars because of the lights of the city. And I always imagined it was you." For a long time, she did not move or speak. She just let the moment flow around them and through them, his words, his tone of voice, his presence sitting beside her. She had never felt so deeply calm in all her life. And she wondered what could ever disturb that calm. "It seems like we have to keep fighting these battles to stay together," she said. "And we'll keep fighting them," he said. A few more seconds passed, and then he added, "You _know_ why I came back to the farm by the lake that night, right?" Alex's heart began to pound in her chest. "I think I do," she said, feeling as if her lips were suddenly going dry. "I came back because I wanted to be with you, Alex," he said, "I didn't care about anything else." She smiled, letting the words sink into her soul. She put her arm around him and rested her head gently against his chest. "I love you, Steve," she whispered. "I love you too, Alex," he whispered in return.
I've had many memories with minecraft but this one is just special... So me along with two friends started a world named 'C' on my old PS3 and it was a sleepover so we played straight for 3 days...we then went onto creative mode and did a loooot of stuff like built railways, big nether portals, villages, houses and all, we played and played and the world progressed but not that much. Next week I had to shift places and it was like 400 miles away. So summer holidays were gonna start in a month and I decided to hop on the world and I played for 6-7 hours everyday the whole month creating many structures, castles, kingdoms, and what not so that I could show those two friends the C world ...it happened but the motive was not to show that to my friends..this world left me with a far far greater memory to cherish...all the time I spent in the C world it's like my second home. Sadly the world was sooo huge that my PS3 could no longer run the game properly. I now have a ps4 and a great PC but I have lost the disc to transfer the world's... hopefully one day I can hop onto F world again and lay eyes on that 4 year old world🙂
"But there are times it is sad, in the long dream. It creates worlds that have no summer, and it shivers under a black sun, and it takes its sad creation for reality."
I still find it fun, but just not the same kind of clueless fun. I grew up with this game and have been playing it for over forever now. But it’s not the same feeling anymore. I actually got good at the game and got into modding and stuff like that and it’s not bad, but just different
This song always reminds of the time me and my brother built a giant treehouse. It was huge. We worked so hard on it. We built many different rooms for each of us, and we had pets running all over the house. Those were the glory days...
this is my favorite song out of the OST and I am very glad this exists. I know I'm almost a year late, but it is so calming and beautiful, I couldn't not comment
I remember when I was building a house with 2 floors on a Mesa mountain in creative and Aria Math with Blind Spots started to play... I nearly cried even if I didn't had any memories about the songs, but now I have some... God, I'm happy that I recreated the world at 5 am after the original was deleted 1 or 2 years ago
I didnt liked the new versions of minecraft once i got back into the game. It just wasn't the same and now im here playing the version on my dusty playstation 3. I nearly cried once the first song started playing, it was this song. I changed into creative because i just wanted to admire not only the game but the era and friends i made while playing this legendary piece of art. Im just happy it happened and glad i witnessed this golden era of minecraft.
We were playing on our ps3 minecraft world. Me, and some of my friends (closest friends). I think that was like 2013, or even earlier. We had very large city, that we build on creative mode. The buildings weren't the highest or the most beautiful, but we liked it, beacuse we made it by our own. City was getting larger, with everyday passed. We waited for everybody to be online. That one notification was making us very happy. That one, witch says that someone is online. We helped each other with almost everything, by giving some tips, helping filling the floor with blocks, etc. One day, one of our friend (he was my personal best friend) announced, that he will get ps4. Everyone was happy... except me. I mean, I was happy, beacuse he will get better console, but that means he will leave us. And unfortunally, he left. We had each other on skype, but that wasn't the same. We couldn't play minecraft together. My pc couldn't play minecraft. Half year after he left, we lost contact with almost everybody. But the saddest thing was that i even lost contact with my best friend, and the save file with our city was corrupted and deleted. I felt empty inside. Sometimes, when i looked at his profile, at our old messages, old photos of our tv's taken by phone (you can call it screenshots) and the information: "Last seen 3 years ago", I cried, and i couldn't stop. I missed these days, where everything was simple, and friend we're together... One day, i finally found my best friend, but he wasn't the same person. He changed a lot since our last conversation. I'm trying nw to talk with him, about our old minecraft city, about our old friends, about everything, that we build together, about our adventures... He just doesn't feel the same energy as me. What about others? With most of them i lost contact. Fev of them changed that much, that they don't want to talk about old times, by calling it "cringe". With only one I'm playing sometimes. If he will ever read this, I want to tell you that I'm thankful, that you stayed with me. I'll try to never lose you again. And to my best friend, that I spend more than 300 hour on minecraft, I want to tell you that... You will still be my best friend, no matter what
I came back to this song for the nostalgia. I remember playing with my dad as a kid. When we played minecraft together this song always played. It was many years ago aince the last time and i always need to cry when i remember those times..
Back when I played minecraft with my sister, ah yes, good times. I built so much stuff. I once built a working TV out of redstone, talented and one with the redstone I was. It wasn't an actual TV, the only shows it played was a witch killing a villager, or a pig walking around with a skeleton. I remember tricking my sister to believing Herobrine is real with my wicked redstone intelligence and fast clicking of the invisible mode button. That was fun.
I still play Minecraft, so why is this making me sad? Is it because my first world was flooded? Is it because I don’t really play Minecraft with my brother anymore? Is it because my best world was lagged and burned? Just listening to this, all these great memories are flooding back to me...
Its been years.. Im the only one that's left in my bf's minecraft server. One by one, slowly fading, there is no one that will come back. Getting busy, getting more responsibilities, college, jobs, etc. We had much fun my friends, i think its time to close the book...
I used to play Quacktopia (just creative with other ppl) when I was younger and I remember always staying up late round 2-3am building something with a friend and hearing this, both really sad and calming but it’s one of my favourites to this day
I like everything about this one. The sort of unnerving picture with it and the music makes me feel a little on edge like I’m running away from home and know I could never go back
The amount of times I have cried listening to the Minecraft soundtrack this year is unreal. I never thought I could get so sad over a game, but its not just a game. It is my childhood. A lot of people don't remember their childhood because it was difficult or bad, but mine was different. I grew up playing video games all of the time, Minecraft was on the first games I started to play a lot. On my Dad's android slide phone(can't remember the name of it) I used to play Minecraft: Pocket Edition(Lite). I used to go to my local library just to play Minecraft when my mom didn't let me. The countless hours I poured into this one game was so worth it, it made who I am today. Those countless hours were so enjoyable and fun playing single-player or playing on Hunger Games on whatever server with friends. Getting those amazing wins in hunger games felt different. It shaped my views on things. I always will have a special place in my heart for Minecraft. I seriously never stopped playing Minecraft, I have been playing it as long as I found it when I was 6 or 7. I will never forget how much a 20$ game made me so happy, sad, angry, and just so excited. I experienced so many different emotions playing the game, but in the end, I was always happy no matter what. I need to never forget about this game, I will make sure the future generations will still be playing this amazing endless sandbox game. I don't want the amazing feeling I had playing Minecraft to end, it needs to never end. (YES I DID JUST CRY FOR AN HOUR)
One day minecrafy will get it's final update. And on that day, it's journey as the best game will finally come to an end.... This is why I don't want the future to happen. Who else wishes they were children, with their loving family, as a small child with no worries.... Who misses the good ol' days?
Reminds me of the times I started building my city on PS4 console edition and then this would start playing..so much nostalgia..luckily the world is still with me after being converted to bedrock edition
This radiates looking for home base in a forest at night, trying to not get killed by mobs after spending too long in the mines vibes. That shit scared me back then.

