So... I actually filmed this all on Monday of this week. Anyways, since then, there have been official rumors (there's an oxymoron for ya) about a battle pack coming in the summer wave next year.
I would love a "background characters" pack that just comes with parts to mix and match so u could buy multiple and have a bunch of combinations and no repeats
@@manuelbello5806 I do like it when they use regular heads with special printing for aliens because they're more versatile, for example you can make a Duros or Weequay rebel pilot. but it's true that many other species like Bith and Ithorians do need their own molds
I would put a Gran, a Quarren, a Gotal and a Sullustan into a potential 4 figure alien BP. But the set concept/suggestion that I posted under your Cantina/Citizens video is still my preferred solution bc of the sheer number of SW OT & PT aliens.
I know the sarlac pit already is like the dlc to the sail barge right. But I just build the pirate snub fighter and to be fair, those figs really go well with this set, using the snub fighter for parts and the figs on the sail barge
I definitely agree that lego should make a thug battle pack, but I dont think its likely and the only battlepack rumoured for the summer is supposed to be night troopers. If only it was a jabbas guards battlepack!
I don't think it's likely but would be awesome! I think Hasbro did like a one-seated mini version of the desertskiff which I've seen some good mocs of could be cool to have as the vechile.
People care way too much about the figures, to the point where they actually let 5% of a set (at best) determine their overall opinion of the set. I almost want to go back to the way it was in the 2000s where they just didn’t include figures at all. At least then I wouldn’t have to listen to anyone complain
I agree in the sense that I don't like it when figures are unaffordable due to only being included in gigantic & expensive UCS sets. Figures should be for play, big detailed models mainly for display. But Lego really blurred the lines by making "UCS" sets like Hoth Echo Base and Ewok Village, which do need minifigures for the set to make any sense.

I'm glad that we agree so passionately on the necessity of more (and affordable) aliens in Lego SW.
Make a video on how we need location sets
@ I must admit I don’t think I would be the best one to do that because I personally don’t really care much about location sets.

Me too. Or a magical trunk style set or accessory pack
RANDOM ALIENS IN CHEAP SETS
DO IT, LEGO
Special molds specifically, but both special molds and standard heads is better

I’m surprised you didn’t bring up the already released Jawa battlepack in this discussion
I remember that, it was so cool! Gave me hope that we'd see more similar ones in the future,,which sadly hasn't happened so far
sail barge is going to be hard to justify with the new jango fett ship

A bith maybe or an Ithorian as well

As much as I want and love this. We’re gonna have to keep dreaming imo 😢

i think that sadly the tie-in playset for ucs slot was filled by the skiff & sarlacc but i hope i'm wrong
I can’t believe this is $500
I think it is off the table. Heard the battle pack would be an Ahsoka series death trooper battle pack

Good news! No battle pack!
I've already ordered like 10 additional figs for the barge.. lmao
Im still skeptical abou the ucs sail barge being real. I didnt see it at the store. Im thinking ai
comes out on the 3rd for insiders 6th for everyone else
@@Sco3000 don't belief the lies there is no sail barge
It’s on the Lego site.
@@moonshoes11 Don't belief everything you see on line

It needs at least another Gamorrean, and 2 Weequay skiff guards.
If you buy the Boba Fett Throne Room as well youll be in pretty good shape and can fill up the barge nicely
