I saw Igorrr live with Melt Banana and Otto Von Schirach. I came for the openers but ended up blown away by Igorrr. They quickly became a favorite.

@nekropiate616 A few things to try from Igorrr: Cheval, Himalaya Massive Ritual, Tout Petit Moineau and Tendon. I'm not super familair with Melt Banana, but those would give you some idea of what Igorrr is about, maybe.

I saw them live in Pontiac, Michigan, this year. It was my 9 year old boy's first concert ever. It's a show we'll all remember. It was such an amazing night!

Oh man Ordo ad Chao is such a beautiful album, easily my favorite sounding Mayhem release and absolutely perfect production. Song structures are perfect and Attila's vocal choices are glorious. There's something about that album that gives me the same warm comforting feeling as Dodheimsgard's A Umbra Omega
I really like the remaster of Grand declaration too. It needed it. Another band from Rune is Ava Inferi. Followed all of their stuff too. Too bad it’s no more. I loved the contrast of that to all the more extreme metal stuff.
My favorite from Mayhem is Wolf Lair Abyss. Somewhat forgotten, but its just so evil and Maniac really pushes with the vocals

loved igorrr since Poisson Soluble along with the other side projects. The expansion into a band was great too and this list is full of great stuff.
All musicians start off as listeners. Their range is conspicuous in their music, but it is heartening to find an offstage confirmation.

I learned maybe 1 or 2 years ago that Dream Brother was writen based on the frienship between Jeff Buckley and Chris Dowd from Fishbone, they even made an album together.

My most listened Mayhem album also happens to be Chimera, I just love every second of it. Probably my favourite from their full-length studio albums.
I hated Ordo when it came out, it was almost unlistenable to me. And then one day it found me in the right mood, and it just clicked into place. So I've bought the metal slipcase/red jewelcase CD version. It's brilliant, but doesn't give away itself easily.
