Omg you make me fall in memories into 80ths, pre-digital era. Not many possibilities but a lot of imagination. We were mining the coolest sounds from everything around. The weird phaser effects were making from an acoustic guitar by the spoons on strings. The Wah-wah effects were making by putting the mic in and out of the glass jar. The endless experiments with two bobbin tape recorders. The complicated circuits to get any kinds of acoustic feedbacks and distortions. And those days (very later Soviet Union) there appeared a lot of industrial abandones around with huge sounding objects to record. What a times! Happy to see people who make sound today not only with mouse and controllers, hehe. Thank you Gautier and Sylvain.
The amount of creativity needed to make these sound effects doesn't change, whether it's via computer or like this doesn't matter too much. PC just makes it a bit easier to twist things you recorded and or get the sound you want to
@@nenissaK Thank you! Yes, indeed. I think filling the process itself with soul is always being imprinted to result, it's hearable in final recordings or any product. Guys in video perfectly feel that magic :) P.S. Thank you for subscribing, glad to see you!
@@botanic3428 Thanks for opinion. If I get you right I'd don't agree. Yes today I make mostly digital sound design, of course it's much easier and and effort-saveable. Some are punk bands, some are neo metal/hip hop inspired, some are indus, cyber metal, but trust me, Eths and DK Dance are true gold. Female voices. And Lofofora is cult in France. Enjoy ! I love this approach to creating and the fact that they are willing to think both inside and outside the cookie box. The camera inside the steel drum was merlin!
With the second song uploaded on RUclips I was worried this release would be to Metal, but after this video I'm sure this is going to be a epic and refreshing album again!
I don't know, I think the recorder is having too much interference in his work. He is using more traditional riffs and grooves, some of the baroque and erudite elements are missing, also the strange experimentalism in his electronics works, I still thinking this album will change a lot his style to something less strange to catch a bigger public
This is so damn awesome, I really like your thinking. I've thought about completely different stuff i'd want to record, like an old school diesel locomotive and start engines and much more. But the most unique is probably a number of nails in a tire that hits the fender and works like a small music box, but with darker notes. I'm so looking forward to the upcoming album release! I love your originality!
I was actually pretty into heavy metal, growing up. Of course I liked Rammstein but also an Italian thrashmetal group, Sisthema. It's been a hell of a long time since I've listened to either. I only know one other person who's ever heard of Sisthema, here in my little Pennsylvania town. 😂

How can you achieve the effect with the tin can cookie box ? trying to obtain that effect for ages, and the closer I got is actually with elastic time on pro tools...
I wish people would break down the actual production aspect of it regarding all of the tweaking and modulating and everything to do with altering recorded sounds through programs, like it seems like unless you have a course to take or an apprenticeship, these things aren’t accessible for beginners

one of the best things is that you can insert basically any sort of sound in an Igorrr song and it will still sound good

As the tone snob that I am, I prefer ginger bread cookie boxes. You can really hear the sugar and spice in them.
But it's not everything nice, which is why girl scout cookie boxes are the best all round.
that chord change at 1:07 is the reason I live for IGORRR! love metal too but to me that is the sound that only Igorrr can deliver
