The above are the prominent circuits Hermann has designed and there are plenty of others as well. The circuit was World class in 2014, rather it was the poor management of Jaypee group that led it to wayside. Then it was the Akhilesh Yadav govt who refused to acknowledge Formula 1 as sport and levied all sorts of taxes which prevented Jaypee group from making payments to Formula 1. My question was simple to Indian Olympic Association when there was no agreement or understanding with the then UP govt why was Noida even chosen? There was no secret even before F1 circuit came up in Noida for couple years Naidu had advocated for former Andhra Pradesh and now Telangana to be where this track should come about. Naidu even back then understood how many jobs would come as a result of F1 track but all of that was wasted by mismanagement via politics. They chose to build the track away from the actual fan base causing the drop in number of fans wanting to go to Buddh International circuit. I heard it became so bad that they were giving away free tickets so that fans would come to watch. Coming back to the point the BIC designer is World class and back then many F1 drivers even loved the Indian Grand Prix track. So yeah design of the track was fantastic but maintenence of it went wayside and fell into despair.
@@sidmallya7421 bro you gotta be kidding there are interviews where many F1 drivers miss the circuit as it was soo good. It was and is mismanaged for sure but the track was on point.

Then Marque one race track is expected to be FIA Grade 2 license based in Andhra Pradesh, also supposed to be the longest racetrack in India. The Valley Speedway in Bengaluru is also expected to be FIA Grade 3 license. Well who knows if investors are willing to put up money maybe they will upgrade the Hyderabad circuit, ppl need to understand racing circuits are costly affair and sometimes returns on them are slow. So yeah you might feel like circuit is shit bur you have no idea what kind of money is required to develop and maintain such circuits. This is one of the biggest reasons why circuits are developed in different phases.

Less than 10 seconds in the video, I had to fact-check things... Drifting is popular in Japan - True, BUT - It's not a "sport"that the Japanese government endorses or encourages. Also, The Dakar has been held in Saudi Arabia just twice so far - Here is what Wiki tells us - The Dakar Rally (or simply "The Dakar"; formerly known as the "Paris-Dakar Rally") is an annual rally raid organised by the Amaury Sport Organisation. Most events since the inception in 1978 were staged from Paris, France, to Dakar, Senegal, but due to security threats in Mauritania, which led to the cancellation of the 2008 rally, events from 2009 to 2019 were held in South America. Since 2020, the rally has been held in Saudi Arabia. Note that Dakar was held for 10 long years in South America, it is more South American than Saudi Arabian.
And that bit about Thai motorsports. Ask any Thai what they think of it. This video is riddled with factual inaccuracies, it doesn't stop with what we have already mentioned here. Motorsports is a lose lose proposition.
Motorsports as an organisation is not what it used to be. Racing used to be the competition of cars, albeit with some modifications, and the resulting marketing comes in the form of sales of those same cars the following such races. So, in other words, it was a marketing exercise. The cars of today, and I'm not talking about touring cars like in the BTCC, are nothing like they used to be. Consider F1, there is nothing in F1 that markets to any cars that currently exist, with the exception of super/hypercars that are made by those same organisations, and in small numbers. In the past, there used to be technological transfers to road cars but today racing cars have very little in common with those that are on the road. As far as India's involvement, or lack thereof, in motorsports is concerned, is purely a marketing one. I suspect that there are very few companies over there who are willing to pay the price for the global reach that F1 is offering. While there are fans of F1 in India, it only constitutes 0.02% of India's population. However, I believe that the reasons why there isn't an Indian F1 GP right now are that there is no market for such a thing over there and that political and economic issues hamper such efforts to be there. And to the OP, you are right, this whole article needs a lot of fact-checking.
@@prasadchavan8313 curb Chinese imports. India does not have a single major manufacturer making custom auto parts or even graded stickers. Even the minor players import every single machine and input material. There is zero value or capacity addition in this industry.
After a casual discussion with my team here's what I think: for any sport to prosper in India it has to reach the grassroots level which is evident from the popular sports leagues in India. Now when I say grassroot I am not talking about the organised sports events but the unorganized ones. Here are the few examples: ipl(gully cricket), pkl(inter village tournaments), isl(inter locality competitions). Now as our friend mentioned it is too costly here's how the problem can be solved: 1. Drag racing is one of the simplest form of motorsport and is quite popular. We can take the element of short duration event say like a weekend and combine it with Finnish motorsport of Folk Racing where the cars are completely scrap and the racing is organised on a trach which is part gravel part tarmac. This way it will be cheap and affordable for a lot of people. 2. We need to have time-attack events where there is a special category for stock cars. 3. Now this may open a can of worms but the vehicle customisation needs to legalised but with rules. Once that is done the motorsport scene in India will improve and the best example is NASCAR. The above ideas can help improve the motorsport and will definitely help the economy.
Not just motorsports, India hates e-Sports as well and "gaming" had been reduced to blatant gambling like Dream 11 and Teen Patti while PUBG is being banned😂
@@-rate6326 Gacha is just a system of monetization. The gameplay is skill based. You can buy all the skins you want but it will not give you an advantage over other player and it is completely optional. Gameplay for fantasy and rummy like gambling games is outright luck based and putting money gives a definite advantage to players who do. THEY ARE NOT GAMES and are an insult to skill based players who put thousands of hours of time into practice to get good and compete at a global level. Also if India has a problem with Chinese companies why is it that Mi, Vivo, Oppo and other Chinese mobile brands are allowed to operate? Why are companies like CF Moto, BYD, QJ, Zontes etc which are Automotive brands allowed to sell bikes and cars in India? Just take a look at Riot games which is owned by Tencent. Valorant being a huge game is not banned in India and even has a Mumbai server. The solution is not banning everything Chinese, it would be to bring equally good Indian made options. But no, we have trash games like FAUG trying to sell a sentiment. We have no reputable game developers with global titles and our gaming community is basically lacking in every way thanks to our culture. I would like to add a final point since your profile picture has Pokemon GO; initially the game was struggling to get launched in India for over 2-3 years because someone filed case that a pokestop at a temple used to drop Eggs and its non-veg 💀 At this point what is not offensive to Indians? We are a laughing stock in the gaming world thanks to things like this.
@@stimmyKnuckle Any game on any platform can become a competitive event at international level because players are all playing with the same tools. If you have a look at some of the Indonesian players on PUBG mobile you'll have a hard time believing they are playing on touch screen phones.

