I feel like the practical effects are why a lot of older movies still look pretty good. Newer films tend to just chose to green screen and CGI everything.

One of the biggest goofs in the film: During the chase, earlier on before he says NYPD, he says "LAPD!" At first I thought I was imagining things, but I rewound and checked and was like, holy crap!
