Hi! I’m studying Publicity and digital marketing rn I’m on my first semester and i have to make a lot of video editing and logo drawing. Do you recommend buying the iPad Pro or iPad Air? I’ve only been using my laptop and phone but it’s reallyyy tiring! I hope you can answer me i really need help:( Loved your video btw! Super informative and motivational!
Some of the reviews for this don't make sense. This ruclips.net/user/postUgkxUGaHtKW8MwCql2fPyIm9-ftTqSMzKFFA works as well as any power strip I've used. Plug in what you need, be sensible about it & keep it movin' The construction is plastic but it's a sturdy piece. It has a single toggle switch & the swivel jacks are useful as well. Plugged in next to Tripp Lite Isobar takes some of these reviews with a pinch of sumthin' - does what it says & functions properly.Had for about a month. Perfect no complaints will update if anything changes.
For anyone thinking an iPad is a complete replacement for a laptop or PC, remember it is still on a mobile operating system which means some programs won't work on your tablet and some features of websites aren't supported for tablets etc. Also a tablet will not magically make your handwriting beautiful :(
This. I do think people get it because they like the aesthetic notes but if you have bad handwriting, it’s going to look like that on the tablet too lol
I use my iPads for creative work, paperless notes, email follow ups , but also entertainment such as Netflix. I totally agree with you, the way the multitasking is set up on iPad helps you to focus on one task at a time but gives you the advantage to move around with limits. Having the keyboard and the pencil is must.
I am using an iPad for notes and it really helps me focus on my tasks. With that said I still use a desktop or MacBook when I need to have a lot of research windows open
This made me feel a lot better because I’ve seen people say it’s nearly a necessity to have a laptop to go along with an IPad but I don’t have that kinda money and I’m really scraping everything together to get one device. As the iPad would be my only device I’m looking to see how to get it to work for a degree. I’m a botanist and I’m really hoping that if I can get by with just the IPad.
@@kennethkoh6072 I didn't buy the apple ipad keyboard no :) it was too expensive for me. I went for just a folio case and use the on screen keyboard which works out well :)
I have been doing that for long.... it's works too well dude..I use my tablet on for productive work and studies...and entertainment only on my tv...it works too well😌
Yes its good the ipad couldnt replace a windows PC for me which I use for 3d work, heavy text editing and writing etc, while ipad is for art and entertainment etc.
Haha good one. I use my tablet as a second monitor, and I also use it for entertainment when it comes to play time. No sacrifice. I do programming, and ipad or android tablets don't support that fully. But they do appear on my tablet in monitor mode.
@@Streamlined955 wdym lol if he/she is doing computer programming than they cant use any type of programming software because their isnt any support for those on ios devices so he/she has a good point
Your handwriting on your iPad is so neat. When I first got mine a few months ago I was struggling to write neatly. Especially on GoodNotes. But I guess practice makes perfect. Still love my iPad tho. It has been a great addition to my everyday life in many aspects. I definitely prefer tablets with a pen over laptops. Way more flexible devices.
Fantastic video. Keep up the amazing work and early congrats on graduating soon. Will be attempting to make my soon to be new iPad my go to machine for my day to day activities
I've watched this video twice over the last few months. I had already tried to make my devices narrow/single purposed. I have similar devices like you: Switch, iPad, iPhone, laptop, etc. Originally, my iPad was a first step in computing and possibly replacing my laptop to certain degree: whether it was work, school or play; however, my iPhone is all of that when I'm not with my iPad or laptop. My laptop was for when I needed a processing speeds or anything else that might enter my mind at the time. After watching you video the first time, I tried it your way. I had removed all the apps that were games and entertainment from my iPad. --Wow that made a huge difference: 1) I'm not (as much*) distracted when it's time to work or study. (Turning off notifications helps.) 2) I had minimize my screen time while maximizing my productivity time, a) and, in the process, better allocate my time to relax or play. I'm in the process of working out a system of usage with my iPhone, so that I can stay even more focused. While my PC is only used when I need to do data analysis and coding. I would like to see/know: - What do you use to film, edit and process your RUclips videos? - Thank you and I/we want more iPad content. :) - If you're still into Chemistry, will you shift your business model or add to it with science videos? (Just curious).
