I want to play Crucifixus... How does one "amplify" the piano? Can that movement be played without an amp? Also, how can you learn to find the harmonics on the piano reliably? Are they marked?
So amplification can be as easy as micing the piano and turning on/off the speakers as needed (using a stage assistant). The harmonics are notated in the score but the can also be delineated using tape as in the performance
