If you have extra veggies left over like this, you could make it stir fry night and just cook them up. Otherwise you can put them in a freezer container and use them for stir fry, soups, fried rice, etc later. I'm sure the chickens enjoyed it though

Aww..The chickens love their vegetables. I have a cockatiel who loves to snack on carrots, broccoli and his favorite acorn squash. He won't touch any type of fruit though.
I wanted to stop at Whole Foods and try that dino kale. I'm thinking it would be a great addition to my smoothies:)

If you think about it vinegar has been used as a preservative for ages. Fruit, especially berries definitely lasts longer when washed with a vinegar/water solution. I put my asparagus in a cup with a bit of water in it and cover tops with a zip bag. But it takes me longer to use it than most people. The most nutrients in a carrot is in the outer layer, so just wash them and cut off any parts such as the ends and enjoy. Did you know white vinegar is a cheap and excellent fabric softener for your clothes. I have not bought that expensive fabric softener for 10 plus years.

a little tip (that I learned from my mom) - you can buy dill and parsley in bulk, chop em up and just put them in containers or ziplock bags and stash them in the freezer. Keeps them fresh for a long time, so they don’t wilt as opposed to in the fridge!

Of course this makes life a lot easier - but you do know, that vegetables and fruit lose their vitamin after being cut. And the loss is massive. Freezing is a way better method there to prep food.
What happened to the changes to your channel that you were going to announce?
Your chickens are very cute & sweet, but if I had chickens, I don’t think I would be able to eat chicken any longer - I know you don’t eat yours, but you know what I mean - once they become like pets, I wouldn’t want to see chicken on my plate
I would never eat our hens, they are my babies. I believe laying hens and fryer chickens are different.