I have had a lot of memories of this spectacular game, but one strikes me from my past with this song. I remember when I was young I wanted to have a world I could build on day by day, but I had no idea where to start. So I asked the wisest person I know, my father. I popped the question “What should I build Dad? It can be anything in a city.” He replied “A football field.”
I wasn’t much of a builder back then, and I was only a child, but you can bet that football field was built.

Your iron golem is killed, and you start to sob,
“I have failed them.”
You are alone in your village in the wake of it’s destruction. After mourning the losses and constructing gravesites for the fallen. You take a glance towards the pasture, cows and pigs roaming with a magnificent sunrise covering the land. You feel something, you feel hope. Hope that you can carry on the legacy of your villagers.

To ever take the internal torment away.

i listen to aria math AT LEAST once per day, usually being when i sleep or wake up. it brings me a sense of peace, reminds me of either the day to come or the journey that has been had that day. i usually think of a sunrise or sunset as this plays, much alike when this song would play in minecraft. it just brings me an odd sense of “journey” in a way if that makes any sense. whatever you are aria math, you inspire me. i feel a sort of purpose when i hear you.
And I always imagined it was you."
For a long time, she did not move or speak.
A few more seconds passed, and then he added, "You _know_ why I came back to the farm by the lake that night, right?"
Alex's heart began to pound in her chest.

Oh shit, here we block again...

theres something about building something in creative and this song playing that relaxes me to the point i tear up from memories
You will still be my best friend, no matter what
Ahh. When I finished my school of sheep this song played.

Thanks, very *_EPIC_*
When i was a kid i was always scared at this. And now, im crying.

Me and my best friend would always wake up hella early in the morning just to play minecraft together..
Time really flies by, doesn't it
One day minecrafy will get it's final update. And on that day, it's journey as the best game will finally come to an end.... This is why I don't want the future to happen.
