Pitch tracking may be problematic in some cases, depending on the goal: Tonal music or not ?
But not only : it determines how several VCOs "live" together. (yes, mostly VCO, but also VCF and all module with 1V/Oct input, ok...)
Most of the time, I like when it's a bit detuned, or even completely out of tune. Because it becomes full of life.
But for those times when good tracking is needed, there is a good too: The KLAVIS CALTRANS.
Four FONITRONIK not well calibrated are used for this demo.
