Whoa wait! You don't have to strip off the sealer from the concrete first? I'm wanting to go lighter from the original color, is that possible?

Hello there Mr Sullivan, thanks for the informative video. I have a 5 yo stamped concrete driveway that i need your advice on...it has been sealed twice and restained once (not sure what was used) it is variegated but beyond any consistency...i just wanted to know the options and different types of restaining and sealing available - epoxy, acrylic and acid staining to correct the two tone variation. I love the two tone but it is much lighter / darker in certain areas. can supply photos.thanks

The only thing I would have done different is make the grout lines stand out more..that would be more realisitic.

Awesome Video, very helpful! Question though, what if your concrete already has color but was never sealed? I'd like to add a darker color like in the video, would this method work the same on unsealed stamped concrete or would it absorb differently?

What would be the best method to make untreated cured concrete antiqued in color? It is pavers with flag stone texture.

We had a colored concrete patio and driveway installed last fall. We picked a Butterfield color called Salt Marsh Gray from their 2013 color chart. The release on the patio portion was Walnut. However, the Salt Marsh Gray was not at all close to the color chart. After investigation we found out that there is also Salt Marsh Gray on their 2003 color chart. The 2 colors are nothing alike. Has anyone else had this problem with Butterfield color?

Power washing took out too much color in spots of my stained concrete walk. How do I find a qualified person to repair this?

I’m working with a client whose stamped concrete looks like someone is shooting a small caliber round into it at random, everywhere periodically. What causes this and more importantly, how do I fix the concrete? Concrete Densifiers?

I have a color problem with concrete patio. Stamped. Not sealed. The color was supposed to be desert tan and turned out bright orange. We want to change the color. How do I do this.

I have the same issue. I was advised to use a specific color to a new stamped section to match an existing stamped patio. Unfortunately, I didn't get a color chart and check the color myself before purchasing and helping to apply the finish. Now, after going to a Brickform Dealer and talking to them myself, I will be using the Brickform Freestyle Pro to change the color. And then using their recommended contrast for the texture highlights.
