I have to thank Uwe Boll for giving me hours and hours and hours and hours of great entertainment and i dont mean the movies except Rampage maybe. Id buy him a beer or six thats for sure.
Tommy Wiseau's actors loves him and respected him.. hell a hollywood actor even made a funny Biographical movie about his film and instead of hating the criticism he have fun with it UWE bolls on the other hand actors hated him because he was a douche plus he dosnt accept criticsm about him he even created a letterboxd account to criticise movies who have higher praise than him
It was simply business for him, he was MAKING MONEY abusing specific German laws, creating obscene trash, killing franchises. And when thankfully Germany closed that hole, he stopped making movies.
Are you a fan of his work? Because it's pretty simple conclusion. Let's look at the budget and box office of some of his movies: 1. BloodRayne - Budget:25 mil/BO Worldwide:3,650,275 2. Alone in the Dark - 20 mil/10,442,808 3. Postal - 15 mil/146,741 4. House of the Dead - 12 mil/13,818,181 Wow!, good job, Uwe! And despite his movies almost always turning a loss, unanimous abysmall reviews from critics and moviegoers someone's still to this day gives this guy money to make more movies. Do you really think it's because of his stellar personality and charisma?
@@Hikkikomoru They use to have huge Tax Credits/Rebates for films in his country, that's how he got his films made but the gov cut back on the tax incentives for film and his financing dried up.
Uwe's masterpiece is "Postal" and have to be seen uncensored. I wish he would make a sequel to Postal, or another parody. If you are easily offended, do not watch Postal. ;)
"Easily offended"? More like, "If you can be offended at all, do not watch Postal" The film goes out of it's way to make sure rational human beings will be disgusted. Nothing easy about that. Fun watch, though. If you a degenerate, you should watch it.
It certainly speaks a lot that his best movie is the one with the least amount of plot possible to ruin. But I have to make a counter-point: why would I wanna watch a Postal movie, when I could be having more fun playing the games in an interactive medium?
I understand his frustration but dude is just not a good director. Or movie maker. Where ever the problems are located in his process, it doesnt matter - the outcome is always kind of incoherent, kind of weird, warped and boring.
When I saw this trailer, it was the first time I came across this director and immediately the character from Entourage popped in my head ( Verner Vollstedt played by Stellan Skarsgård ) ruclips.net/video/DyQRa6RCW8k/видео.html
Uwe has made a lot of movies, most of them rather bad. But not any worse than the newest Predator or many other bigger budget franchise movies. He also has more integrity than most executive producers in Hwood.
I wouldn't say he has strong moral principles due to how his success as a director rode entirely on a loophole in German law, but I will agree that there's probably many who are worse than him. I'm happy that loophole got patched up so that it's harder for people to make success on intentionally making their movies terrible.
No. To answer the question. Rian Johnson is the worst director of all time. Uwe Boll at least has the guts to admit his disdain for everyone. Rian Johnson is _so_ disingenuous, he famously said he hopes his films are hated by half the audience. I offer The Last Jedi as evidence.
Amen. There hasn't been a more condescending director until Rian Johnson. Brick was really well made. Everything else he did was overrated. TLJ was a dumpster fire and pretty much single handedly destroyed and made an entire franchise now have an awful taste in its' mouth.
Uwe Boll got into a twitter fight with me because I critiqued one of his movies and then he blocked me lol. It was glorious.

Come on man! Put it somewhere people can see it outside of US. Amazon Prime wont accept european credit cards.
Uwe is Love.

that "hole" was closed many years ago. last movie he financed that way was Far Cry in 2008.
@@stigkenobi7525 he did Far Cry 5 even made fun of him with the character Guy Marvel.
He sadly, moved on to Canada where he abuses a similar law.
When will the release of this film?
RoadRunner Out now on Amazon Prime!
Instead of making a documentary you could've just released a black text on white background that says "Money laundering".
Big words. Do you have proof?

I'm not saying you are wrong but he probably make his money on DVD/Blu-ray sales
HAHAHA i thought the same thing

He is not a very good director but he managed to shoot few movies which i described at least good
He has made one of the best concentration camp depictions, with his short movie.
1:47 It wouldn't surprise me one bit if his chair was made out of human skin from 'missing' film critics.

How about "Hobo with a shotgun" then? Or "Lets talk about Kevin"?

This looks amazing, when is it coming out?
Eze Brizuela Thanks! It's out now on Amazon Prime!
Where I can watch it???
Кирилл Якимец Out now on Amazon Prime!

Uwe Boll may have made bad movies but if you look up Ulli Rommel's works, oh man... you're in for a treat.
