If IDF generals were not consumed by hubris and mentality that they are the most superior and experienced, they could have outsmarted Hamas with increased use of FPV drones like Ukraine does successfully. Today IDF wastes expensive missiles to target individual Hamas operatives that also kills lots of civilians which helps Hamas isolate Israel geopolitically. And also now we see that Israel is completely naked and exposed to potent Hezbollah drone targeting. Ukraine was offering assistance to exchange experience in counter drone tech to the same Iranian drones that Israel is struggling to defeat. IDF generals rejected Ukraine’s offer believing that they can’t offer them anything useful, meanwhile Ukraine is even teaching American and NATO forces about their counter drone experience. IDF put all bets on Iron Dome and now Hezbollah has all capabilities to bring devastation to half of Israel with frightening drone swarms. I was also shocked by how poorly disciplined IDF continues to be with lax OPSEC protocols as troops were running around recording their base being hit by Hezbollah drone and posting these videos on the web. We’re going to see unprecedented devastation on both sides if conflict with Hezbollah escalates.
