So glad I came across your video. Even if it's a year later! This idea has been tumbling around in my head ever since the ideas of nft art was realized. I'm an old-school artist and can't wrap my head around a virtual nft art collection and wondered how nft's could be displayed in the real world, in your home! Loving the comments on your video! Excited to see where this niche goes!
Qonos and Canvias are the ones that I find most attractive as a concept. Thanks for the info!! Very well explained. I only learned about this NFT concept yesterday!! can you believe it ? And I'm already looking for a way to display that stuff on my walls 😂
Hello Esther did you settle on what you think is the best display. It weird that a couple videos on these Ive seen have links to buy products that no longer exist.
I think at the crux of NFTs is ownership. You prove ownership with your private key. Otherwise digital content can be easily replicated. Now the problem I have with these frames is that you could essentially put NFTs that you do not have the privates keys to on. Because if that were the case, anyone could literally download a copy and load onto a screen. Yes you could have a physical frame that comes with the purchase of an NFT but unless you prove that you hold the private keys to the public address you can't prove ownership. You could have very well have sold the NFT but still keep the physical frame. The closest I can think of to having a digital NFT art frame is a company like Ledger creating a art frame that would require you to key in your private key. Seeing Ledger on the frame would be able to tell someone that "hey this guy owns the private key" unless ofcourse someone replicates the frame but then again there's a higher barrier to it like replicas of modern physical art. But then someone could literally steal your art by stealing your frame which is (not going to lie) a +1 for ownership. But again I'm not sure if anyone would be willing to do this unless they had one private key for each NFT they own which considering the gas fees now... Also you wouldn't want all your crypto assets stored on a frame. Also I wouldn't really count VeVe in the NFT space because if you had used the app you would have noticed you actually don't control your private keys. And again you prove ownership with your private key. Not with your login information. My Fortnite skins aren't NFTs. I came to this video looking for a way to display my NFT art but realise it isn't meant to be. I think a physical frame is frankly not what NFTs are about. I think people going into NFTs recgonise that they are buying a digital asset that can't be replicated and of which ownership can be proven and thats it. People looking for something they can touch and display at home aren't fond of NFTs and will only buy physical art. I'm so certain of this distinction between the digital NFT art space and the physical art space after watching this video but unfortunately I'm perhaps not able to express it well enough. But as for me, I will no longer be looking for a physical solution but will admire and cherish my NFTs all the same.
Hi Gordon -- I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to comment and add to this conversation. You have a lot of valid points and concerns. It sounds like you have a good grasp on the NFT scene and I humbly take all of that into account. I do see the issue in displaying the ACTUAL NFT on a physical frame...the logistics of physical frames for NFTs in general are clearly still in the early stages as I stated, but they ARE being developed. I do feel like there will be some kind of way to either "mirror" your owned NFT assets onto a frame, or display a copy, with a seal/QR code/etc to verify that you actually own the asset. Bottom line is that I feel like people will want to display the NFT art that they purchase (I know I do, at least) -- and the first company to really figure out a way to make this a reality will take art to a new level. Agreed on your VeVe points -- however, I included it more for the aspect of how you can display your collectibles. Regardless, the NFT space is so exciting right now, and I'm very intrigued to see what new innovations develop. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts man
@@JohnnyFiacconi Upon further reflection, I think new people coming into the so-called NFT space don't actually know about a private key and how that solely determines ownership. An understanding that the private key is the literal key to proving ownership of an NFT will quickly eliminate seals or QR codes. I notice that customers do not have their private key to NFTs on NBA Top Shots either. This puts ownership into question. As of now you can only trade that NFT on their marketplace not anywhere else. In fact, there are numerous reports that people are having difficulty cashing out from their accounts. I think this is very unblockchain-like. Yet, there are still alot of people buying into it. Same goes with VeVe. This is in contrast to NFTs on Ethereum of which you send and receive outside of marketplaces. And of which you require your private keys to do so. In fact I since recently came across a digital collectible platform Quidd. Take note I didn't even mention NFT. That's because they actually do not even use a blockchain at all. So my realisation is as follows: there has been a shift in the market. The narrative has changed in the NFT space. I think 'not your keys, not your NFT' doesn't come into play so much so anymore. I think the original hype of NFTs has led new people into the digital collectible space where the idea of true ownership has disappeared. Therefore, if you are telling me that people will now want to be able to display their digital collectibles, I realise now that they may not care so much as to be able to prove ownership definitely. Or maybe they will be happy enough to so-called prove ownership with their account login information like your Top Shots username that is linked to your Instagram. Fate loves irony. I'm perhaps just old-school... I shan't preach.
Somebody asked a similar question if this was possible on reddit and so I stumbled across your video and I sent them this link because they were excited as you are with having NFT art displayed in real life so you're welcome! 😁😇
By no means am I recommending any here (as I don't own any!) but the one that seems to be the most exciting for me personally is Qonos! Which one sounds most intriguing to you??
Just bought a Canvia. Will let you know what I think. From reviews, both Canvia, & Meural have not fully fine tuned their apps & have difficulties. I went with Canvia, because reviews have shown it to show better brush stroke detail. We will see! Thanks for the video!
@@JohnnyFiacconi there's nothing to investigate. I've done all that for you. The meural is the best hands down. The others are great in one area but absolutely horrific elsewhere whether it be the aspect ratio or low picture quality. Unless you want to spend 2000 dollars for the Samsung "frame" then the meural is it.
Let me see if I get this straight, I'm a musician from Toronto and I'm looking for information on frames for NFTs and you're telling me I find this video… Talk about extremely niche. RUclips truly has everything lol

