Aja, I wanted to thank you for all of your videos. They really have helped me as someone who didn’t learn much about finances from my parents. I’m proud to say that I will be graduating in May with my second degree completely debt free! I worked my way through school and got scholarships but I wouldn’t have been as financially savvy if I hadn’t found your videos. Ready to start this new chapter of my life and build wealth for myself. Thank you for sharing your knowledge 🙏🏼✨
Thank you for including lots of examples! I started a “budget club” with two friends for support and accountability, my next steps is making goals and this video is so helpful! Trying to tackle credit and student loan debt. It’s going to be a struggle but it needs to be done!
I planned my goals for 2023 along your video on goal setting. It was very helpful to separate private and professional goals, and first think of very specific quarterly goals that I thought were doable in 3 months, and then expand those to specific goals for 6 months, and up to 1 year. I felt confident I could do them, even though they were not actionable steps but rather milestones now that I look at this video. At the end of January I checked my goals for the first quarter and, to my surprise I could already strike several of them off the list! I go back to this goals list every now and then, when I feel lost, and it makes me focus on what matters to me. I've been struggling with procrastination for a while, so this strategy has been really helpful ☺️ I think that I will now take one of my milestones for Q1 and jot down the actionable steps to get it done. It might help me materialize it even easier, who knows?
There is no small business. If someone is spending day and night thinking of quitting their job and expanding/ growing that business it’s not small 💪🏼💪🏼
Aja…great video! Thank you for the breakdown of quarterly goals. So many times I have had ideas of what I wanted to accomplish but felt very daunted by the planning. Now that I have the blueprint for how to go about it, I’m going to put pen to paper!
I am a sandwich generation. so, my Q1 goal this year is to start a family emergency fund (1k and grow it later) that is separate with my own emergency fund. to make sure that I can support my loved ones without putting myself at a bigger risk.
