I got the 14 pro last year from the 12 mini as my first pro phone due to the camera upgrade. I love this phone and don’t plan on upgrading anytime soon, depending on the next 3-4 years I might replace the battery instead of upgrading when the battery wears out. And honestly I use wireless charging for everything so USB-C isn’t a big deal for me.
A side note for anyone looking at the “new” double pinch feature coming with the Apple Watch series 9, it’s been a feature hidden under the Accessibility settings for years since series 4, it can found under settings - Accessibility - assistive touch and you can customize what each action does. I’ve used it on my series 6 for years.

Yup, I will not be upgrading either. My upgrade schedule hss been every two years since the iPhone XS which aligns w/the even number iPhone model launches.

I am currently on 14 pro max. Decided to upgrade to 15 pro max when it is released but looking at the changes and upgrades in the phone (not many apparently) I have decided to keep using my 14 pro max, perhaps for another 3 more years. Nothing wow…
Right? Finally breaking that yearly upgrade cycle, more people are going to be keeping their phones now since apple can't just keep selling more power, more speed than last gen without new features.
I jumped from a XS Max to a 14PM earlier this year. Thought maybe to wait but glad I didn’t bother. I’ll keep the 14PM for 5 years just like the XS
@@miqotelover Apple’s intent really isn’t for people to upgrade every year. The 15 pro max would probably be targeted at ppl who are using iPhone 11 -13s, if not earlier.
I have the 14 pm as well. I decided to upgrade simply because I get good discounts, it is a lot lighter, feels good in hands and it has usb c.

Is the 8GB RAM upgrade truly been confirmed? I am currently on the iphone11 and planning on upgrading to the 15proMax & the RAM upgrade will be great to have.

Having the iPhone 14 pro I have no intention of buying this one. Nothing major that’s making it worth the update. The only thing I hate about the iPhone is now they really enhance the photo so have found I’m back to using my digital camera instead.

The new battery would definitely be a little better over your current phone however it would not be a significant upgrade.
Try stopping the app refresh in the background, uninstall useless or rarely used apps. See which apps are really draining your battery through settings and restrict their access to increase your battery health

I saw 2 mistakes in the video. The 14 does have Bluetooth 5.3. In addition the batteries on the 15 were rumoured to be increased, however in the end, they are more or less the same size as those in the 14 series
I have an iphone 11 pro max but I would like to upgrade what do you guys recommend? an IPhone 14 pro max or a 15 pro max? It varies a lot in price and don't know if this is worth going for the newer model for the relatively small upgrade, I live in Europe so prices may be different so what do you guys recommend?

14 pro max would make more sense with tried and tested performance and less price if possible.
3nm had no affect on battery life, I wonder if leakage currents are a problem at this density.
What should I do with my 11pro?
I currently own the iPhone 14 Pro, and the new iPhone 15 Pro/Max doesn't quite elicit that "wow" factor for me. Consequently, I've decided to stick with my current iPhone and won't be upgrading at this time.
As for my Apple Watch Ultra 1, the updated version doesn't particularly impress me. While the double-tap feature may seem useful, it doesn't compel me to make the switch from version 1 to version 2 for just this minor enhancement.
I had hoped to see the release of a new iPad mini, but unfortunately, that didn't materialize during the event.
It's worth noting that Apple's stock has seen a decline of around 2%, suggesting that the market's reception of the product launch has been less than enthusiastic.
The stock is down due to CCP threats of banning American smartphones and then pulling back on those statements. AAPL would lose a significant market share if this happens estimates says 23% of Chinese market share which equates to roughly 1/5 of total AAPL sales and service. I love the technology and equipment... Can't stand the company and the direction they've gone/headed as I fear they have their sites set on copying our personalities, physical appearances, using spatial camera techniques and AI which are designed to replace human to human interactions. They made their stance on this clear during lockdowns, pandemic, and now with the VR and spatial scanning systems. Just look at the patents they've already filled along with Disney and other players. Won't be long before we're sitting at home on IV simply living the majority of our lives in the metaverse. Call me crazy with some respectful arguments, questions, etc. I'm 15+ years Sr upper management in tech, know a thing or two, I've seen too much 😂 y'all be buying iPhone when they downgrade everything and remove headphone jacks or when they come out with a feature we've had on Samsung for years. This does look like a great mobile camera yet I'm not convinced for $1500 I can't do better with Cannon or Nikon..rant over. Thanks for the amazing content and warm vibes hopefully I didn't go off the rails too deep to get blocked or anything. It's all from love. Just fearful of the direction we're headed and seeing these features confirms those fears. ✌️😳🖤😂😅⚡
The decline always happens after an event same with Quarter sales numbers market dips a bit and then rebounds. Also you should keep your watch for like 5 years before upgrading anyways these small upgrades are just to entice people with older devices yearly upgrades not worth it.
@@RossMKF1 I agree. My friend is using the iPhone 10 and is still happy with it. It is still fast. One of the reason why I upgraded from 13 Pro Max to 14 Pro is because it is smaller and lighter. the newer model with 20 grams lighter not worth the money.

I’ll be honest this wanderlust was a bit of a disappointment. Titanium and a new chip. They do new chips every year. USB C. It’s 11 years behind android. I have the iPhone 14 pro max and glad I’m not getting the 15 PM. Just seems like a waste if your one generation previous. Nothing much has changed.
But there again we said the same for the 14 to the 13 like we did for the 13 to the 12. Its only a BIG upgrade is you are coming from say a iPhone 11 or 12 to a 15
@@MattTalkTech14 is quite good as it introduce the island punch hole and get rid of the notch . It has new pro-motion 120hz which 13 don’t have when all the androids at it’s time have 120hz . This year ? Really just titanium upgrade and .. pretty much nothing else . It’s not as a big step up like it’s from 13 to 14 . Action button ? Lol it’s weird . The silent to general is the best choice for the button . So why the action button tbh unless you can set it to multiple actions by the numbers of press .

But man I’m digging the Titanium that 7x zoom lens and that 6 Core GPU for gaming. Pro models are always the way to go. I think with the 256 with the pro max they should have kept the price the same. 13 pro has 120hz so I’d say that’s more worth it unless you go 15 pro which also has 120hz.

The ray tracing hardware on the 15 pro and 15 pro max is akin to desktop raytracing so for gamers this is a very large upgrade in games like genshin that support it.
