It amazes me how many A listers the muppet show had even when they first started. A testament to Jim Henson's popularity. Thanks Andy, Justin, and Tyler. Just Awesome!!!❤❤❤
This is one of the coolest shows you've done! And your talent for voices is amazing! You totally pegged Gonzo...I hope someone sees this that can get you to record voices like you did for Knott's.
What a golden opportunity to play with Muppets. You actually did pretty good on the voices. I love Randomland on Location. And thanks to Tyler for the amazing camera work. Great job!
OMG, you found the right audience here!!! I would just DIE to see this exhibit!!! It's a shame to take it all down! You should have your own permanent museum-attraction! And THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing your stories! You don't know how badly I needed this today... (=D ****
@@bugginonthewall Maybe Dave will hire him, since Dave is getting a bit long in the tooth, hence why he does the voices in post-production edits nowadays (as evidenced by Boober & Uncle "Travelling" Matt on the _Back to the Rock_ _Fraggle Rock_ reboot).
I have always loved Henson and the Muppets as far back as I can remember. What an amazing set replica, it’s like every Muppet fan’s dream to visit some place like this! It does belong in a museum! I loved the Mahna Mahna reenactment!!!
I have died and have gone to Muppet heaven!! What an honor to be there! Wow!! Unbelievable!!! I remember the cover of Time magazine when Jim Henson died...Kermit hugging his director chair, it was so sad!!
I grew up watching a VHS of the Muppet Show, recorded off TV by my grandmother in New Zealand! Quite the dedicated gift from her - she'd record one week onto the tape for my family, next week onto another tape for my cousins. So I know half the episodes inside out - Gladys Knight, Buddy Rich, Linda Ronstadt, Elton John - who was practically a Muppet himself at that point! I have another cousin who's non-verbal Autistic, and Muppets were her absolute favourite thing. There's just something that got through to her! Come on Disney, so all about IPs and nostalgia, give us more Muppets in the parks?
The best part about RUclips is finding kindred spirits in what I love, and god do I love the Muppets! The Muppet Room was so fantastic a place by itself, but seeing and hearing all of the stories behind each of the different autographs and pictures just made me so happy that there are other Muppet fans out there. Some, like Andy, have even lived the dream and I think that's just special. ❤️
Maybe Henson Studios or a television museum would love to have this for fans to experience. Or create an Andy Walmsley experience of multiple rooms for stage design, Lucas, Henson, and Disney fans.

One of my dear friends worked with the Henson company for the production of Fraggle Rock (which Jim Henson wasn't heavily involved with) and lived in Toronto for the shooting. Seeing this (because she was present during, but not working for the production of The Muppet Show) is very much bringing to the fore things and people she has mentioned. Yes, it was shot in England, but interestingly enough, the shooting schedule could only be six months. The American performers would be income taxed in both Britain and America if they loved in Britain for longer than six months. So the shoot was something like 5 months and 29 days and then they all had to go elsewhere. I met Karen Prell once in San Francisco - she bought me coffee - and she is such a sweet person. This is not to say I'm friends with Ms. Prell, but she was so friendly when we met.

This is amazing. I am totally jealous. Thank you soo much for doing this. The Muppets show was such a huge part of my childhood. The manamana song is sooo timeless. I used to bother my brothers constantly with this song. I still annoy people with it too this day. Thank you soo much Justin for bringing back these amazing memories.
I love this video. Some of my fondest memories as a child are watching the Muppets ...wayyyy back in the 1970's lol. Justin.. you are amazing at voices. Randomland on location is just great. You need a PBS show. I wish I had production power. lol. Thank you for all of your work (and Tyler...you are very appreciated).
THIS is so EPIC!! interesting as well!!
I LOVED Ice Warriors as a kid! Amazing Video Justin, this is such a treat for a theatre fan, let alone a Muppet fan!
This might be the best video on all of RUclips
This is officially my favorite video on RUclips…