I went for a whole year without turning on my laptop. I use my iPhone for almost all my digital needs. Now I just go on laptop to keep it updated. The biggest annoyance with laptop is the updates keep it from functioning. Even after like a month of no use sometimes when I turn it on I have to wait for it to update before I can start using it.
The production quality of this video is amazing. Found this video because I was looking to upgrade my old 9.7” iPad to a bigger one or an iPad Pro. Thanks for the tips! 😊
I definitely agree with the iPad work flow idea. It’s just easier and more seamless for me to work on my iPad over a traditional laptop. And these new iPads can do so much! I, too, use different devices for different things. My iPad Pro is for work, business and school related things, and my iPad mini is for fun stuff. A perfect balance. Thank you for your video!
Let me just say… thank you for creating this video! I am more attracted to your channel and I am glad that I found it because I have been struggling to find someone who creates videos and is in the science field. I struggle with putting my iPad and MacBook to good use for my classes and work
I ditched my laptop years ago for the iPad. Currently use an 11” iPad Pro. Works great for me. At home & while traveling. I use it for everything from web surfing & email writing to video & photo editing as well as note taking & drawing with the apple pencil. It does everything i need.
hi!! can i ask what storage ur ipad is? is it 128 gb, 256 gb, 512 gb, or more? this is what i want to use my ipad pro for & i'm terrified of running out of space. i'm a senior in high school & i at least want my ipad to last until my junior year of college. thanks!
As a General Science Teacher with a very hyperactive son with Autism, Apple captivated me by giving me the the capacity to flow from a Mac at work, downgrade to an iPad during meeting, and seamless continue that same amount of work energy at home with my son and his adventures. As a mother and professional, any tool that does not interfere with your most important role as a mother and allows you to still be that proactive,, creative, and productive alpha female. My mini really blow everyone’s mind, because the competition shows up with bags and binders and/or laptop and even Macs. My mini with the sync information from my Mac and Air is alway tucked in a small purse until it is needed. I love it. iPads are taking over.
So you prefer your mini over the 12.9 iPad and the iPad Pro? I’m trying to decide. It’s really difficult. Do I choose the larger iPad for note taking purpose or the smaller mini for convenience… or tote-ability???
I also used an iPad, a 12.9 inch iPad Pro for most of my computing needs. However I recently replaced the iPad Pro with a Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra and it really improved my productivity. It has a much better amoled screen, a much larger screen, a better keyboard case and a way friendlier file system than Apple's, plus much more refined multi tasking. However I'm a Windows/Android person so it may just be what I am more comfortable with. Either way you can't beat the weight and battery life and note taking abilities of a tablet and stylus versus most laptops. Nice content!
Yes, I agree with your tablet first workflow. Having owned a iPad Air 2 from when it first came out in 2014, twenty years everything Apple as in computers, laptops, watch, routers, and the like) plus eleven years iPhone only, I purchased a Samsung Note 20; amazing device. The Note 20 experience convinced me moving from iPad to Samsung Tablet. My reason, the Samsung tablet OS, and Note 20 as well, contain DeX (Desktop Experience), considerably better than the iPad OS and iPhone OS. For many years having used and loving Apple Notes, my experience with Samsung notes demonstrates it is for me better and more feature rich than Apple Notes. Device personal choice aside, I completely agree with your tablet first workflow is excellent. All your points about tablet first are spot-on.
Had an Ipad Air a long time ago and used it some. Then I got the Ipad Pro in 2018 and never looked back. I almost NEVER need a regular computer anymore !
Thank you for this short but sweet video. An iPad first mentality I think is going to really help me streamline my productivity. I have all but given up on multitasking because I have come to the realization that it is exhausting and it divides the quality of your work. Nowadays if I want to do more than one thing at a time I make sure I can do one of them passively, like listen to a video while typing away in an excel sheet (listening to the video, not watching) and removing distracting apps on my phone or ones I just don't use in general has been able to keep me focused in the past, I dunno why I never thought of doing the same with my iPad. I really just need to keep things simple.
I feel like my iPad is my main as well. First my laptop needs to be fixed lol it is loud and annoying . 2nd digital notes allows me better to focus , I don’t know what it is but writing down my notes digitally just works well for me. If I could do my chem homework on my iPad I would
Great video. I agree. I’ve loved using my iPads over the years much more than my MacBook Pro and Mac Air. I gave my laptops to my son and desktop to my daughter and went to purchase a computer and I ended up with the iPad M1.
