Wow I don't usually post any comment but this was such a cool talk! Interesting for anyone who likes networking. Good that the algorithm showed me this one! Keep up the good work!
I want to note that the first internet worm was a recursive ping algorithm that tried to map the entire intranet/internet. I feel like people working on infosec should know that very basic piece of history. The shape of the internet is what it is because of that worm that first downed the whole thing.
Edit: fixed timestamp cool software, [due to my retyping error] the example code at 33:44 gave a traceback (bbotengine error in engine.py, self.startServer) on my system. Update: My bad, forgot about name=main
It's actually maddening listening to it as I'm doing other things. Couldn't he have gotten something a bit more quiet? Sounds like he's sipping from one of those canteens they used to use in the military.

"Yes, let's reinvent a much reinvented wheel." So. Much. Naivete. Couldn't sus out a 127.x.x.x redirect? Hmmmm. Couldn't tell when the bugs demo ended or whether there was a prod demo. Made me want to contribute to spiderfoot instead. Catchy talk title, doubtful the speaker knows where it comes from.

Recursion has a lot of possibilities in enumeration and intel gathering
Recursion? Well. Dig as deep as you can on all the clues you find, sure.