@@train_xc yes. 1. Carbon fibers date back to 1910's. It was used for aircraft manufacturing. It's adoption to commercial vehicles was a result of falling costs not because of F1. 2. Used in commercial vehicles dating back to 1950's adopted by motorsports in the 90s
@@train_xc I think this speaks to the lack of respect Indians have for concept-to-product. F1 inventing something to be adopted by the commercial vehicles is a rare occurrence because the use cases differ so wildly. F1 innovates for F1 not for the automotive industry as a whole. Drawing upon the example of Thailand, where the promotion of motorsports lacks intrinsic value, imagine a scenario where someone proposes to advocate for the proliferation of red capital business in India, similar to Thailand. India, as a civilization, aspires to embody the traits of a cultured entity through its laws and conduct towards its behavior of people in everyday life. Back in the west, where gladiators fought each other to the death in the Coliseum, their lives treated as mere spectacle for sport. Meanwhile, in ancient India, even the surrendered enemy in battlefield was granted the gift of mercy and life. We can apply a similar perspective to the realm of motorsports, where in the event of car crashes during races, competitors seldom exhibit sympathy towards the affected vehicles and instead desire to proceed with their own race. To utter words about promoting motorsports hold no significance in our greater Dharmic morals that we should adhere

@sid mallya lol dude the Pista Motor Speedway is expected to receive FIA Grade 3 certification.

Motorsports is a lose lose proposition.
abey yaar tu jake mar na saale woh video ka point hai hi nahi toh intni research ka kya point u jobless idiot
Even modified bike, cars are banned in india 😂

There is zero value in this sport.
@@rutvikrs Least blind and delusional fan of cricket.
@@Mr.Beanmiddlefinger I have not watched a single cricket match in a decade, but the sport has undeniably created value.
Now as our friend mentioned it is too costly here's how the problem can be solved:
Bas shokeen cheez hai yaar. There is no value in it.
Not just motorsports, India hates e-Sports as well and "gaming" had been reduced to blatant gambling like Dream 11 and Teen Patti while PUBG is being banned😂
Pubg has what's called gacha system. Pubg's gacha system is worst than Gambling. Pubg is banned because tencent controls it.

