What a coincidence, I just watched your KX250 two stroke video yesterday and now you're here commenting haha! This is my buddy riding, but he loves the bike. KX250F feels slimmer and doesn't have as much torque as the Yami, but it handles really well and the power pulls hard up top 🤘

Hey, long time sub from back when you released the Raptor 700 vs RMZ250 vid.
Just curious about your thoughts on something. I started on a ‘74 f7 175 2t when I was 14, I’m 17 now. I’ve been debating my second bike and basically now am waiting for a good used deal to come up but that’s pretty much impossible with all the Covid inflation.
Anyway I’ve got full eyes on Yamaha, 2 strokes only, and have come to want a yz250 over the 125 because I have heard a lot of guys say they wanted more power after one year and I don’t currently want the hassle of reselling. I don’t do any motocross, only trail riding and single track. I was just wondering what you thought about me going from an outdated underpowered bike with very old and very in-efficient technology to a yz250 when I have yet to ride even a semi current day 2 stroke. I’m 6’2” and 135 lbs.

Given your weight, size and what riding. I would say the 125 but if you want to do heavy riding or hard riding like enduro the 250 might do a bit better.
@@bruhroyale12123 I like single tracks in the woods, so it’s a good thing I picked up a clean all stock 2015 yz250 about 3 weeks ago.👌 May or may not have pulled the front wheel up in third gear without even trying on the test run, granted I was on asphalt as the guy lived in a residential area. Needless to say, I have absolutely no regrets. The power seems plenty manageable IMO, but I could just have a knack for riding. The low end torque is so smooth yet it’s also so nice to be able to grab a big ol fist full of throttle and snap into that mean powerband coming out of muddy corners or into straights. I have still yet to ride a yz125 but I think I can confidently say I would still like the 250 power more.
