Hi John. She turned out great. One question. Did the sails come with the kit? I'm asking because there is something not right with the Inner Jib, or the Outer Jib. I cant tell just what, but [t looks off. Compare it to your other models. Dose not seen like eleven months. Time sure flies.
Hi Gordon! thank you very much! No the sails are not coming with the kit, that's why i said that a couple of them are out of scale.

Would you try the new Occre HMS Victory. Very expensive but the quality would be amazing.

Super job John. Your comment about the ship being NOT for beginers is certainly true. I have built 4 ships previously and am stuggling a bit with this one. I am following your video series ( sort of) and would be lost without it due to the rather vague plans included. I found my kit was short one band of copper for the rudder. I notified Billing boats and was told they would send me another. That was over a month ago and I have not heard a word since. I had to go to another source to get what I needed.( not the only extra expense , as you pointed out) Another note, the materials provided are minimal. If I did not have left over material from previous builds , I would be stuck.I asked early on about ships boats. They said they were working on that (2-3 months ago). again, no results yet. I haven't gotten to the rigging yet ( I did order the ropes of scale and had a very good experience with them) so I may be asking for your files on that. All in all, I think this will turn out ok ( not up to your standards ) I still sit for some minutes in the dark admiring the lighting !
I am glad that you like her and also i am very happy that you manage to build her!!! You have a long way until she is ready. Billing Boats were hacked back in May and their files were destroyed. That made the to change their priorities so they can be still in business. They have given a lot of effort to be able to keep up with my demands. The copper plates are ready for sale, i believe that the boats will be ready before you reach that point. The good thing is that you can place them on anytime, they do not interfere with the rest of the build. I know about the lights , she looks spectacular!!!

Thank you very much Ray!!! The big one is around 12-13 cm, the middle one is around 10-11 and the small ones around 7-8 cm.

John an excellent build and one that I have enjoyed so much following both from a build perspective ( Which has been brilliant in my opinion) but also seeing Wolf & Buddy who remind me so much of my pups (Labrador’s) Especially when your just about to do a tricky/ detailed bit of a model…..they seem to know exactly when to nudge your arm or drop a ball for some fuss…….wouldn’t be without them..
Watching your last video on the summarised build bought back many memories and moments over the period she took to build.
You should be very proud for completing such a wonderful yet challenging model.

I am proud of the result cause i said to my self that i wanted to build a Victory that has it all and i did that. Nice work the price is a little bit over the top the ship alone is $1000 aud I went with san juan nepomuceno for my ship build half way thru so far and noticed a few mistake by artesania the life boat was different to what's in schematics and I noticed the mistakes u mentioned in your build plus a couple others your videos help alot thanks keep up the great work

@JohnsWoodenShips if there wasn't any videos out there on ship building I probably wouldn't be able to build but there is plenty of info out there which makes it easier
I would not attempt this as a first ship build I agree looks scary what's next?
