Mightily inefficient and frustrating process, let me tell you that. Bordering on useless, even. In my experience, at least. With this in mind, my MacBook Air 2017 reminds my best friend for work related tasks. I also have iPad 7, but I have long stopped trying to use it to replace my MacBook. I still love it, though. It's THE BEST for streaming multimedia contents, reading comics, editing photos and digital drawing.

I wish it worked well! I spent a lot on the Pro to replace my Surface. But reviewing, comparing documents and finding synonyms etc are not available! At least not with ease. And selecting and formatting is a nightmare. Excel? Don't even get me started. The support is so bad for just regular use. Same with Google Docs. Pages just isn't good enough. After spending sooo much money and trying to figure things out, I'm still using my 4 year old surface and mech keyboard. Idek why I'm ranting here. I'm literally so PISSED.
I have a question. How good is it if you were to open two apps (lets say, Word and PowerPoint), then would you be able go exchange and drop pics and copy paste interchangeably? Or even drop one slide from one app to the other? I know Microsoft apps can do such multitasking on windows laptops but not sure about iPads

I have found some limitations in the XL app such as cutting and pasting from one spreadsheet to another the formulas do not come across just the numbers and also I have not find a way to link spreadsheets. It is possibly just I have not find a workaround for doing these things

I am finding some workarounds for iPad limitations such as using web versions of things in safari but when I try that for excel it opens the app. I am coming to t.he conclusion that ipad either cannot replace a laptop or I will have to find a lot of work arounds and even then there will be limitations!

I’m having hard time with Office on iPad. I was not expecting any learning curve and all the limitations.
I saw the same problem in Excel u can’t use the trackpad in selecting multiple rows or columns or use a formula in dragging cells option !!
