- Bruised and exhausted from being tossed about in the Long River, then crawling ashore to find a temporary refuge in a cavern full of bones, Helga could only stare blankly at the circle of weapons and ratfolk surrounding her and the others. She'd nearly died for the third time in as many days, and now she was being threatened yet again. Any spark of defiance or fear had been snuffed out, leaving only ashes.

Oh, now we get something interesting. So dragons become birds of prey, but only partially shift, while retaining some draconic traits? The rules of this plane get more interesting by the day. I wonder what happened to Loot? But until we find out, we'll have to be happy with Ral getting a chance to show his stuff, while also getting to know his new friends. Thanks for another wonderful chapter, and I can't wait for the next episode!
I'll bet that the interplanar magic that suffuses dragons thanks to the Ur-dragon is why they partially keep their form.
So I take it Kolagahn has survived being Phyrexianized and had now made herself over to Bloomburrow.
It was never confirmed it was Kolagahan in the art for Invasion of Tarkir.

Four wings. For a minute I was afraid it was Bolas, but 4 wings! Did a Kolaghan dragon learn to planeswalk or can living beings be brought across the blind eternitities now. A lightning blasting mystery!!!

Possibly Kolaghan herself. The teasers hinted at this being a legendary creature.
I mean lightning eyes colour multiple wings yeah that and we were told this current saga is about dragons rather then Kellen
