Well, whoever people you are, the powerhouse voice of your vocalist remembers me from the original voice of Donna Summer (with added layer of fullness & power). Great job! Even the style of music in this song brings good wibes and memories, when i reminisce the Powerpop of 80's & 90's from my childhood.
the guitar solo is too very far from original solo.,why the guitarists doesnt "cifra" ?you can rate how good is a band by playing songs just like original the notes of original artist..they are only covering or "immitators " so it must be played well as original.. you can do improvisation if you are already a recording artist or a professional artis/band,because listeners are already know that you are good.,BUT IF YOU ARE ONLY an amateur band: people will say that you are not good player because you played too different than the original.
Guitar is too loud and bass & keys is not loud enough. Disco is about bass & drums-groove. Guitar is way too distorted & not funky at all. This version sounds like a heavy rock song. It's just the wrong energy. Vocals are awsome and musical performance was great, but sound didn't quite bring out the groovy, funky, dance element. These guys definitely have musical talent. They could be such a kick-ass band if they work out the kinks that's holding them back from much bigger success. I wish them all the best luck in the world. I'll have to follow to see if originals & full albums are on the horizon.
