This may sound stupid, but I'm not knowledgeable as to what this actually means. I would love a video explaining the signal path used, and the significance compared to other methods. Love your work BTW.

If you imagine every Mic, Instrument, Midi controller in that studio being fed into multiple Apollo X8p interfaces, and then those interfaces are processing all of those signals and adding the extra effects, compression, reverbs, EQ etc, then out to the different speakers/ recording software. Thats a very simple overview of whats happening. Just some serious high end gear to what the average home studio user would have lol

I agree, maybe some blues, simpler and less production. You guys sound great, but it doesn't have to be so busy. Less is more,sometimes. Maybe more direct into amp without so much effects, am I going backwards or something? OK I remember The Blues on a budget vid, Your heart just wasn't in it. Never mind.

After your cover of Wicked Game I did not expect anything less than what I've just heard. Even though Ben and Dave are missing, Chris and Tom did a great job. Hannahs vocals are just amazing. But still I just can't get over your solos Rabea. The build up creates so much tension which releases in such a beautiful way. So keeping it short: Just keep doing what you do and thank you. This was great. I love the ambient-sounding guitars all throughout - they give the song a wonderfully haunting quality. Then there are Hannah's vocals. 'Nuff said.

Hell yea, Bea. The guitar leads were tasteful with great build up. Also, Ms. Boulton is a badass singer. And a respectful nod to the rhythm section. Nice dynamic control all the way around.
I thought I recognized Hannah's voice but didn't recognize her with the blonde hair. But there again I haven't heard anything from her since the Frog Leap video. Awesome job. Btw tell Chappers to make lefty versions of your signature axes.

Robert Payne i am a Metalhead and i don’t like pop and so on... but I have to admit the album Feature Love Sex Sound by Justin Timberlake is awesome (including this song) ....the cover is great but the original is awesome. I highly recommend you checking it out

Hard rock and metal dude here...JT has the best live band I've seen in my life.
tbh, the session sounds ridiciously good and the overall quality of the mix is more than stunnning. But I think this version completely misleads the energy and vibe from the original, which is not a thing of instrumentation, but of arrangement and feel. Listen to the rhythmic interplay between the vocals and meldoy section (f. ex. the line in the beginning) in the original. It's forcing a really specific pattern, creating consistent tension and release. Unfortunately this is a problem I have with 90% of these studio cover sessions. They often sound super sterile and the focus is more on a perfect clean production than getting the vibe of the music that is being played. It sounds like what it is, an advertisment for studio equipment. Although it's really well played it doesn't catch me at all.
This cat is one of most talented well rounded guitarists to come along in decades! And has only been playing for what? 10 years or so? Makes me sick! LOL. I wish I had your talent and drive man. The stuff you play isn't always my cup of tea but the ability you show is incredible. My hat is off to you sir! ROCK ON!!!

Awesome! Only wish Rabea's terrific guitar lead work would stand out more in the mix. Currently on myaudio it seems to blend in too much. That said i's terrific overall.

World class vocals from Hannah, we really should be hearing WAY more of her. Great solid backing and wonderful layered Strat with a tasteful builder of a solo. I’m a big Toska fan but even more so of tasteful toneful playing like this. S’all about the music not the gear and this was great music.

Sounding amazing! Hannahs vocal harmonies were really cool and her lower register is so warm (I'm sure that big ribbon mic helped too - interesting to see how high she was mic'd up) , rhythm section was super tight, and as for your tones and playing just so tasteful and 'for the song'. Loved the build into the solo, lovely bit of octave work! Top marks, gold stars all round. I really need to upgrade to an apollo x. I wonder when the twin x is coming.... NAMM 2020 perhaps?!

Not my typical type of music and I've never heard the original (believe Bea said it was a cover, correct?), but this is fantastic. I've no plans to even bother to look up the original, this stands on it's own so well, I've no need. It always makes me smile how tasteful Bea's playing is. And Hannah (and the rest of the group) sound outstanding.
This is better than the original lol. Everything that JT does/produces is utter crap barely fit for the bin let alone air time. Can't stand the egotistical pervert. But somehow these guys salvaged something from it. Testament to how much better they are to be quite honest.
