It's interesting to see how the 6650 XT requires only 500w PSU but consumes the same watts and sometimes even more watts than the 6700 that requires a minimum of 650w PSU 😅 What's going on there?
I now have rx 6650 xt before that was rx 6500xt it's just sky and earth in terms of performance just almost all games on ultra settings (except gnarled ports with ps4).

That would be silly. When you test a GPU you don’t want any chance of the CPU bottlenecking the performance. So it is better to us a CPU that is way faster then it needs to be. We are testing the GPU not the over all system.
Starfield is a real optimization crap, it remind me Fallout 4 and situation in Boston when drop to 15-20 even on top GPU I have 6600xt(sapphire nitro+) with 5 3600x and 35FPS(1080p, ultra) in Atlantis and you 7800X3D give you only five more... shame Bethesda.

my cpu is about 12 years old lol so i cant use the full power of the gpu but playing red dead 2 on ultra 1080 i get average of 55 fps which goes around 70 in empty spaces like jungles and deserts but in big towns its come around 30 , u think its normal?@@mcdk72

The 6600 plus 5600 is a smooth operator in a 32 gb rog strix setup. I can game 5-6 hours on 1 kwh and get great gaming. Best experience ever at this price point.

Задача среднебюджетной ИГРОВОЙ карты дать удельный фпс на уровень шума, с перегревом не выше заданного уровня (обычно 75-80), и как можно дешевле. Это при работе с видео и тем более майнинге шум не играет роли, там производительность всё. А в играх хочется погружение и чтобы ничего не отвлекало. А это не получится, если у вас в системнике печка с 1500+ рпм. Так что на мой взгляд 6650хт здесь самое адекватное предложение. 6600 для тех кто хочет дешевле, ок, вопросов нет. 6700 может выдать больше фпс, но она и жарче, и громче, и дороже. 6600хт в принципе на хрен не нужна рядом с 6650хт.

А вообще, надо понимать, что чем мощнее видеокарта, тем проще её настроить на низкое потребление. И она будет выдавать тот же ФПС, что и более слабая видеокарта, но при этом и потреблять меньше.
Just get RX6700 or RX6700XT if you have the budget and its good in the long run. Considering GPU price in the past year is near msrp. I expect once bitcoin price increase again, the GPU price will go up high again.
7800X3D paired with mid grade gpu is doing the processor injustice. That's like putting regular unleaded gas in a Ferrari. 😂 But at least we know cpu is not the bottle neck.
Of course. Even with my 1660 Super I can play more than 60fps in my 1080p monitor. Having a good CPU and RAM helps, and it also depend on the game because there are some that are unoptimized games

I would go with the Rx 6600 rather than the gtx 16XX series because it has fewer vram and it's launched in 2019. The Rx 6600 is much newer

In my opinion I would save up the extra for an Rx 6650 xt as it performs better then the Rtx 3060 and nearly matches the rtx 4060 in performance.
