      lets be real..... if he was 1000 Iq. he wouldnt of fucked up. in my opionion he was over early. penalize them. if it was during a green flag him jumping out early may of effected someone else trying to pit, also putting himself in harms way. as usual nascar cant even follow their own rules..... dont miss this sport sadly. laast 15 years its gone to shit imo. poor quality drivers etc

    • @smee5437
      @smee5437 3 года назад +16

      @@FastDuDeJiunn Unfortunately it is all up to how the rules are written. If the rules are not specific enough, you cannot penalize someone for following the rule. All that means is that NASCAR needs to go and rewrite the rule.
      I remember in 1993 when Nigel Mansell got a black flag. He came in served the penalty and then the crew hopped over the wall and performed a pit stop. Other teams cried that it was illegal and Mansell was the one that made the call to have the pit stop performed and told his team that the rules didn't say it was not allowed. CART reviewed the rules and declared that Mansell was indeed correct and that the rules did not state it could not be done as such, it was legal. CART though modified the rules starting at the next race that made that illegal under the rules. How many other teams face a black flag, took the penalty and didn't actually read/understand the rules? It was a loophole that was there for a number of seasons and no one ever actually thought of to take advantage of.
      If you've ever read the rules, they state what is and what is not allowed.
      I stopped watching NASCAR about 20 years ago. The way they operate is horrible. If you finish in 40th, you still earn points??? This are grown men, sorry but if you're out of the top 20, you get nothing, try harder next time. All this does is promote cars that shouldn't be in the race to still be in the race. They do it for the points, get rid of the points and there is no reason why they will still be out there being a rolling roadblock. Race to the chase? Fine, but when you're at the tail end of the races, why are cars out there that are not even in contention? It just allows outside interference into championship results. Get rid of the race to the chase, get rid of the lucky dog, get rid of points beyond 20th place. Stop calling a yellow for every single thing. Bird craps on the track, call a yellow. How many other racing organizations have rain tires? Moto GP, F1, Supercars, etc. CHECK. NASCAR, nope sorry.
