I love the way Freddy asks his questions. He seems so innocent and curious; it’s like you can hear a child asking the exact same questions in the exact same way. The child’s spirit that possesses Freddy is so present in this tape. There’s some really great detail in these videos!
In the beginning, when he almost falls into the room trying to push open the door, when he looks at the door, you can almost see him thinking: oh wait, this isn’t open enough. The nudge with his hand to fully open the door is actually a very human detail, and puts more life and character into him.

The fact Freddy sounds like a kid, and the fact that it's just a repeat, and his tone never changes until the "Why are you hiding?" line. It sent shivers up my spine. Like a kid who's body is way too heavy for them to control. The way he slumps against the door, and hesitates before pushing it open with the back of his hand gives him so much life, yet seems to drain it out of him at the same time. The design is so life-like and cutesy, yet also terrifying in some way, like how you've come to love famous mascots, but wouldn't want to come too close. He sounds genuinely concerned, but seeing this huge, heavy, suit of metal clunk it's way towards you gives you the impression he isn't quite showing the truth to you. Genuinely, this scared me. And it's broad daylight. Props to you.
100% agree, this is the only vhs tape kinda vid i can remember where it actually scared me without even jumpscares, seeing him peeking thru the door and the “watcha doin” genuinely gave me chills
The way Freddy asked his questions is kinda wholesome. He asks them like a child I would know. Always wanting to know everything and seeing what you’re doing and being curious. I don’t know if Foxy/Fritz killed the person who was recording but I had a feeling Freddy didn’t want Foxy to do whatever he was gonna do.
This is really terrifying. But if you look at it differently, it’s kinda sad. I like to think this is when the first five kids were killed and recently given ‘life’, they are unaware of what they are, and still think they look like any normal child. The kid possessing Freddy is genuinely wondering why someone is hiding from him, hence the “whatcha doin?” and “why are you hiding?” Perhaps the child in foxy is hiding because he hasn’t seen himself and is scared too or maybe he thinks he’s playing too.
Thing about Scott is that as a single creator i assume these things would be far too difficult to animate,, now Steelwool on the other hard i think COULD actually make them THIS creepy because there was footage of the characters in security breach having clear movement

this one genuniely seems so wholesome rather than scary. he seems so sweet. even the foxy jumpscare was just next to us, not like looking scary or lunging. i love it so so sooooo much
The fact that you guys can make something so creepy but so amazing is just so amazing. You can really feel the child in Freddy and him acting like a child being curious and worried is so amazing, and when you can feel the disturbance in the video. Well done.
I’d like to imagine that these are the actual kids talking and trying to get help, but end up scaring and accidentally killing people they talk to. Or think they’re killling the purple guy (or something afton. I don’t remember his name)
Fantastic movements! This video gives them an almost child like personality, which fits the whole thing of them being possessed by the spirits of children!
I can see that, and also them questioning why are you scared or hiding from me since they don’t know how terrifying it is for animatronics to chase after them and kill them and the security guards not knowing that they are possessed as well.
Out of all videos. This one by far is my favorite. The "Why are you hiding?" Is soo freaking good I love it. I literally have it stuck in my head repeatedly with his voice it's just awesome.
I swear, everything up until the 30 second mark PERFECTLY captured what a nightmare feels like. I could totally picture myself having a nightmare ending like 0:29 with me waking up in a cold sweat. And the “whatcha doin’?” part is just so damn dread inducing. Some other comments pointed out how Freddy just LOCKS eye contact and barely moves like a predator watching it’s prey, kind of triggering a primal fear, and how it makes you feel completely at his mercy and unable to reason with him, and they got it dead on. Honestly, if that little shift at 0:17 hadn’t been there and he just said the line while staying dead still I swear my blood would’ve run cold.
I think the shift there does make it more logical though. The animatronics wouldn't be programmed to stay dead still, they'd shift idly so they don't seem so unnatural, but normally they'd already be looking around or talking or whatever else most of the time. When he stands still, the movement is intended to mimic the fidgeting and whatnot that people or animals would do while not doing anything else, but when he's not doing that, he's unnaturally still yet still has an appearance of being active and alive. That's what makes it more terrifying - it's mimicking life, but it in no way is achieving it.
now that you said it, it really makes sense, my cat usually stares at her "prey" with a very strong lock, like she is really trying to kill anything with her eyes alone lmao
Oh my god this tape is so good. “Whatcha doin?” While doing there’s “HERES JOHNNY” door thing is just like my brother and he’s so childlike, and him repeating the questions. They’re innocent, too, but seeing this burly, probably 6ft, definitely stronger then u, bear animatronic ask you this has to be some level of terrifying. And when you turn and just see Foxy smiling. It’s great, because I can totally imagine them doing all this as children. When they’re human, it’s totally ok, maybe a tad spooky to get jumpscared by a child in Foxy’s position, but innocent nonetheless. But when they’re animatronics, it’s extremely unnerving, or flat out scary. And the way he pushed the door and looked at it, then goes back to his “What’chu doin?” is perfect, this whole tape is perfect. Love it so much I can’t stop rewatching this. Going through the comments and watching this video is so addicting
Freddy was either plotting to kill us when he got close or he was actually concerned. i cannot tell bc the line is so blurred here. this is still gold n creepy as fuck. great job
I don’t think the bear or whatever his name is is understands that he is actually afraid of HIM, the bear that walked in. So he questions “why are you hiding?” Cause he’s confused and maybe wants to help him out but again the person under the table is afraid of the bear and thinks it’s here to attack or maybe even kill him.