You just sold me on using my iPad as my main computer. It's definitely a lot of more fun to use. Oh, and your voice is very soothing. :D I just subscribed to your channel. ; )
I recently started a new job, I am attempting to utilize all the 365 apps offered. I have an older iPad that I rarely use but this video has been most helpful. I have always loved the physicality of writing but in the theory of work smarter not harder, I’m trying new things. Thank you!
I would have loved a digital tablet when I was getting my chemistry degree. I still find it slower to write on a screen vs typing or writing on paper. But it’s just so much more enjoyable.
I love how you mentioned the separation of use for each device. This is the same focus I got my iPad for. It's strictly business. I was doing business and personal from my phone, but was often distracted by personal.
I’ve purchased an iPad 7th gen on Dec 2019 with the Apple Pencil and all I can say is: BEST INVESTMENT. I do all my note takings and study secc in my iPad. When we started online classes because of the pandemic I purchased notebooks to not get distracted on my iPad and what did I end up using: my iPad. The only thing I regret is getting just 32gb. I thought that was enough but considering that I use it a LOT, specially for note taking I’m considering upgrading it to maybe an iPad Air 4 but not yet, my iPad still works really good and the storage gives me a lil more time. But seriously, the BEST.
Some of this is how I feel about my Surface. After I started going to college/university, I started using a Surface Pro 6 (I'm now on the Pro 8 because I broke my 6 and the 7 has terrible battery life) and because I could actually take notes on my computer instead of real pieces of paper (high school is weird about laptops, phones, and tablets) I felt my organization and grades become far better. This shouldn't come as a surprise as the classes in which I _was_ able to use my Galaxy Note were the classes I excelled in. Since then, so much of my work has been on my Surface: Programming, drawing, 3D modelling after I got a nice touch-based addon for Blender. As for things like multitasking, I need the ability to have numerous apps on one or more screens as I need to have Canvas open for schoolwork and my programming app open simultaneously.
I love my iPad, really, but due to having to work a lot with code I just need my laptop. Even if the iPad isn't designed for programming, I still use it a lot for note taking and design work.
My workflow day to day is my Motorola Moto G8 Power. That's the hog that I bring to work in construction and it withstands anything I throw at it. Keeps track of my timesheets, keeps my agenda well put together, keeps my email and friends in sync throughout my day, and it can be my entertainment with quick apps like Netflix and Minecraft. My actual daily driver is a totally seperate LG G8X ThinQ dual screen that hosts all of my favorite apps and games but no social media whatsoever. I keep a totally seperate iPhone SE first gen for that. For gaming, I've got a triple booted gaming desktop and I usually prefer Windows 11 for that. For travel, I've got my Ultrabook if I'm staying in a hotel and my Dell Latitude Vista laptop for camping since most of camping is offline and I just use it for Photoshop to edit my DSLR photos. It's also really nice because unlike the majority of new laptops, it has an official Ricoh full size SD card slot and it runs off an SSD. If I want to go online, I'll hotspot from my Motorola to my LG and tie the Motorola to a tree or something with a bungee cord to act as a router since it's just a work phone anyway. I always go with cheap Motorolas for my work phones because like I said, I work construction and make a ton of money doing it. But I destroy every phone I've ever owned on the job. I like to own a flagship, but at work, I'm at work, so a budget Moto does the job and it's sturdy. Also, if it breaks, I'm good, I'll just buy another $250-300 phone instead of shelling out over $1,000 for a new one. I only buy my phones outright and unlocked and I only buy flagships when it's truly time for a new one (usually after at least 5+ years)
Just found out about the iPad pillow. Where the hell has that been all my life? Shoot, I'm on the MacBook, Mac mini, iPad Pro, iPad mini, 12 pro max, iPhone se, the watch, Apple TV and the speakers. But if I could only keep one, it might be the iPad Pro (as long as I get the iPad pillow first).
I'm quite the Apple collector as well 😂 I've definitely seen the iPad. Once the new 2021 iPad arrives, I'm deciding between that or the Sketchboard Pro! Love the unique products that are designed for the iPad.
Great video. I too am iPad first on my workflow for personal, work, and entrepreneurial endeavors. IPadOS is so modern, intuitive and simple. MacOS seems heavy, dated and not as smart. New subscriber!
