Great to have these available but you gotta add a little pause when a scene changes so it doesn’t feel like a book with no chapters despite the story taking a break.

Some silence between them helps a lot they kinda blend together otherwise when you only listen

After listening through both of those - piece of feedback: maybe do a bit of a longer pause or in another way punctuate when the scene is changing, when we leap between two perspectives or characters.
I kept getting caught of guard by the sudden words that did not fit the situation only to realize after a moment, that we are in a different scene, as at 5:16. Especially with the graphics not changing between those either.

Agreed. Things like this are amateur, but not everyone can do impressions. At least the speaks well.

I really like how in the Kate Elliot novel there’s a lot of implications of a far greater stranger world but it doesn’t dwell on them. Trees with eyes and stuff like that just casually brought up.

A thing i just realized, has wizards ever tried doing a story first then cards based off that? Like the best part of lotr was that random commons had thematic effects. You can design cards off the story rather than creating a loose story about a full set you already made

They did with the original Champions of Kamigawa block. It was great for the story but a disaster for the cards.

WotC does both "bottom-up" design where the mechanics of the set are considered first, and "top-down" design to fit a theme or narrative. When they do it well, it's hard to tell which is which, because both sides turn out good : )
