Denzel paid for that apple with community service
Earlier they gave him the fish for free so I’m sure the apple was no problem lol
💯🔥😅🔥🔥🔥
My man deserves a full course Italian meal
Throughout the movie there's a common theme: he leaves a trail of brutal kills for the antagonist to discover before he eventually kills them. Poetic in a way, instilling fear in those who uses it to oppress
The fear of death is fitting to use against those who use it as a tool.
That was my favorite part of the movie.
Exactly
I love that the most painful deaths were to the big bad guys whilst the goons had the most painless ones. It annoys me when protagonists kill thugs whilst sparing the main bad guy.
You need Christ among other things
damn, he was like the angel of death when chasing the dying mafia boss
Oml yes.
The way he just looms over him, always in his shadow. The way the gate just sorta willed itself open for him. Brilliant!
@@YoFrymanhe pressed the control in his hands
Facts
Denzel literally dog walked that mafia boss to his death. Lol
That's because Vincent said that he was going to kill Robert like a dog so Robert ended up showing him who was actually the dog and who was the master. It was very poetic, powerful and profound ending scene.
More like a death angel
He sure did. Talk about poetic justice. Daaaaamn!
Imagine watching someone slowly die in front of you, yet still being calm enough to softly sing a song with no apparent sense of nervousness.
That’s some Grim Reaper shit.
Ikr it was fucking cold, almost like a horror movie scene 🥶☠️
the way he followed that guy like the shadow of death was terrifying. just waiting for the inevitable end while watching, made me shudder.
Guess we finally got a glimpse of the kind of things McCall wasn’t so proud of from his past.
True... Should have paid for that apple...
@@stefanmarinov2864 My wife barely spoke a word the entire movie but commented on why was food out on the street for the critters and bugs to get at?
It’s conceivable that Bourne and McCall underwent the same training protocol
@@michelmendoza1769 Yes, I think its called acting school
I’ve said it many times. This movie shows just how much of a psychopath he really is. He’s like the new Michael Myers.
Watching this part again, I cant help but think that while the mafia boss was stumbling around and ODing. He probably thought that he is imagining McCall who just casually following him until he dropped dead.
Possibly. ODing usually doesn’t come with hallucinations this vivid or would he be that delirious.
Robert Mccall, the stealth version of John Wick
Meh, stealth is a waste of time if you leave no witnesses anyway
John wick doesn't need to be steathy if the whole society are assassins
@@thanhnguyentien5825I think the equalizer and John wick would have a long fight not sure who would win
He was such a badass because he was highly trained. But mostly because he executed WITHOUT HESITATION
McCall following him while singing the old hymn “I know it was the blood” was so chilling….
I enjoyed the symbolism here at the end. He says we all have to face death eventually. Instead of facing him after cutting his bonds he ran as McCall followed him like Death, waiting patiently till the end. "A coward dies a thousand times before his death, but the valiant taste of death but once. It seems to me most strange that men should fear, seeing that death, a necessary end, will come when it will come." ― William Shakespeare, Julius Caesar
Proving that even in death Vincent was a coward.
Icse board se ho ?? 😅
That is a great analogy. You see this act as symbolism, and even point to ol` Willie for the summary. I think you touch on it very well. I (unfortunately) do not have my Shakespeare down, and that is a great quote. I have no love for J.Caesar at all however. And of course, he never said those words. Great insight by you however!! Cheers!
@ELVIS-2022 You died man. How the fuck are you using a `puter in 2023 ? No cell phones or puter in 1977 king. That fuckin white suit has melted your brain along with all the drugs you did and all of the impacted feces in your guts. You had as much packed fudge as John Fu$%@#! Wayne, what, 14 lbs.?
@ELVIS-2022 I am breakin your chops of course. The guy made a great analogy, but it was really not as profound as I seemed to praise his comment waaaaay too much. I always like to see an interesting comment cuz 80% of them are jokes or insults, and I over reacted man.
The quote about the valiant facing and accepting death is very true regarding the sacrifice Stoick the Vast made to save his son Hiccup in How To Train Your Dragon 2. He didn’t care if he died or not as long as his son would live.
Denzel is so great in these films representing justice.
He does not represent justice. He represents vengeance. Justice would be following the rules of society, even for those who don't deserve it. Arresting them. Giving them a fair trial. Rehabilitating them. Administering the punishments that we as a society have determined to be fair for their crimes.
These movies are not about justice.
@@marshallc6215

