Today Show - Live from Walcott, IA Sept. 1977

This is some video from the Today Show from September 1977! Jane Pauley visited, and braodcast live from the Golinghorst Farm in Walcott, IA.
I have converted the footage from old film to digital, which unfortunately means the quality is not the best. Also, unfortunately, some of the segments were unexplainably cut short. I have tried to cut the segments together to make this as amusing as possible, and stay under the 15 minutes RUclips will allow!
This is my Christmas present to the Golinghorst Family, I hope you enjoy!

At lastI The theme song (closing credits) I've been searching everywhere to hear again. Thanks. It was written by Ray Ellis, who also wrote the theme that replaced this one.

It is not easy to find this version of Ray Ellis' first This Is today theme! This is the one I remember when I was a kid. It's easy to find the original rendition of this, which uses different instruments, but not this mid 70's update! This is the theme that NBC had to scrap when the composers of the godspell song day by day sued them and won for copyright infringement.

Where can I find the original rendition? It's as if someone at NBC was determined to wipe out all trace of this great theme song.