2. Paddle shifters dates back to 1910's and was used in militaey heavy load haulers before motorsports adopted it. Regardless they are not used in the larger market.
3. Used in commercial vehicles dating back to 1950's adopted by motorsports in the 90s
@@train_xc I think this speaks to the lack of respect Indians have for concept-to-product. One thing that our political class and bureaucracy does best is putting restrictions on everything they can.
Very true but the decision to restrict FIA is commendable. Crooks don't even allow the host to make money.
#suggestion don't use harsh music(bgm) in video
This is my Dream from childhood to be F1 Driver like sebastian vettel but dont know how will i reach chase this sport any how I hope motor sport should be promoted in India future soon

Good video bhai!
Ish sal September ko MotoGP India mein hone wali hey
Leave Motorsports for a time......even football is neglected...😢
New president ana k bad football may progress to ho raha hay na phela say jada
Wht is football
I've been watching MotoGP since 2009 , fan ever since, but it never came to India until this year , happy that it's getting recognition coz it was not that famous, F1 took the limelight
Isliye log india chhodke bahar padhne aur rehne chale jaa rahe hain. India ki culture, history, heritage sab top notch hai lekin yahan ke log sabse worst hain aur sarkar uss se bhi jyada. Mujhe agar abroad jaane ka mauka mila main wahan jaa ke settle ho jaunga. Just because yahan ke chutiye, tolerant log aur primitive govt mujhe yahan future dark dikhta hai. Yahan taxation itna tight hai ki saans lena muskil hai. Har chiz pe unnecessary tax. Sarkar har chiz se loot rahi hai.

The reason India is not developed is because of a lack of motorsports. Agriculture and Industrialisation were a result of scientists working for F1.
Thank you very brother for covering this topic 😋
Even Sri Lanka has Auto TuTuk racing😢😢
They had billions of visitors due to the event. It's one of the reasons Sri Lanka bailed us out of a currency collapse and buys our oil for us. When will the government wake up? 😂
6:06 Very valuable information but padke😂
Look am not a BJP or a Modi supporter but UP mein Yadav govt. ne mein F1 ko sports ki category nhi balki entertain category mein dala hua tha. Hence the taxation. Aur ye apka thumbnail galat hai. Infact motor sports to revive karega ab just wait and watch. Kindly remove that stupid thumbnail please.
Edit: vo Narayan Kartikeyan wala part ek dam stupid hai first of all.."ek bhi championship nhi jeeti". Ek Indian k kye f1 mein participate karna hi bhot badi baat hai. Unhone koi championship nhi jeeti alag baat hai..Nevertheless he is a Legend, Remember that. Never disrespect our legends. Bade aye f1 fans.
Indian govt and politicians are the reason for so many blunders these days. Ford left India due to taxes, chevy left, general motors and fiat so many other amazing brands. They just don't care at all.
So you want foreign companies to come India ,make profits and don’t pay taxes .
Nor should they care
@@GamingStreet1 you taking about foreign company . Even bcci not pay any tax
@@mousamkonwar12 indian company will pay taxes in India and foreign companies don't . 😂 Saste Nashe
In this case, Biturbo Media wanted to say something about automobiles current issues for its enthusiasts for the sake of saying.
Give me examples of Indian kings giving mercy while surrendering.
Ashoka fought whole India after his last fight converting to Buddhism bcoz he killed many people.
What about wrestling, horse riding, sword fighting?
Motorsports is also an engineering competition among teams, which most people should understand about.
Motorsport just doesn't mean racing. It includes many other things which has even contributed to mainstream norms.
It can create opportunities and interest in mechanical and other fields, mostly way better than what cricket is providing.
You are comparing apples to oranges here.
Ai bot
you r talking nonsense man, King used to hund animals for fun 😂
You r talking about sympathy lol
It's just ridiculous how you compared motorsport with Vedic morals. Motosport is the most complex and hard to understand sport in the world. If you don't understand F1 then we can't think of you to understand such complex philosophy of India itself.
My mom thinks that motorsports is a wastage of time and money and doesn't lets me make a career in it, rather she focoused for IIT

Cricket is boring, not even any major risk of injuries
It has injuries but cricket itself is not interesting, other than playing cricket in gully and fighting.😅
cricket is a lazy people's game its not even a real sport ,its not even physically challenging compared to other sports like basketball, football where your body is constantly in extreme cardio mode with almost no rest at all
