Its important to note, that words of winds is infinite mana with joira if you net one mana with a crypt and a mox opal, pretty much a 3 mana hullbreaker that actually pulls apart a board to win, its in my flubs list for an earthcraft and 2 zero drops or any creature and a dockside for a similar reason. one of the very few of the ways to interact in flubs due to how it has to be built
Just an informative comment or two as someone who attended CommandFest Shanghai... First off, very high Sisay and Nadu representation for the event as mentioned in the video. Sisay is popular right now because of its high conversion rate as a deck, and Nadu was played a lot because many people were of the "if you can't beat them, join them" mentality. There was also A LOT of Nadu hate, as expected. Many pods were 3 vs 1 Nadu, and most if not all players had an anti-Nadu plan. I had a crazy Round 2 pod where the Sisay player Gilded-Draked T1 Nadu as Seat 1 on their T2, then copied a Shuko with Phy-Morph T3, before playing their own Nadu in the 99 on T5. So suffice it say that many players were either prepared to abuse Nadu or hate out Nadu. I personally did not do too well at the event due to obscene amounts of bad luck, but it happens. The 1st place Blue Farm pilot is actually local and won last year's event at CommandFest Shanghai as well. Keeps placing high in our LGS tourneys in very consistent fashion. Very consistent and knowledgeable player; only plays Blue Farm to my knowledge though. I was personally really hoping to see more deck diversity this time around, but it both felt and looked like a very Nadu + Sisay + Blue Farm field.
Really interesting stuff! It's been cool to see how many decks look to utilize Nadu in their own list, my next video features a lot of it too. Feels like the first build around creature we've had in the 99 since like Dockside which is a wild comparison
One Ring is pretty staple in magda for draw loops. The deck didn't run vexing bauble which can be draw looped too. Nothing to fancy in the magda deck, beside the double 3 drop tutor for dockside. A less used card without ragavan and gimli in the deck is mox amber, which shows up here. It can be used but when you run the "more legends" package it gets more efficient.
Curious about diabolic intent... Which do you think is an acceptable creature number to run it on decks like Blue Farm, or even more midrange decks like Tivit?
@@Dubbios TnKs seem to have success with it as low as 12, I'm not sure how much evaluation of the card has happened as creature counts have gone down, but so far it seems like you don't need very many to justify it.
Is there anyone who play the Rhystic Tutor in Rog-Si that can tell me how good it is? I dont see it much nesesary into the deck and even for 3 mana and Sorcery is like a regular tutor so, please some one know how good or playable it is?
@Tobias1834-iq4sv I haven't put it in my list yet, but better players than me have and still seem to be wanting to keep running it. It's just nice to have another pay off spell and especially one that doesn't have the double pip downside like grim tutor does.
Borne Upon a Wind helps control decks take advantage of finding the right window to act, which is a whole lot of what the control plan is about. You can even use it to help fight win attempts. It's not purely forced to work as a way to win.
@@LemorasCards if the format wasn't so fast like it is right now with dockside running amok it probably would be an auto include for me in blue decks. but if i am not playing some way to really capitalize off of having borne i have no problem cutting it as i would rather have any other interaction. maybe i should've checked in detail all the decks you said needed to have borne because maybe there were all adnaus or necro decks. cheers.
Just wanna say, the cut and beard look great!
Thank you!
The angels grace in derevi is a winning combo with faerie mastermind when you get to inf mana. Infinite draws for everyone
The Tymna Kydele list seems sweet, some spicy tech.

the tymna kydel deck surprised me. Definitely brewers edge with that one. need to look into that rhystic tutor for rogsi...

@@LemorasCards It's also quite interesting for the purpose of banlist discussion for the format, for many different reasons imo.
Great content. Enjoying your breakdowns. Keep up the awesome work. Cheers!
Wow 6 Tim Necron decks??? ❤❤❤ And as usual no Gaddock Teeg!
It's a sad world we live in

Great break down as usual homie. I'm not hip apparently bc I don't like offer all that much
@coreyhayslip5418 thank you! I am the number one offer hater, so I'm right there with you!
I know it might be a random off topic comment but you're rocking that beard man

Just noticed roaming throne isn't a changeling so the goblin tutor wouldn't get it
True! Have to get the actual changelings
That Jhoira list is spicy and very scary ngl
Awesome video! I’m new to cEDH and think that Jhoira deck is really cool. How are they using walking ballista to win in that deck?
Haste enabler red land is good but list would be on 7 mountains then. Bad odds.
"Swords with no path" sounds like an old book title
Pick Your Poison is a Sorcery :( eek. Isn't Static Prison superior in like every way to that
@@dave3269 hits something for each opponent which is pretty big upside.
I really like these videos. I grew so tired of Ian's videos where they all are about how excellent he is. Always hyped when you release something new.
I don’t think goblin matron gets roaming throne, just the changelings

borne upon the wind is just a dead card a lot of the time from my experience, maybe you don't play control heavy decks?
