If you have the 11 pro max it is worth upgrading if you have the money too, if not im sure another year wont harm. Just get the battery changed and you’re good to go for another year.
Are the camera lenses and screen the same size?
As a photographer I’m so excited to be able to file transfer with USB-C & play with the new lenses. My mirrorless camera has to be setup for work all the time so it’s nice having what’s essentially a pocket sized camera for everyday use

I believe it’s a good idea to trade in from the 13pm to the 15pm since you may only pay very little… by the time a newer iPhone comes out with different features you can take the same route and trade in the 15pm for what may be the 16pm or ultra

I was planning to get the Apple watch series 7. But I now know the latest chip is the S9 which is in series 9, and the S8 chip is in Series 8 and SE gen2. So I'm confused because Series 8 is expensive and SE gen2 doesn't have always-On display.

I still love my 1TB Sierra Blue 13 PM. The color & specs still have me in a chokehold. I won’t need to upgrade for quite some time.

I have a 13PM and will keep it. The 15PM isn’t enough to upgrade. I’ll see what the 16PM will bring next year. I also want to hang on to the physical SIM tray. I currently have 3 different lines on my 13PM. 1 physical SIM and 2 eSIM’s. Yes, I know I can only have 1 eSIM turned on at a time but it’s as easy as touching the enable button. I need all the lines for my job.

Ahh a video tailored to me 😌 my favorite upgrades are the photo camera upgrade, new A17 Chip, and the upgrades storage as well as the fact it looks really good, although this year I’m gonna go with regular Pro, and not the Pro Max

@@erik5645 for me, it’s because when I’m using my 13 Pro Max I find myself using on hand to text or type and the 13 Pro Max is great for texting with both hands holding the phone and using one hand is okay since I can move the keyboard to either side of the screen and I can also reach the top of the screen by activating the reach ability setting but my issue is that to me it feels a bit uncomfortable using my phone like this when I’m only using one hand which I do prefer sometimes and I think if my phone was smaller I’d feel really good and comfortable on my hand, although the downside is that I won’t get the same camera benefits as the pro max but it’s okay, I usually don’t take pictures from a far so I’m okay with it
@@erik5645 and i think it will feel better in my pocket as it is smaller, (back pocket) (front pocket kills sperm Cells and lowers testosterone because of the battery)

I had the 12 pro max and got the 13 pro because it was just to heavy. I miss the battery though so this time I’m getting the 15 pro max especially as it should be a lot lighter again!
The only thing I miss on the 13PM is that light blue.
So had to get light blue silicone case for my 15PM blue t

Currently own the 13MP and it’s a great phone for my personal requirements , battery life is also 94% at present . I thought about upgrading to the 15MP however as with previous models will wait until it’s been out long enough for the reviews about battery life , any quirks and software issues before I make a decision.

I’m trying extremely hard to make myself wait to upgrade from my perfectly wonderful 13 promax until the 16 promax or ultra comes out. Usually trade up every 3 years, not easy waiting this go around!

Tbh not worth upgrading if you have a 13 Pro max due to not much difference. Only wide came is better and chip. Usbc is not the fast transfer usbc port either. Imma give it a miss and wait another 11 more months. Let the tech improve snd be refined so then it will feel like an upgrade! I actually can only upgrade every 2.5 years (so every 3 generations) because I finance the phone through my phone provider & that’s always a 30 month contract & I always wait for the newest iPhone even if, like this year, that means waiting an additional 6 months or so. This year I upgraded from the 12 Pro max to the base model 15 pro.

I’m definitely upgrading. I upgrade every other phone just because THE difference is AMAZING, it’s not just tiny changes and paying out of pocket every year. It saves money and I get my worth lol

I perform a lot of video editing on my phone and have definitely seen a difference. Just depends how you use your iPhone. At this point for the common user phones are far too powerful for anyone to properly use everything unless you play video games….

If you got alot of money why not, where as not much change for the amount spent, my opinion if you have a 13 pro max its worth waiting another year otherwise next year or in 11months when a 16 pro max comes out with more advanced tech, you will regret and think maybe i should have waited another 11 months. I just got the 13 Pro Max a few months ago on eBay and don’t see a reason to upgrade to the 14 or 15 Pro Max. The phone being titanium wouldn’t make a difference to me since I just put a case on it. The 13 seems fast enough for me. I also get good battery that last on the 13.
Agree about the battery life. I’ve had iPhones since iPhone 3gs and by far, 13 PM has had the best battery life. Im curious about the 15PM battery life
@@Heligafarsan yes my battery on my phone when I got it refurbished thru eBay was 89% battery capacity, I got the 512 gigabyte model for $850. It’s still handling like a champ I don’t really care about the dynamic island and always on display which the 14 pro and 15’s have but I plan on probably upgrading when the 16 or 17 pm comes out. I don’t care much about the notch on the iPhones, I’m pretty used to it

I have the 13 pm. Just upgraded to 15pm . I might return the 15. Screen is bigger in 13pm. 13 more durable. 15 usbc won’t work with my apple car play. I had to buy $30 anker cord usb3.0 to usbc for 15pm. Water proofing gaskets better on more solid phone (13pm)

I love the Blue 13PM but I’m replacing it with Natural Titanium… I’m covering it up with a Pitaka MagEZ Case 5 Moonrise and the new branding looks great with Natural.

@@sixgunfilms it’s simple math… we get a discount by buying a phone with a 2-year agreement for service. You need both to function for personal and business purposes
I also get Corporate discounts and BYOD which makes it extremely cheap. If I kept it I would have to buy out an outstanding balance which would essentially equal one more year of what I’m currently paying for the phone and the service would be exactly the same as well.
It’s also exactly the same as the trade in value. And it continues to depreciate and lose performance. So there wouldn’t be any value until year 4 for me, any at that point you would need to replace the battery at a minimum, maybe the screen too.
Just like a car… once it gets 3-4 years old the maintenance costs increase so you need to pay it off quickly. It can be worth keeping but the performance decreases over time, it’s not as safe to drive etc.
If you buy it and pay full price then yes it could have value. But either way you are paying… less performance and higher maintenance costs with older products or just get used to paying a certain amount for a reliable product and service and replace it regularly.
