finally a detailed video👍👍👍, I too have a Casio like yours but the sensor is acting up. We look forward to future videos on this 100 bp. Thanks bro for sharing
Hey man, appreciate the comment, thank you! Glad to be of help, makes it all worth while 👍🏻
Thanks a lot mate ❤
@@ahmedmohsin3951 you're very welcome, thanks for watching 🙌🏼
Nice watch! I've just purchased one from eBay. Could I ask where you found the replacement strap? Thank you.
@@HowdyPlayerOne hey, yeah they look great! I think I remember getting it from the popular online auction site lol!
Works in the same way as a modern smartwatch, except my £800 smartwatch won’t give me blood pressure readings. I’d say this was quite ahead of its time.
@@cmdrflint9115 oh yeah I love my Casio collection for that reason, be it this, the TV controller, camera, thermometer and more!. Awesome tech, ahead of its time and in a portable usable format.
+ also worth mentioning, I often find with other digital watches, if you loose one of those caseback springs (or it was lost by previous owner), you can often find a suitable replacement inside an old spring bar. Not tried it with the bp100, but works a treat with some other Casio and Seiko models, just the right size.
Thank you
You're very welcome, thanks for the support :)
@@retro_restorations Thank you very much
if you hold the bottom left button for 2 seconds you can switch menus where there is a stop watch
Thanks for mentioning that! It’s exactly the same on my TS-150 but that has temperature instead of heat rate as it’s feature :)
by temperamental you mean that value is not very stable ? two readings with 1 minute diference and return very diferent results?
No it just really has to be in the perfect spot to take a reading in the first place!
Hi, I have also have a casio bp 100, but the person who gave me it didn't mention that the two springs were missing....do you know were I can find them? Thank you a lot, your video was very very informative 👍🏻
Hi, the larger one in the middle is reasonably common if you just search the model number in ebay. The other one took me ages to find and ultimately the solution was buying a "masar 6 to 24mm Ø 1.0mm to 1.3mm Premium Spring Bars for Watches - Attention Special Diameter - Very Fine" on Amazon that was delivered from France. I then opened up the spring bar and then cut the spring to size!
@@retro_restorations can I ask you the link for both the springs? Thank you for replying🙏🏼🙏🏼👍🏻
@retro_restorations hi I tried to search on amazon like you said, but it only shows me bars, and not springs...what can I do?
@@marcokappaa Hi, as I mentioned in my initial reply I bought the spring bar and then opened them up by pulling out the moving end bit, and then used the spring that was inside the bar after cutting to size
@retro_restorations yeah youre right, I realised later ahahah....but I still can't find the exact one you mentioned...could you please send me the links? Thank you very much
Great video. Im getting D error on mine. Difficult watch to understand. Mine is yellow at sensor area.
They look fantastic but they are definitely a bugger to get working reliably! From member D error is data error when the personal information hasn’t been fully entered correctly.
@retro_restorations Ah that's good to know. I usually flip watches but this one I think I'll keep. I'll definitely check out your other stuff. Good luck!
A fastastic video. Pls send me that supplier or source from which I can get the rubber replacement strap.
Thank you for the supportive comment. I used ebay and the item was VINTAGE CASIO ORIGINAL CORREA/BAND BP-100 NOS I had to import it into the UK which cost EUR 34.70