This is exactly how I will use the iPad: no games, no TV shows, no Netflix app or whatever. Only business apps (Citrix plugin, Lumafusion, Office 365, iSSH 2 and so on) Great reportage, thanks
I’ve actually used my iPad Air r to teach and I was blown away at how much more productive I was. My students were also able to see that and they preferred the iPad over the chrome books that my my school gives us. This video really helped me put things into perspective when using the iPad as a computer first ! I’ve used it to tutor also while using the Apple Pencil and it was very seamless and productive!
For the last four months I’ve made my iPad Pro my only computer. I was amazed at how easy that transition was. The primary app that I lost was my home edition MATLAB and Simulink. But I learned to work around that. I probably won’t live long enough to fully exploit all the iPad’s capability. Beyond RUclips, my primary iPad usage includes developing engineering illustrations and diagrams as well as taking notes and marking up technical articles. I’ve dumped MS Office in favor of using Apple’s creativity suite: Pages, Numbers, and Keynote. No issues so far.
Looking at your profile picture, you’re not old enough to be saying “probably won’t live long enough”. I hope you live out the rest of your life healthy and happy sir. Also Don’t say negative things like that, think positive. Life is short, but it’s crazy how many things you can do in 5, 10 or even 15 years. Wish you a happy and long, healthy life, with nothing but success and prosperity, sir.
I use my iPad mainly for education and some entertainment(RUclips,Facebook and so on)but I am gonna be using my what ever will be my gaming laptop primarily for gaming purpose
😌 I’m selling my 16 inch MacBook Pro and going all in with my iPad. For me, I think it’s a much more pleasant productivity experience overall. Great video!
Just found your channel, as a person that runs his podcast and professional work from his iPad pro i love seeing channels like this so boom you got a new buddy
I am game developer, when I am on the phase of writing story, event planning, doing some spreadsheet, calender stuff and even drawing/painting character design I relying on my iPad most of the time. The time I use my MacBook Pro is when I need to open the game engine since you can't open Unity/RM/Unreal on iPad (yet) 😂
@@KDigitalStudio Honestly, M1 can run it on a mac, so hopefully it comes to the iPads as well. Pretty much any mac app that uses a .dmg installer should be able to run on the iPad.
If you have a computer at home, you can use remote desktop apps, like Chrome Remote Desktop, and basically turn your Ipad into a remote laptop. With all the modern keyboards, cases and wireless mice, you can get a cute tiny little laptop that would be perfect for remote work, or even working from bed if your computer is at the table. Really helps when you get sick, too. Basically a perfect little thing that can go from a drawing tablet to a full on computer with internet connection.
I still find it more original and mentally acute when using pure pen and paper. There is a difference in thinking when you use a digital device for every single piece of written work vs using pen paper.
Would be so nice not to have software that sometimes requires a pc or other computer to do something missing from the app. The world has gone mobile but too many businesses are stuck while we wait for mobile freedom!
I use iPad Pro for 99% of my work as entrepreneur running my own business, but I also use to play music and edit my drone videos, and for entertainment such as RUclips and Netflix. It is my most valued piece of tech with it being integral to most aspects of my life.
I run a locksmith business with my 2018 6th Gen iPad and it does everything from inventory to invoicing. I use it for my daily living and have found products that help compliment the use. I have a card reader that allows me to use a flash drive, so cards, compact flash cards and even external herd drives so I dont have to take up a lot of space on the iPad itself…after all, it is only 32 gig… I have been able to find 3rd party alternative pencils from JamJake and a flip screen with keyboard from TypeCase and also a 2 way use Bluetooth/wireless mouse for it… I use it everyday. I am not a content creator so this iPad has completely replaced my computer…takes up less space and is way faster to turn on and start…lol
As a biochemist, The iPad had changed my life from Bachelor until now Ph.D. it is easy for write down a lab results, do lab journal, write down a patht way or chemical structure drowning as you mentioned. For me it is the whole experience such as watch a youtube during waiting for pcr results. Listen to music during cell culture or reading paper. The work that I still using my MacBook is for SPSS and citations program for paper writing.
I study an architecture and I love to use my iPad Pro for work and entertainment. I have to use my desktop pc for programs such as Autocad or making 3D models so I still need an actual computer, but I love to use the iPad for sketches, planning, drawing etc.
