2022 YZ250f FIRST RIDE

Once again Yamaha did not fail on producing a rocket ship right out of the box. I know not much changed this year but it is still impressive how much power these bikes have the way they are stock. I had the opportunity to ride a couple of other brands but still was not satisfied with any of the others. The only area they may have been slightly better was handling but other than that I was not impressed with the other bikes. I decided to move my handlebar mounts to the lower mounts and that did help my handling a bit depending on the size of the rider. I also was using the smooth linear map on this track. I like to alternate between hard hitting and smooth linear depending on the track.

Thank you, I had about 37 hours total but I did replace the top end timing chain and clutch at 30 hours