@@ReallyBadService I could not have given a better example.
@@marshallc6215Not when it comes time to face the reaper. It's a reminder to be obedient to the ten commandments and stay on the narrow path because in the spiritual realm these reapers exist. When someone have many times to redeem themselves eventually God says enough and sends in backup. Protecting the innocent and sealed as God sees fit our job is to obey the ten commandments.
It is always so luscious when the bad guy gets fear thrown into their face. They are all so ready to use it and I see few ready to payback costs.
Mafia boss getting a taste of his own medicine.
I love how the statues are a metaphor for angels watching him kill someone. Thats great directing and cinematography.
If the director and the team building this story is reading this, thank you for giving me a new feeling in life. It was the best movie i saw in my entire life and I've watched a lot of movies since i was a kid. I never thought ill never experience goosebumps again watching movies. I salute u guys.
Have you ever watched sinister???? One of the best horror movies and no happy ending
This is down right spooky.
If John *was* the Babajaga then what the hell is the Equalizer😵
The Angel of Death
The baba yaga's cousin 😂
Nah, they said John Wick was the guy you sent after to kill the boogeyman, and the Equalizer is the boogeyman
@@robertanthony5905exactly 😂
People giving Denzel props but, imagine acting the guy dying? That fear is so fkin real!! I have to say from experience, it is NOT easy to enact dying by blade, drugs and impalement. Like... how often do you die? lololol
this was the best Equalizer of them all.
And first one too. The second was ok.
Denzel's Grim Reaper moment 👻
If my memory is correct the boss claimed he would be back. Robert merely expedited the process
“Do unto others BEFORE they do unto you”
Just saw the movie yesterday. I think of these stealthy brutal kills of Batman if he broke his no killing rule this is how he would do it. Denzel is basically like death itself and their was nothing they could’ve done
I love the oranges, ala The Godfather, nice little touch.
McCall attacked his enemies before they could do so … smart.
Denzel makes movies that scare the crap out of bad guys. I like that. He kills those that lack a conscience.
I'd like to know what Mccall gave to the Mafia boss, 4:49 because on the floor next to him we can see white stamps on the floor. How did Mccall manage to give it to the boss without him being able to see and feel when he gave it to him
• movies don't "scare the crap out of bad guys". or nice guys. incidentally.

Denzel is the true bad guy here. He didn't pay for that fruit at the end. Thou shall not steal. I'm okay with it though. 😆
Not sure he didn't pay. That corpse he left out front probably had some jewelry worth something...
Subscribing The fruits
He probably knows the owner of the fruit shop, he'll pay later.
He went back the next day and paid. Blame the edit that you missed that part.
@LittleBlacksheep1995 what did he kill him with?
Denzel's character here is so well done in these movies. He's stoic and thoughtful and loves life and beautiful people, but also has a dark side where he plays with his food. Really shows the duality of human nature and how someone who might be your worst nightmare is a damn teddy bear for someone else, very true to life. I have a manager who's hated my guts for seemingly no reason since I started at my job a year ago, yet Ive seen her turn around and goof off on her phone with her favorite workers on the clock
Yes, some people are very two-sided.
These movies make me nut, why else would they be so violent if not for me to bust fat wads all over the screen? Anyways you sound annoying so im gonna let her know you're being let go. Okay see ya im gonna go donate blood because of my extremely rare blood type. I just love giving back to the community

The score in this movie is a masterpiece.
I was looking to see this comment. That crying sound when he was killing was just badass and the end just gave me that whole “Godfather” vibe while still having its uniqueness. A true masterpiece.