Yep! Had to turn to my computer for actually creating the 3D models but planned it all out on my iPad beforehand. I recognize the iPad can’t replace all programs, especially niche ones, which is why it can serve as powerful complement. I turn to my iPad first and if it can’t do it, computer second.
I have two MacBooks and a ipad. Along with my iPhone. For work I tend to use my MacBook Air 2018 laptop for work. Because of the files and things I need like my job resume and etc. I want to eventually switch to full ipad. But I don’t have an Apple Pencil yet. I only have stylist pens that are thin like the Apple Pencil. I got a three pack at target for $15. I do have a keyboard case for my ipad. I have the ipad 8th generation 32gb. I have one game on my ipad only because I like the bigger screen size for the game it’s has been updated to fit the screen size of the iPhone 12 Pro Max yet.
I’m a high school and college student (dual enrollment) and my iPad (iPad Air 4) has made my life so much easier. First with saving paper and also being able to conveniently have all my work in one location.
Omg really I have a MacBook Pro looking forward to trade it in for a iPad Because I’ve gone about 4 times for them to fix my MacBook and they keep saying it’s fine when for me I can’t even use it. Trying to convince my parents to let me trade it in for a apple gift card and get a iPad I’ve heard it’s much easier ?
I often think how much better I would have done in school if iPads were around then. Most of my challenges surrounded medical issues and therefore issues with heavy backpacks, needing to bring most of my textbooks home for homework every night, etc. Also, my natural organizational style is much more conducive to annotating than to writing textbook references in my notes.
Love your video. I am using iPad Pro 12.9 2020 for a year as my main machine … I only have complains using files to copy/move large quantity of files (>500) and trying to export from Lightroom also >500 photos at once. I agree that it can do 100% what a pc does, but if you going large quantity of files (even copying mp3 from the usb-c disk) you don’t know what’s going on :( Keep going ! Love your channel
I plan on having 3 primary devices for this upcoming school year. My iPhone will be used for quick checks on classroom and Gmail, The iPad that is still in processing right now will be used for what I did with my Hp Chromebook + streaming apps and games. And the main piece of tech I use is my Windows Desktop computer that can do things very fast. My iPad will replace my Chromebook because my Chromebook is not that useful anymore due to it being very slow.
Thank you mighty YT algorithm for suggesting me this brilliant creator and her awesome video! Instant sub, and my only wish would be to make videos in higher resolution - at least 1080p. Again, brilliant and inspiring video and story.
Sorry about that! Shot my video in 1080/2K and destroyed the quality by accidentally exporting at 720p. Will be more careful & use my sigma lens next time :) thanks for the support!
Me too! I replace my computer 🖥 with iPad Pro💻 and 🍎✏️ so I can bring along with me🤩 anywhere as it is super convenient👍🏼 but 1 thing I’m worry of is what happen if my iPad breakdown😳😅😅😅
Excellent video. Really well done. So many other videos have useless b-roll video. This one was succinct and to the point. Really well done. You must be a good student.
This makes me interested in getting an iPad. My primary uses are for video and audio editing/music production, and other creative projects like photo editing and writing. I recently got an Asus notebook, which I really love, but I felt guilty admitting that I find my iPhone incredibly more user friendly. It took me TWO 10 hour days to edit a video with Davinci on the laptop that I could’ve edited in a few hours using IMovie on my iPad. The only real benefit in a laptop is the larger screen, but that could be remedied with an iPad. Thanks for the insightful video. You’ve planted some seeds in my mind. :)
I see to do the same thing Apple is better for those features. And I wouldn't recommend iPad as it may not support what you need itss worth investing in a MacBook with a good amount of storage or just get external storage as they can take up alot of space
I'd recommend investing into a NAS its basically your own cloud computer that you can access from any device anywhere you want. It will safe you from paying $10 every month for the next x amount of years. It adds up
I think the large corps are seeing it this way too. We have the 14.6" Samsung tab S8 Ultra coming out in a couple months, and I wouldn't be surprised if we see an even larger than 12.9" iPad soon as well. Seems like the line between computer and tablet is getting thinner and thinner.
I used it for studing ..read my PDF books in it .. first i had a problem of books size so i used website to seperate the chapters . Then i have a problem of with eyes for so much spending studing for college
I strategically purchased my iPad with keyboard and pencil for the sole purpose of using for work, planning and creating. I needed the portability but more importantly, I needed something that would support me while I learn new create tools and techniques without overwhelming myself with desktop software that I probably won’t use until I get into more advanced levels.