cool info, and i liked the simple way you put it. keep up with the channel ! i think NFT can be a good niche for u to follow.
Really appreciate this comment. Thanks so much for the encouragement!
Loved the video, Would love to hear your thoughts on NFT Frame projects like Viide. Maybe a good one to add to your next update vid. Thanks
Great video and something I was looking at before learning anything about NFTs. Great video and great information.
Glad my video could help! Cheers
Love this. Been longing for one of these for my art. Not quite there but soooon.
Thank you! This is exactly the info I was looking for 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Hey! Thanks so much for sharing my vid on reddit! Sincerely appreciate it!
@@JohnnyFiacconi Of course 😇
which frame would you suggest buying from the five you mentioned?

Omg! Finally ! Thankyou!
Meural is actually the best option. I own 9ne and I've tried others. The meural displays all sorts of formats now and it looks like the real thing
That’s great to know 👍👍 thanks for your input! Will investigate further!

i agree it seems like the best choice, but how did you get your nft there, do you jus save it as a mp4 then upload on the screen?
What a great video. Wow. Nice dense info in good vid.
Thanks so much for checking it out and leaving a comment
Thank you very much for this video, but did you hear of NFT in 3D (side by side)?
where can you get one??
Nice! Inspiring stuff happening. 🤘😎
This was really helpful, thanks!
Awesome! More NFT content please! New subscriber!

Thanks so much, I appreciate it!
Thanks for this bro !
Appreciate it!
This is great!
😍 😍 😍 thanks!!!
Cheers from Calgary Johnny!
That qonos link doesn't seem to work
Yeah I just saw that now too…strange!
cheers
what if you re sell it?
Can these digital frames display animated NFTs?
Canada, hey!
What about a frame tv?
what is the cheapest one
It really depends more on what you want it used for, as opposed to price :)
Hey, cool.
I want to sell the digital arts I have, can you buy them.
If I wasn't saving up for a few other projects, I would by as much as I could! I'm sure you will find some buyers though. Cheers
Like screensavers reinvented
when the gold rush comes sell the supplies
veve!!!
quonos is a fraud. Be carefoul with that company!
You dont fully use the advantage that a video gives you. You should Display the frame and the specs way longer.
So a monitor or a tv? Lmao
hahahhahahahaha U all need doctor for insanity ...buying digital pics/gifs worth 500+$ ..i will just record screan ..scale it..boom 0 $
Thanks for watching! I think you need to do more research still, and then you’ll start to understand :) cheers!
