When I was younger, I didn't actually know young K was a different actor to old K; I now realise it's because Josh Brolin _perfectly_ nailed Tommy Lee Jones to the point where it felt like they were the same person.
When you think about it, Griffin’s sentence “when there’s death there will always be death” means in the timeline K dies, his father survived ! So even when he could have a talk with him in the alternative future, he didn’t because of time travel consequences which imo is even sadder.
Men in Black 3 works so well largely because of Josh Brolin’s heartfelt portrayal, which threads younger K’s humor, charm, and latent trauma right into the Tommy Lee Jones persona. It turns what could have been a gimmicky time-travel sequel into a surprisingly poignant finale for J and K’s story.
Nope. Their own Effects are not working or It was not fully tested to de-aging tommy lee jones. Plus. He is not getting any younger by that time and no references to digitally de-aged tommy lee jones in his younger days. That is why they have no other choice but to cast a younger version of tommy lee jones to play as agent K. So they chosed josh brolin and it works
Also the assumption that he was RAISED by K in the background. And K was always aware of his existence before recruiting him. Which is why J thanks him at the end of the movie and K tells him that it was his privilege( to have taken care of him from the day his dad died, which also makes MIB 1 hilarious when he asks how many times he has been "flashy thinged".😅 )
To this day, I'm still wondering if that guy's head was the alien or if there was an alien in his body and the head was some extremely good part of a disguise.

Josh brolin probably did the greatest job I’ve ever seen doing a younger version of Tommy Lee Jones
Agreed 👍

Bro I didn't even know that was Josh Brolin. I thought they de-aged the real agent K. Gosh I was so young back then
Brolin should have won an Oscar. That is just a brilliant acting job.
This is the best part of the whole MIB trilogy. Thanks for sharing. The only other scene to add is the end when J thanks K at the diner.
He did a great job.
6:44 - I think Griffon showed the colonel that his son was going to grow up to be the agent in front of him, he can then die knowing his son is safe 😢
After, when J asks what he showed the officer, Griff says "It was you" under his breath

I love the scene in the diner. It just humanizes the character so well.
Mick Jagger is an alien, I'll buy that lol
Should've included the walk on the beach in the end there
"How much Tommy Lee Jones can you do in your performance?"
"All of it, slick."
Young Agent Kay: It’s Ok 👌
Your daddy's a hero, just broke my heart
I really always thought this was Tommy Lee digitally de-aged.

@ That’s a true credit to Josh Brolin’s acting ability. He nailed the southern accent and mannerisms of Agent K perfectly.
The menu scene is so relatable
So, it was J’s Father’s death that changed him.
Yes it was

Josh Brolin made this film. Perfect! It's easily the best of the MIB productions.
To this day, I'm still wondering if that guy's head was the alien or if there was an alien in his body and the head was some extremely good part of a disguise.