I need a more organized workflow. My iPad pro is coming in today. My old iPad doesn’t support the pencil. So I’m looking forward to learning all this new iPad is capable.
Great vid. I’m exactly the same. iPad first, MacBook second. I only use my MacBook for video calls because the iPad FaceTime camera is on the side when it’s on the magic keyboard, which is kind of annoying that they haven’t changed that yet, but whatever. And also, I do a lot of work on google docs and unfortunately, Apple doesn’t support having multiple windows for google docs open the same way you can for pages, notes, safari, etc. So working on multiple docs at the same time can be annoying. But other than those, I 100% use my iPad at my primary laptop and I love it
I tried making my workflow ipad first or ipad dominated but I still find that I am more productive when using my mac. I find that I use my ipad for both creativity and entertainment. While my mac is for work and deep research :) Great video though!
You can do the same with a keyboard. You don’t need a computer. The key is organisation, do your folders before working and copy/paste it. Currently I discovered the Markdown and it's just great.
I think some of it depends on your style and talents. I’m a successful digital artist, but I can’t hand draw squat, so until Illustrator came out for iPad not long ago, I needed that mouse and a full digital toolbox.
It’s nice to know that I’m not the only one who uses more than one iPad for different reasons. I know people who look at me crazy for owning 2 iPads and a MacBook haha

You are not alone... iPad Pro for work and study, iPad mini for play, MacBook Pro to keep all my shit together... 🤣🤣🤣
I got an iPad gifted to me two years ago and I honestly can't seem to do anything on it except watching a few Netflix series here and there... And sometimes RUclips.... I am more comfortable using my smartphone n laptop for study/research/work purposes.... I tried to learn digital art but gave up too quickly.... Honestly with a 9-5 job I don't get much time to sit and figure out things on the iPad.... Also the keyboard... Definitely I m not accustomed to using the keyboard.... I wonder if I am the only one who doesn't know how to use this impeccable device
Great video! I’ve been contemplating going all in with an iPad set up as well. I’m a yoga teacher and currently use an 8th gen iPad to stream classes, create content, etc. Like you, I tend to separate my work/play gadgets (though I do have Netflix on my iPad) as I have an Xbox and Switch for gaming with my laptop connected to an external monitor should I want to use it for streaming. In any case, an all-in iPad set up is very intriguing and if you’d be willing to work with me to do so for my yoga business I am all ears!
Super happy that you decided to share this!! I have a question... do you miss anything about working on a laptop solely? p.s your editing is super good these days!!
The only thing I really do on my laptop is edit my videos but if final cut ever comes to the iPad, I won’t see much need for my laptop (other than watching videos or playing games since I don’t do that on my iPad). 😊
I had a Pavilion Gaming Laptop, after my admission in Med school it became useless, because most of the med apps don't support Windows, and later on I was kinda forced to switch to iPad, fantastic experience with my new iPad 🥰
At the beginning of the semester. I bought a notebook for school. Ever since I bought my iPad. All of my notes are in the iPad. I noticed that my grades made a jump ever since I transition from handwriting notes to digital notes.
Can u do an updated how to make digital planners cause the other one became old and if u have any other advice and tips and tricks for making digital planners
I also have different devices for different purposes. I prefer to have another separate media consumption tablet for watching movies and I treat my iPad mainly as a personal journal/notebook (containing my diary app, photo albums and electronic payment stuff). I separate my music collection completely! Most of my friends find this behavior weird but it's nice to know I'm not really alone.
It’s nice that your major/lifestyle allow you to use an iPad the majority of the time. I would love too as well but me being a computer scientist I need certain applications that iPads don’t support sadly. Hopefully in the future I’ll be able to adopt your ways 😢
My iPad serves as my computer for work/biz, but because I have this final year left of undergrad, I have to use my laptop for certain programs and applications like MATLAB, Mestrenova, citation managers, ChemDraw, etc. that can't be run on the iPad. After this year, I won't need those programs.
If you're interested in seeing more iPad content, don't forget to subscribe! And if you have any requests, I'm open to hearing them :) Thank you!
My iPad is my computer too I have a 8th gen 10.2 , a cheap keyboard and a Apple Pencil
Mam, does it support photoshop & Microsoft word/excel ?