The fact that Freddy looking around the room for other kids and the 'Whatcha doin' and 'Why are you hiding' are probably programmed into him for when kids play hide and seek, intended to be completely innocent, but because of the circumstances it's absolutely Terrifying
How would they program him to do that with a computer? He's powered by air, I'm not sure if he has electrical wires to allow him to do that, because how else would he choose to walk (just my guess

Those are actually the mech heads from Showbiz Pizza/early 90's Chuck E Cheese. The masks even look similar to the Chuck E Cheese style.
@@bigzeke7431 I love the FNAF art style. But it doesn’t really look like any actual animatronics. Especially in the later games. But making it look so close to the real deal makes it so scary.
@@turntechgodhead1268 Yeah. Though I will say this. When Chuck E Cheese went with that mask style, they were using different mechs underneath.
It's still an interesting nod to the OG real life animatronics though. FNAF has actually made me love real life animatronics even more than I did when I was a kid.
Yea, if you look at the heads it's identical almost. Besides the bodies
@@bigzeke7431 it's clear the face designs are based off the rock afire explosion, infact the mechanism on the side had a rock afire head.

I totally love this tape. It's so realistic. It's terrifying. The voices are so well done that you feel like it's really coming from a robot that found you and you know it won't end well. The designs are done so well that Scott Cawthon himself would use them for his game.

The thing that makes this even scarier is the fact that someone is actively holding the camera.
Honestly, if that little shift at 0:17 hadn’t been there and he just said the line while staying dead still I swear my blood would’ve run cold.
nah more like: what’s the wifi password?
@Милош Ђошић you have games on your phone
I I need them so shadow freddy and endo can shut up
I think the shift there does make it more logical though.
Foxy staring at me at the last second scared the holy loving shit out of me
EXACTLY!! I WAS WAITING FOR FREDDY TO DO SOMETHING AND FOXY JUST SAID, "Peek-a-boo, bitch🙃"
It's the only thing in the video that got a reaction out of me.
Same and I was so terrified when they gave Freddy Sentience.
Fred was looking for foxy
I hope you get your shit back. amen
Love it so much
I can’t stop rewatching this. Going through the comments and watching this video is so addicting
Freddy was either plotting to kill us when he got close or he was actually concerned. i cannot tell bc the line is so blurred here. this is still gold n creepy as fuck. great job
he seems to be nice as he has no visible joy from the situation
i trust no freddy band member
I don’t think the bear or whatever his name is is understands that he is actually afraid of HIM, the bear that walked in. So he questions “why are you hiding?” Cause he’s confused and maybe wants to help him out but again the person under the table is afraid of the bear and thinks it’s here to attack or maybe even kill him.

I haven’t been scared or uncomfortable from watching or playing a scary video game in a long time. This made me so uncomfortable and genuinely terrified. Props to you man.
I thought animatronics only attack the employees and not the kids? Cause the kids are the job of the purple guy.