Nine Seconds....
This scene was a cinematic masterpiece tied in a beautiful bow. If this the end of the trilogy, wow it didn't disappoint.
"The Reaper (Death) loves apple".
Hmm so familiar. I read it somewhere. 🤔 Anyways I love the scene.
That’s why Ryuk in Death Note always eats apples🍎
Bro giving this man a gun, seeing what he can do without one is insane
It’s very chilling that the nasty vicious people encounter someone on their level and look so pathetic
Yes specially for a so call mafia boss is very pathetic
Taunting him that hell, flame and blades await him in less than 6 minutes is fucking savage.
5.27... Marlon Brando in the end of Apocalypse Now. "Horror, horror..." and the music after is a kind of hommage to Morricone... beautiful.
Good spot, also saw shades of the Godfather's parade/baptism murders at the end. Very nice.
The main villain 's acting was also good. It's not easy to act dying role with long passage~~ Physically hard~~
BEST villain of the 3
Acting wise
Out of all Denzel's kills in these 3 movies, this one was by far the coldest.
When it came to terrorizing people, the Mob boss was a complete rookie compared to Robert McCall.
I like how they portray him as some kind of supernatural demon in these movies. Reminds me of batman
The way he stalks him simply just to watch his death😈😈😈
This scene is like a Caravaggio painting. The Equalizer series is getting better and better.
And let this be a lesson to all there's always someone badder than the bad guy out there
So who would we have to send to go get Denzel then?!! Bourne? 50 cent? John Wick?
Always think of all the men in special forces or ex cia spooks. You may be bad in your own head but theres far worse men out there than you or me.
The moral “Always keep your flip flops near the bed”
They always ask "Who are you?" The answer? The angel of death.
Like how each movie Denzel allows the bad guy to die more slowly and painfully.
Yes to this
A certified Grim Reaper classic
In this evil world it would be good to have some Denzel for real, no more war, no criminal, no more child molester, no more dictator, my wish for Christmas 2023 .
just for the record, this world is not evil or good. I say it's a neutral world we live in. Thus, the world can be good and evil at the same time.
That was a quite intense scene. Wow
The Images in this scene are amazing! Incredibly beautiful in a fatalistic way - Film Noir in color, and I never thought that was possible!
The weird thing was that it wasn't all the violence that got me! It was the bad guy pulling glass out of the soles of his feet! OUCH! 😫😫
Same
Reminds me of Die Hard when the bad guy realised he wasn’t wearing shoes and breaks all the computer screens.
The constant spitting up grossed me out.
Bruce Willis did it first.
@FleetingForeground
It wasn't the computer screens. Gruber ordered his men to "shoot the glass" meaning the windows. Watching McLean pull the glass out of his feet was brutal.
I love the Equalizer series. Just watched E3 this morning. This scene was awesome.
The power of the Internet has exposed all the World's evil ones.
Now it will just take time to get them all.
Grande ator e ser humano. Denzel é nota 10
After seeing all his men dead I’m actually surprised that Vincent didn’t play the only move he had left and put the barrel of his gun into his own mouth before Denzel got to him first. Then again, if he had any brains at all Vincent should have left with his gang whilst he still had a chance, instead of dying in the most undignified, terrified, and painful death imaginable.
PRIDE always came before the FALL.
Vincent meaner than a Scorpion but crawled out of his lair like a dog and got hit by a car just like one
Er spielt die Szene so gut er kann sie so gut präsentieren 😊❤❤ und die Musik gefällt mir auch dazu ❤❤
hervorragend❤
This man, john wick plus liam neeson character in one frame, can kill thanos in seconds without avengers 😂
I wish to take an informal survey, what’s worse Robert’s death stare when the younger brother dies or being serenaded with “You got the blood?” As some of the last sounds you will hear in this lifetime?
That screeching, grating soundtrack made the accompanying scene that much more horrifying. Geez!
Denzel is the man. Any movie he is in you know it's going to be great
Para mi es la mejor trilogía de los últimos 15 años en el cine..denzel espectacular!!
What a badass Mr. McCall 😊
Every element is flawless. That's quality control.
I knew there was something about the guy when I first saw him on St. Elsewhere
I love how dark this movie was

He's like the Grim Reaper following along the boss
He stole an apple....what a criminal.
one of the greatest villain Slaying moments in action movies of all time
Free commercial for the Grannie Smith apples!!!
I like all the Equalizer parts for the ethics these "badass" movies want to convey through Denzel Washington's character and so well done by Antoine Fuqua. I hope Denzel continues to do more parts if it's not the end.
I like how in this film compared to the other two this one is a Horror film the music everything makes McCall out to be not an avenger or a hero (to be fair none of the film really do that but this one really sent it home.) he is a MONSTER by every definition when he first kills that mafioso kid he is smiling as he avoids his attacks before putting his own knife through his throat, at the start of the film he says something so simple "He wouldn't let me in so...he should have let me in" even a trained killer does not go to killing literally everyone as his first option for someone not letting him in to get what he wants that is someone who LOVES killing people does after he walks out he nearly ends his own life knowing that his first thought when that kid shot him was to kill that kid who looks no older than 10 maybe 12 tops. Then here he revels in inflicting fear on this guy he sings tunes and casually follows him until he finally dies then eats an apple and walks away as if nothing ever happened.
TLDR: This film out of three is just straight up a horror film with how everything is done.
Whomever composed the music for these scenes, I salute you.
I was waiting for this 🎉
5:49 That’s the million dollar question
He doesn't make this guy suffer enough. 😛
I love the statues watching in silence.
Denzil is in the top 5 actors working today. He is believable and effective in what he does, the looks he gives, and the justice he brings to the bad guys. In every movie he has ever been in he commands center stage. No other actor could ever play the part of Robert McCall.
I would rank him number 1 but that's just my opinion ❤
not true. other actors could cover the part. Denzel excells at the role.
If you’re the bad guy, don’t ever take your boots off