Hi, I’d be interested to see your filing system!
Can I buy any of the one from you , I'm in desperate need of this and need it for Architecture

"Why is My iPad My Computer?"
Because no one can afford a computer after purchasing an iPad.
Haha good one. I use my tablet as a second monitor, and I also use it for entertainment when it comes to play time. No sacrifice. I do programming, and ipad or android tablets don't support that fully. But they do appear on my tablet in monitor mode.

Great video! You made excellent points and your whole explanation seems like exactly what Apple was going for with the iPad Pro lol
Lol
Hey man
I FOLLOW YOU

Tour videos are dam good
Your handwriting on your iPad is so neat.
Same. Especially when writing fast in college lecture lol. At least I can read my handwriting so that’s what matters
--Wow that made a huge difference:
1) I'm not (as much*) distracted when it's time to work or study. (Turning off notifications helps.)
2) I had minimize my screen time while maximizing my productivity time,
a) and, in the process, better allocate my time to relax or play.
I'm in the process of working out a system of usage with my iPhone, so that I can stay even more focused. While my PC is only used when I need to do data analysis and coding.
I would like to see/know:
- What do you use to film, edit and process your RUclips videos?
- Thank you and I/we want more iPad content. :)
- If you're still into Chemistry, will you shift your business model or add to it with science videos? (Just curious).
I’m a chemistry teacher and recently also became iPad first (new air) - it really does change everything
I like using the iPad with an Apple Pencil for school work because it doesn’t use lots of paper and it’s easier to keep track of everything.
Really wondering what else is ipad good for aside from drawing and planning? I mean…can it present on a hdmi projector?

Let me just say… thank you for creating this video! I am more attracted to your channel and I am glad that I found it because I have been struggling to find someone who creates videos and is in the science field. I struggle with putting my iPad and MacBook to good use for my classes and work
I ditched my laptop years ago for the iPad. Currently use an 11” iPad Pro. Works great for me. At home & while traveling. I use it for everything from web surfing & email writing to video & photo editing as well as note taking & drawing with the apple pencil. It does everything i need.
Same. My laptop has been collecting dust ever since I got the 11” iPad Pro 2020 .
Would this be a good device for making you tube videos?
@@Jean-rv4yg Yup. I use Luma Fusion to edit my videos on my ipad pro. It’s totally doable. You just have to get used to the different workflow.

hi!! can i ask what storage ur ipad is? is it 128 gb, 256 gb, 512 gb, or more? this is what i want to use my ipad pro for & i'm terrified of running out of space. i'm a senior in high school & i at least want my ipad to last until my junior year of college.
@@trohnb8104 go Air, for the same chip as the Pro but more screen space than the mini
U're using Samsung tabet until now ?

Thank you!! 😊
:D I just subscribed to your channel. ; )

I would have loved a digital tablet when I was getting my chemistry degree. I still find it slower to write on a screen vs typing or writing on paper. But it’s just so much more enjoyable.
get a paperlike screen protecter!! it feels just like paper when i write on it so i can write faster :)
A video on using and taking care of the magic keyboard, especially if you commute/travel with it.
Omggggg what was that app for your digital planner?? Amazing 😍
I guess is the GoodNotes
She had me at "what can I say? I love the sims" haha! Me too :))

Yep! Had to turn to my computer for actually creating the 3D models but planned it all out on my iPad beforehand. I recognize the iPad can’t replace all programs, especially niche ones, which is why it can serve as powerful complement. I turn to my iPad first and if it can’t do it, computer second.
I have my degree in chemistry :) but this was way back in 2015 before the Apple Pencil was released. This would have made the difference!

I still have nightmares from physical chemistry. Especially since the class was only offered once every 2 years.
But other than those, I 100% use my iPad at my primary laptop and I love it
Love this. I just got my ipad pro ☺️ hoping to make the same transition and have my ipad as my primary creative computer.
I tried making my workflow ipad first or ipad dominated but I still find that I am more productive when using my mac. I find that I use my ipad for both creativity and entertainment. While my mac is for work and deep research :) Great video though!
Thanks for sharing!

What a cool video! Thank you so much. I wanna make my M1 iPad also my new Main device…
I’ve been heavily considering making the investment. This helped a lotn
