- Finally able to take out one of my new bikes. I'm a big fan of how the frame is now and it being more narrow allows you to squeeze the bike at a better angle. The one thing I did not like about it is the bottom end. It seems that you have to stay in a higher RPM for it to stay on the power compared to the older model which you can stay in a lower gear and it'll get you out of trouble either way but I have a couple of upgrades coming in the mail so I will definitely try to wake it up and feel the difference. Overall, very happy with the changes made and look forward to getting it more dialed in

Hey mate do you ever have problems with getting water and things like that in the airbox, i want to do it to my 2016 yz250f but dont want to have problems with water and that.
Make sure to tape it over and change the filter or put a filter cover on. I haven't had any issues if you do that

How many holes did you drill in the airbox cover and what size? Did you notice a big difference in the low end when you did that?

@@smauller623 I was told that there was not much of a difference. It was better to just do these upgrades instead.
